Hydroderm
Question: How Hydroderm wrinkle reducer works? Tell me about the terms and conditions please.? My aunt went for Hydroderm 2 months free trial offer last week wherein she got 2 months supply of wrinkle reducer as well as moisturizer. I searched for the reviews. But When I tried to place the order it was only Hydroderm Wrinkle reducer 2 months free trial and no moisturizer.
Answer: Recently I came across a review of Hydroderm Wrinkle Reducer . There is no harm trying the product. It's free for 2 months that too with moisturizer. hope this has replaced Botox injections as they claim.
Question: Has anyone ever tried Hydroderm? Does it really work the way they claim? This question is for my mom. She wanted to try Hydroderm but was wondering if it really worked.
Answer: yes
Question: Is Hydroderm available here in the Philippines? Hydroderm anti wrinkle cream offers free trial product in the U.S. Can i also avail of it here?

Question: An ad just popped up on my PC for a free trial for Hydroderm? As I am getting older I don't recognize myself when I look in the mirror, these wrinkles and sags are taking over my body.
So I saw this ad for Hydroderm, with a free trial. It looks enticing, buy does it work?
I would be happy to hear about your experience with the product. Nothing is ever free, so I don't want to get involved, unless it really works. And I wonder how much does it really cost? The ad doesn't tell you that.
Thank you.
Answer: Patti:
Though I answered your question in the discussion posts, I thought I'd go into a little more detail here since no one else has posted an answer yet.
Anti-aging treatments are often thought of as all hype by those outside of the field or those who don't have any interest in or need for them. But this is not entirely true.
Among my courses for a nanotechnolgy degree, we also did some research into the biological field. I've researched the aging process... And we spent some time in a university lab that was doing some very well funded research into collagen.
Collagen is a material in the body that supports the outer skin structure, and as you age this collagen becomes less and less adept at fulfilling this role, which makes your skin less resilient, (especially in areas such as on the face where the skin is the thinnest and stretched the most), and this leads to wrinkles.
(Collagen is also used to treat burn victims, so it has both serious medical and very lucrative cosmetic applications).
From Wikipedia:
"Collagen is one of the long, fibrous structural proteins whose functions are quite different from those of globular proteins such as enzymes; tough bundles of collagen called collagen fibers are a major component of the extracellular matrix that supports most tissues and gives cells structure from the outside..."
There are two ways used to combat the changes in skin structure with age. You can have injections of collagen, or injections of bacteria (Botox) that cause minor, temporary inflamation under the skin, thereby filling out fine lines.
Or you can attempt to counter these wrinkles with topical creams that temporarily thicken the skin to some degree and penetrate it from the outside in, once again filling in wrinkles.
Collagen is now present in some of these creams.
If a wrinkle cream contains copper peptides, it can stimulate the natural production of collagen:

(Note in this Mayo Clinic article that they stress price is not an indicator of quality or efficacy).
Here is an example of a cream that contains collagen:

Here's an article that goes into detail on some of the key ingredients in wrinkle cream and their potential benefits:

And another one that stresses the value of antioxidant stimulating ingredients and collagen ingredients:

--------------------------------------
So what does Hydroderm actually have in it?
It has many collagen related molecules:
http://yedda.com/questions/Hydroderm_ingredients--Concerned_8620157241716/
So that is a good indicator for the product in terms of whether it actually works or not. But keep in mind that you can get these same ingredients in much less expensive products.
(And the sources are often bovine in nature, so don't let that scare you). In medical cases where they want to avoid allergic reactions, they may even get it from human cadavers.
Wikipedia:
Collagen has been widely used in cosmetic surgery, as a healing aid for burn patients for reconstruction of bone and a wide variety of dental, orthopedic and surgical purposes. Some points of interest are:
when used cosmetically, there is a chance of allergic reactions causing prolonged redness; however, this can be virtually eliminated by simple and inconspicuous patch testing prior to cosmetic use, and most medical collagen is derived from young beef cattle (bovine) from certified BSE (Bovine spongiform encephalopathy) free animals. Most manufacturers use donor animals from either "closed herds", or from countries which have never had a reported case of BSE such as Australia and New Zealand. porcine (pig) tissue is also widely used for producing collagen sheet for a variety of surgical purposes. due to the care in donor animal breeding and selection, as well as the technology used in the preparation of collagen from animal sources, the chance of immune reactions or disease transmission has been virtually eliminated.[citation needed] alternatives using the patient's own fat, hyaluronic acid or polyacrylamide gel are readily available. So my advice is to look for a cream that has it in some form, as well as mild levels of retinol for antioxidant action. Don't be swayed by the most expensive products or those packaged the best, as the ingredients are no better than their competitors.
Question: Has anyone ever used Hydroderm? Does that really work as what it claims? I saw the ads all over the internet and the pictures shown seems very conveniencing.
Answer: Stay the heck away from it!

Question: How good are these Hydroderm Products that you see all over the internet?
Answer: I'd stick with a product that's been tried, tested, and rated the #1 skin care line in the US. To reduce wrinkles, try the Mary Kay TimeWise Miracle Set. Most of our line is hypoallergenic and it's all fragrance free (except Velocity, which is more geared towards teens). It's our "age-fighting skin care collection proven to deliver dramatic results for soft, beautiful, younger-looking skin." Personally, I don't like to mess with the esoteric companies, especially when dealing with my skin. Hope this helps! If you have more questions, you can contact me through my website:

Question: Has anyone tried the Hydroderm products? Namely the original wrinkle reducer and renewal moisturizer? Did you have any results with either one? Did it make the wrinkles less noticeable? If so, how long before you saw a difference?
Answer: I bought a sample bottle online, then my daughter bought a big bottle online, she gave it to me..Honestly it did not work any better than over the counter things>No i did not notice a difference
Question: Those wrinkel creams don't work hydroderm whatever anyone it helped? nothing but worry lines for when myFREE ran ot anyone try it??
Answer: I used it. It did plump up the skin and made the wrinkles look better but the results are temporary and not as drastic as the ad. I thought it cost too much for what it does. If it had been cheaper I would purchased it again plus they want to put you on auto ship.
Question: Shopzu offers Hydroderm cream samples, has anyone used Hydroderm Cream? It's meant to work amazingly well on wrinkles and fine lines. Can anyone recommend a good anti-wrinkle face cream?
Answer: If you are looking for home remedy to reduce wrinkles, try this.
Smear honey on your face and leave it for as long as possible (but 5-10mins a day will do). then rinse off with tepid water mixed with a teaspoon of cider vinegar - this has a neutral pH and will act as a toner.
And if you have some bucks, Lifecell anti wrinkle cream would be a good choice. You can have more information here.

Question: Where can I find Hydroderm's OLD eye firming gel? The newer version is NOT the same formula (although I was told that it was, it does not produce the same results). The Older version was a pink creamy/gel type that came in a small round vial. It contained astaxanthin, but I'm not sure about any other ingredients. Hydroderm changed their eye firming product within the last 3-4 years, but I want to purchase the OLD product. Please help. Thank you.

Question: Not that I need it (lol) but has anyone tried the Hydroderm stuff* and is it all just a bunch of hype? * as advertised every 10 seconds on this web page
Answer: YES it works .... they used the stuff over at the Egyptian Museum and applied it to a mummy and lo and behold the desiccated corpses looks like a whooping 200 years younger now.
Question: hydroderm..does it really work? has anyone ever used the product hydroderm for the reduction of cellulite? does it really work? what about the other product they have on the market for under the eye..to remove lines and dark circles
Answer: There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.
http://www.mydarkcirclesblog.com/2006/11/27/causes-of-dark-circles/
If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

Question: Has anyone tried Bodyshape by Hydroderm? Is suppose to reduce the apperance of cellulite and improves apperance of skin tone. I'm about to spend $99 for this product and would like to know if is worth it?
Answer: You can get the Mary Kay Cellu-Shape contouring system for $55! I am selling it for 25% off of that... I don't know much about the Bodyshape by Hydroderm, but it sounds expensive!
The MK product is 2 products, in 1. One gel for night and one lotion for the day. Daytime Body Moisturizer is a supercharged formula that stimulates cellular activity, significantly increases the skin’s hydration level and begins the firming and toning process. Nighttime Body Gel completes the firming and toning process, strengthening the skin’s support system in problem areas so the visible signs of cellulite are minimized. It also moisturizes skin so it feels silky-smooth to the touch.
Question: Hydroderm Age-Defying Wrinkle Reducer has anyone tried this product?
Answer: If you are looking to reduce wrinkles, you can try LifeCell..
I've been using LifeCell for two months and I must say that I'm really happy with the results because I can see that my wrinkles start disappearing.
The reason LIfecell work so well is because LifeCell provides Acetyl Hexapeptides – 3, also found in upscale creams like Estée Lauder Perfectionist [CP+] which is used to interrupt the cycle of irritation that creates wrinkles.
However Lifecell is bit pricey though.. it's $189.00 per bottle and it reflects the use of these expensive affective ingredients.
The beauty of LifeCell Anti-Aging is that you can take advantage of a try it free - pay no money for 30-days, 120-days, double your money back guarantee.
You can visit here http://www.ebeautymagazine.com/lifecellskin.php for more information.
Question: How effective is Hydroderm?
Answer: You want to look younger? Then eat fruits, vegetables and low fat foods, drink water, exercise regularly and sleep 8 hours. If you want to stay young and healthy you should take care of your body inside out. You dont want to use hydroderm, do bottox, or thermalift on a face when the rest of the body is damaged by all those years of neglect. My grandparents died of an old age, (85 and 98 respectively), they did not have any alpha hydroxy available and they looked great. At age 80 gramma used to cook, Wash clothes by hand, and clean a house.
Question: Who is willing to admitt they tried Hydroderm? And does it work?
Answer: I'm not old (37) but I ordered it so I could get points at the My Points
Rewards Program. I didn't like it so I gave it away.
I have sensitive skin and it gave me a very light "burning" feeling every time I put it on my face.
Don't order it if you don't want to pay $75 a pop for it. It's not worth it.
