Answer: I would recommend doing research on the product before you buy. There are a lot of good resources out there on knee pain and knee pain products. Here is a link to one: http://kneepaininfosite.blogspot.com/
Question: Anyone try Flex Protex from that ITV infomercial? I was just wondering if anyone has tried Nutracea's Flex Protex 'all natural cox 2-inhibitor' as advertised on ITV. Patty McPeak, who supposedly formulated the product, claims that it helps with joint pain, and I wasn't sure if it was hype or if it was legit and really worked. I am very skittish about products from an infomercial. Thanks for any information!
It apparently comes in capsule form and is made from 'stabilized rice bran' along with other herbs such as botswella, yucca and curcumin (found in tumeric?) and also has a certain type of glucosamine.
Answer: I never heard of it, and who is Patty McPeak? Is it a pill or a cream?
Question: I need help with my health problems. It is bad but I now I can overcome it.? Hello I am Mohammed Asadur Rahman and I am sixteen years old now. I am a male and I go to high school. I am right now about 130 pounds and about 5 foot 9 inches tall. All my health problems started in November 2006 because of my little knowledge then. In November 2006, I hurt my left collarbone by fighting with a kid. But I ignored the pain and it wore of a bit in a week. The left side of my collarbone hurts if I sleep on my left side. To avoid the left collarbone pain, I sleep on my right side. Then I got hit by a cricket ball in my left knee on April 28, 2007 since I had no padding. I had extreme pain after the injury. Now I feel a loud clicking noise when I bend it. It does hurt a bit when I bend it. I went to the ER but they did nothing the first time. The second time I went to the ER I got ibuprofen to take from the ER doctor. I developed a bleeding gastric ulcer from taking the NSAID (ibuprofen) for a month. I got the gastritis in May 2007.
I found out that Patty McPeak came up with supplement called “Flex Protex”. Patty McPeak’s website is (http://www.goodnutritioncenter.com/flex-protex.html). She took the remedy herself and fixed her torn labrum in her hip, and her torn cartilage in both of her knees. They already did studies to show that it is helpful. I know this formula can help me heal the left collarbone and left knee injury. I took the antibiotic therapy called Prevpac and then ranitidine. The drugs helped out a bit but still I had severe heartburn. I am now taking nexium. My doctor told me not to eat spicy, oily, and other bad food that would worsen my ulcer.
The only fluid I drink is water and I try my best to drink plenty of it. I found out in the internet that active manuka honey can cure gastric ulcers. I read the testimonial in their website (http://www.manukahoneyusa.com/). I learned that the honey can cure the gastric ulcer in about 3-5 months. The people did studies to show that the honey has healing properties. The website is for real and it is not a scam because as soon as I took the honey I have no heartburn. I just took the active manuka honey for two weeks and felt quite a difference. I must know what foods I can eat at school. Can anyone tell me if you ever had a stomach ulcer? If so, can you specifically tell me which kinds of food are good for me? I also want to know if the gastritis is curable. Can you give me recipes to help cure my gastritis?
Since I have left collarbone and left knee pain, I go to an orthopedic. He told me to first do physical therapy to get my muscles stronger. If that does not help then he said he is going to give me a cortisone injection. If the cortisone injection does not work then I might need surgery. I know the Flex Protex will help me heal these problems. I am stressing a lot over this because these health problems prevent me from having any fun. Teachers in school expect you to do everything you can. But for me this has become an extremely difficult task.
Thank you very much
