Human Growth Hormone
Question: Does the synthetic human growth hormone really help you grow? I really want to grow!! I'm a 17 year old guy, and I'm only 5'4'' =[
I want to grow at least 5'8''
So does the synthetic human growth hormone work? What about the Growth Enhancer Plus?? Should I contact my doctor, or where can I buy these medicines?
Also, my voice has NOT changed and I have like no mustache.
Answer: If you have not fully gone through puberty, it is likely your growth plates are not closed, therefore growth hormone might work.
These drugs are not to be given unadvisedly, and you should seek referral to an endocrinologist for evaluation. You will have some xrays, to look at the growth plates and see if you are a candidate.
If you come from a short stature family, it may be constitutional, and the endocrinologist would be reluctant to give them. If, however, there is another reason for your short stature, and your bones are starting to close the growth plates, they might want to give you a few extra inches before it is no longer an option.
Question: What does the addition of a human growth hormone gene allow the bacteria to do? why? help me with science please!!
it's basically asking how the bacteria changes when adding a human growth hormone gene.
Answer: It allows the bacteria to produce human growth hormone.
Human growth hormone (HGH) is medically used to treat dwarfism. Before bacteria made HGH, animal growth hormones were used, but there were problems including expense.
Research scientists at Stanford and the University of California at San Francisco inserted the HGH gene into bacteria to see if the hormone could be harvested directly. It could be. This was the first commercial product of Genentech, the biotech company.
The next product from the company was human insulin made by bacteria. Before recombinant DNA, insulin was taken from cows and sheep in the slaughter houses. But these animals did not produce human insulin. When the human insulin was produced by bacteria, it was much more effective and safer.
Question: How Much TALLER Can You GET with HUMAN GROWTH HORMONE? I keep hearing estimates of 1 to 3 inches. Is that even worth it paying $30,000 a year for 6 years?
Has anyone ever grew more than 3 inches taking shots of human growth hormone? If so, how many inches?
Answer: If you are taking without medical advice, you are taking risk on your life
Question: What are some ways I can increase the amount of Human Growth Hormone my body produces so I can get taller? I am 14 about 4'10". This is the about same height I was a year ago. The year before that I grew 5 inches. How can I increase the amount of Human Growth Hormone my body produces so I can get taller.
Only natural ways please.
Answer: I am 15, almost 16 & 5',7.5".
Yet, suprisingly, I have the same question!
I've asked this before & god knows I've asked my dad (a doctor) and others.
Answers:
1. Sleeping a lot, the HGH is released into your body when you sleep, so sleeping a lot does play a big part.
2. Eating protein. Meats, nuts, etc.
3. Jumping. Sounds silly, I know, but jumping up and down can help your legs.
4. Stretching. Legs, arms, torso, stretching increases flexibility which may lead to feeling taller, not so much actual growth.
5. Sunlight (vitamin D). Go play outside & absorb the sunlight. It helps you grow.
6. Exercise. It's healthy & also helps HCH to be released.
Basically, eat healthy, exercise & sleep well.
Good luck to you! You can also see how tall you will most likely be through the heights of your parents. If you are a girl, you will be most likely just as tall as your mom or a little taller. In most cases your height will be between the heights of your parents.
Example: My mom is 5,7" & my dad is 6'.
So it makes sense I'm 5,7.5". I'll probably only grow until 1-2 inches if I'm lucky.
This isn't true in all cases though, I have a cousin who looks down upon his parents !!
Good luck & hope I've helped youuuuuu.
PS- The answer about the amino acids. I looked that up and there are a lot of dangerous side effects to that. Type it in on Yahoo answers and you will seee. Or simply google it. Growing is supposed to be something healthy that your body wants to do!
Question: What will Sylvester Stallone face for pleading guilty to smuggling banned Human Growth Hormone into Australia? He was caught red handed smuggling banned Human Growth Hormone into Australia at Sydney Airport ! Now that he has pleaded guilty through his Lawyers what punishment will he receive ? Will this be served in Australia if it is custodial, or in the US ? The amount although for "personal use" was apparently large enough to be considered trafficking. Should Hollywood Stars be treated with greater leniency than the rest of society, or should they be made to be aware of their greater influence through their high profiles ? Any sportsman would be banned for life and incarcerated, why should an actor be any different ? Another example is obviously the Paris Hilton case, should Sly serve time, that is my Question ?
Answer: The article I read stated he can receive a max fine of $19,000...since it's being tried locally, not federally. This is the same for celebrities and commoners alike (no special treatment here).

Question: Does anyone know what the best human growth hormone available is? I’m starting to lose a step and have heard that this is a really good way to fight the effects of aging. Please let me know what you have tried and what benefits you noticed. I know that buying the best human growth hormone is probably expensive, but I’m willing to give it a try.
Answer: I just had my thirty-nine birthday. I’ve managed to stay in shape over the years using aerobic and strength exercises, but about a year ago I noticed a decrease in my stamina and energy level. I didn’t have the physical endurance level I needed to complete some of the exercises that I had been doing for years. I also noticed that my sexual endurance was suffering, and my sleep pattern was changing. Wrinkles started to appear around my eyes, but they didn’t bother me as much as the endurance issues. I decided to do some research, so I could feel better about myself.
I realized that my natural level of Human Growth Hormone was decreasing throughout my body, based on the information I found on the Internet. HGH levels decrease with age, and I wanted to get those levels back to normal somehow. A friend told me about a website he visited and thought I should take a look at it, because he was going through the same situation, plus his hair was thinning and his memory was not as good as he thought it should be. We both visited www.Sytropin.com and read the reviews about the oral spray they called Sytropin. We both liked the idea that it was natural and had no side effects, plus it came with a ninety day guarantee. The website said the spray goes right to the bloodstream, so the amino acids aren’t affected by the digestive system, and we didn’t have to mess with injections or pills or any additional expense.
After about forty five days I started to feel a difference in my energy level, and I was sleeping better; my friend said his eye sight got better after thirty or forty days, so we both felt we made the right decision. I’ve been taking Sytropin ever since, and I wouldn’t start a day without it. My workouts are back to normal and I can even see a difference in the wrinkles around my eyes. My stamina is back, so my sexual performance is as good as, or better than, it has ever been.
Question: Who is the best baseball player before the human growth hormone era? And who is the best in the HGH era? My vote would go to Willie Mays in the era before human growth hormone was widely abused. And my vote for the best player in the human growth hormone era would be V. Guerrero. The guy can do almost everything.
Answer: Well, I was born in the 70's, so forgive me if I don't give an answer to the pre-HGH era of someone like Wille Mays, Mickey Mantle, or Babe Ruth...I never saw any of them play and refuse to grade anyone on highlights alone.
The best player I can recall seeing before 1994 (which is when I will assume the HGH era began) would be Ozzie Smith. No one was at his level defensively at his postion for as long as he was in my lifetime. Yes, he didn't put up the great offensive glory numbers, such as Home Runs and RBIs, but he was a very solid hitter who knew how to run the bases...not to mention that he was clutch in the big games.
In the HGH era, I am going to break it down to the person whom I believe are on performance enhancing chemicals and person whom I think isn't...Granted, regardless of a positive test, everyone in MLB is suspect and there is a much higher percentage using than who has gotten caught to this point...Also, I don't rate only on offensive performance...So, Ortiz and Bonds will not be on my list because they are 1 dimensional players...But as far as a player who I don't think is using - are there are not many - but I think Ichiro is the best all around player of the HGH Era who is not using... Also, can I put a vote in for Maddux for pitching???
As far as HGH player who is using...I believe that ARod is suspect and over the past 10 years the best all around player...And with Clemens pitching...
Question: what does it mean when your Human Growth Hormone is elevated? I have Hashimoto's disease/hypo-thyroidism and when my blood tests came back recently, they found that the Human Growth Hormone was slightly elevated. The doctor didn't really explain it, and I was just wondering what caused it, and if it should be of concern, thanks
Answer: Hello...growth hormone is produced directly by the pituitary gland. If HGH it is elevated then pituitary tumors or cysts should be investigated as a possible cause. Your Dr. should be doing other testing to see if other hormones are off also. The fact that you have Hashimotos can be deceiving to Drs...I had Hashimotos AND a pituitary problem but both were misdiagnosed because together it through my TSH (thyroid) tests off. If your Dr. is going solely on TSH to say the pituitary is ok, he could be missing it. In any case, if you are not seeing an endocrinologist you should see one with pituitary expertise. This site has good Dr. listings: www.pituitary.org and this one is good for looking at possible pituitary symptoms: http://www.goodhormonehealth.com/symptoms/gland_hormone_symptom_table.html
Question: Where would I get human growth hormone? I am 22 years old and 5ft 8in. I would like to grow a few inches taller and am considering taking human growth hormone. Where would I get it? Would it help me to grow taller or am I too old?
Answer: Your pituitary gland...if you start taking it you won't get taller, but your head will grow!
Question: What's the difference between HGH (Human Growth Hormone) & Cortisone baseball players used. Are both illegal? What's the difference between HGH (Human Growth Hormone) & Cortisone baseball players used. Are they both illegal?
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM? That's my main question. Which is used for what?
Awesome answer posted by b m. Thank you.
Answer: Both HGH and Cortisone are legal with a prescription. Both are natural hormones made by the human body, though they can also be artificially synthesized. Athletes are often permitted to use cortisone, because cortisone isn't really performance-enhancing. Athletes are sometimes permitted to use HGH, usually in the case that they are still quite young (less than 20) and they would naturally be unusually short without using supplemental HGH. The only case like this I can think of off the top of my head is the Argentinian soccer player Lionel Messi, who is 18, and is legally receiving supplemental HGH so he reaches a normal height.
Cortisone is usually injected directly into the injured area. It is a non-performance-enhancing steroid which acts primarily locally (it doesn't have much effect on the whole body, just in the area where it is injected). Cortisone suppresses the body's pain response in the injured area, allowing players to play through pain.
HGH is a very important hormone which has effects on your entire body. The amount of HGH in your body is the biggest factor determining how tall you will grow. HGH prompts bone growth and many other effects throughout the entire body. HGH is legal with a prescription, like cortisone, but because HGH is a much more powerful natural hormone, the potential for HGH abuse and illegal use is much greater than that for cortisone.

Question: Has anyone heard of a product called powerFULL a human growth hormone is it safe? i heard of this product called powerFULL its a human growth hormone and used for work outs in weight lifting and was wondering is it safe
if anyone has used it please let me know what happen to you
also does it have any side affects?
Answer: PowerFull was a testosterone suppliment. However such testosterone suppliments can be very dangerous to ones health's health and should be only taken with a doctors prescription. It is not healthy for those under the age of 20 as it can throw your testosterone levels very out of whack.
The product was also discontinued for safety and health reasons along with numerous dissatisfied customers, why they were dissatisfied I don't know and such can often be the case even for good products. However there were hefty health risks and safety concerns that lead to its discontinuation.
If you found a supplier with it its a back stock, I'd personally pass on any such risk.
Question: Are Human Growth Hormone the same as Testosterone boosters and what are the risks of taking them? i was thinking of buying some human growth hormone to increase my muscle size, but i was just wondering do they do the same job as testosterone boosters and are there any risks/side effects when taking them, and if so, what risks?
Answer: Think about where they "harvest" it from!
Question: Concerning Human Growth Hormone and Height? I will turn 16 on the 8th of September, 2007
I am 5' 6 tall and weigh about 145 lbs
Height has always been a sensitive issue in my eyes and I can understand its importance because of how it is perceived by society.
Suffice it to say that I don't want to stay 5' 6 for one reason or another.
I have looked into other methods for height increase and found that most, if not all are ineffective, with the exception of the "limb lengthening procedure" and "human growth hormone," respectively.
Just judging from a cursory glance, the first of these two would not be feasible.
That leaves Human Growth Hormone. Human Growth Hormone
is available in oral sprays, pills, and injections.
Essentially, only the injections work.
I have about $10,000 to spare offhand.
I have been reading prudently and found that HGH by injection, the cost that is, ranges from "$10,000 - $18,000
I don't quite understand the discrepancy. Nonetheless, I am willing to bear any discomfort or inconvenience if that is the issue at hand.
It is required that the epiphyseal plates be open for HGH to work properly, in increasing height gains in adolescents
In a nutshell I have three potential problems.
a)Do I have enough money to pay for the treatment ($10,000 no more, no less)?
b)Have my growth plates closed?
c)Supposing that cost and eligibility don’t pose an issue and I reach the treatment stage, about how much could I be expected to grow and what might be my final height?
Thanks for your help, it is greatly appreciated.
Did I leave the impression that I was female...?
I'm not.
In light of that you could probably understand my concern
Answer: I can understand your sensitivity -- but, you are by no means "below" average, and you haven't even stopped growing yet. Put your money to use by using it for college.
Side effects of HGH
"If your body has too much HGH in it, you can develop a disease called acromegaly, which causes the hands and face to grow freakishly big. The jaw becomes larger and your face becomes rough and oily.
"Organs like the heart, kidney and liver will also start to grow too much, which can cause heart disease, diabetes and other nasty ailments. Using HGH can also increase the risk of cancer because of the unnatural growth of cells. Some doctors say the apparent increase in the size of Barry Bonds' head over the past few seasons is a sign that he has injected HGH to improve athletic performance. While human growth hormone may help some athletes, using HGH is also cheating and its dangerous side effects can be especially damaging to kids and teens, whose bodies are already going through major changes during puberty."
