Question: what r the benefit of Vitamin E tablet ????? how it help in human body?
Answer: Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that protects tissue against free radicals. Free radicals are unstable molecules that usually contain oxygen and can interaction with DNA and other molecules leading to an impaired cell function. Vitamin E, one of the chemical compounds that prevents oxygen from reacting with other compounds, neutralizes free radicals, and is, therefore, one of the body’s natural defenses against cancer and cardiovascular disease.
Vitamin E is also important in the formation of red blood cells and helps the body use vitamin K. Vitamin E improves circulation, is necessary in the repair of tissue, promotes normal blood clotting and healing, and can reduce scarring, too.
Women find it useful in the treatment of premenstrual syndrome and fibrocystic disease of the breast.
Older adults take it to help reduce blood pressure, relax leg cramps, help prevent cataracts, and, perhaps, to assist in reducing age spots.
Vitamin E also helps prevent anemia, maintains healthy nerves and muscles, and promotes healthy skin and hair.

Question: can someone please tell me what the topical & internal benefits of vitamin E are? I bought a bottle of nature's bounty vitamin E yesterday and i am just wondering what the benefits are it is in oil form, but says that you can take it internally
Answer: Specifically, vitamin E may help to:
Prevent or delay heart disease and related complications.
Protect against prostate and other cancers. As an antioxidant, vitamin E helps to safeguard cell membranes from the damaging effects of free radicals that can play a role in the development of cancer.
Prevent or delay cataracts and macular degeneration.
Slow the progression of Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
Retard the aging process and boost immune function. With age, the immune system becomes less efficient at fighting off microbes and viruses. Part of this decline may be due to low levels of vitamin E in the bloodstream. Some studies have shown improved immune responses in older people who take vitamin E supplements.
Internally -
Promote healing of burns, eczema, and other skin problems. When applied to the skin, vitamin E-containing creams or oils are believed to promote healing, protecting cells from free-radical damage and reducing itchiness. Many people use such products to ensure optimal skin health.
General Dosage Information
Special tips: For most people, supplement dosages for vitamin E should be relatively low (400 IU or less), as there are apparent risks in taking very high doses.
Vitamin E is particularly effective when taken with vitamin C, which increases its absorption by the body.
For topical use, commercial creams containing vitamin E are easy to find. Alternatively, you can break open a capsule or prick at softgel and gently rub the oil directly into the affected area.
Vitamin E is available in natural and synthetic forms. The latest findings indicate natural vitamin E supplements seem to be superior to the synthetic forms.
(Natural forms will be designated with a "d," as in d-alpha. Synthetic forms will be designated with a "dl," as in dl-alpha.)
Products marked as "mixed tocopherols" (alpha, beta, delta and gamma) are absorbed well and also make a good choice.
Guidelines for Use -
Try to take vitamin E at the same time each day.
To promote absorption and lower the risk of stomach irritation, take this fat-soluble vitamin with food that contains some fat.
Once vitamin E squelches free radicals, it becomes a weak free radical itself. For this reason, make sure to get plenty of vitamin C as well; it not only recycles vitamin E that has used up its antioxidant fuel but also restores its free-radical-fighting power.
Tocotrienols can't perform many of the important health functions of tocopherols, so don't substitute tocotrienol supplements for your regular vitamin E capsules. The two can safely be combined, however. You can also get tocotrienols naturally by eating foods that contain it, such as cereal brans (barley, oats, rice) and palm oil.

Question: What are the benefits of Vitamin E and Vitamin C cream for skin ??
Answer: This is wat I found on sites:
Vitamin E as a topical cream was initially discovered by a group of University of California researchers who had suggested it carried advantages for the skin, particularly where the healing of wounds and the repair of scars was concerned.
This was postulated due to the fact that it is literally an antioxidant for the skin. Antioxidants work by combating free radicals that damage internal tissues and organs, so it only makes sense that if Vitamin E could function as an antioxidant, that it would have the same effect on external tissue repair as well.
However recent research has shown otherwise, that not only does it not promote scar tissue healing, but that Vitamin E cream may actually have the opposite effect. Researchers tested the effect of Vitamin E cream at scar removal by testing 15 subjects who had experienced malignant skin tumor removal and experienced two kinds of post-surgery creams. One cream was made of simple moisturizers, and the other had the same ingredients with Vitamin E added. The subjects placed the first cream on one half of their scar, and the second cream on the other half of their wound. This procedure was followed twice a day for one month. Both the subjects and the researchers watched for cosmetic differences in the wounds at weeks one, four, and twelve after the study's initiation.
The results of this study showed that unlike the common belief, for 90% of the subjects, the Vitamin E cream not only did not affect the scars, but made the overall appearance of the wound worse. Further, 33% of the subjects developed a reaction to the Vitamin E cream. From these findings, researchers do not encourage using Vitamin E cream for the healing of scars.
Vitamin E however still has many powerful antioxidant effects, and thus can still be used topically to maximize antioxidant effects.
VITAMIN C:
Good for nourishing your skin
Vitamin C is a well-known antioxidant which protects the skin from UV radiation damage. It can actually reverse some of the damaging effects of the disease. Excessive exposure to the sun and UV radiation causes photo aging (“age spots” caused by the sun), which causes oxidative damage in skin cells. This is characterized by wrinkles, laxity, irregular coloring and appearance of brown spots, and a leathery quality.
Research studies have shown that presence of Vitamin C in tissues reduces this damaging effect on skin. In addition to being an antioxidant, it is also well known for collagen production. Collagen also enhances skin resilience, working as an anti-wrinkling agent for the skin. Vitamin C Creams have been an excellent antidote against skin damage. Essentially, Vitamin C reverses some of the cumulative skin damage from sun exposure. Some of the Vitamin C Creams can also be used as an aid to sunscreen protection. The chemical in this vitamin transforms itself under UV light exposure, creating an anti-inflammatory reaction, thereby reducing sunburn. In addition, since it gets absorbed in the skin, it is washed off by water or perspiration.
As a word of caution, using too much Vitamin C Cream can cause irritation. Always test a small area on your skin before you buy a product in the store. Ideally, try to use high-quality, natural and hypoallergenic products, and keep yourself restricted to the dosage recommendations.
Regular usage of Vitamin C Cream can actually slow down the aging process of your skin and retain your juvenile look for more years!
Hope that helped and those are benifts are good for your skin!!! Hope this helped and that you came to realization of all the benefits these vitamins have to you and your skin:D
Question: What is the benefit of using Vitamin E cream on your face?
Answer: Vitamin E is a "fat soluble" antioxidant that is used by the cells of the skin to counteract the effects of free-radical (rust) damage.
There's no hype to it. This is biochemistry.
However, just because a product says it has Vitamin E doesn't mean it is an effective source. Because most skin care products contain sulfates and parabens, the Vitamin E is more or less protecting you from the damage those chemicals cause.
