Improve Your Health
Question: What food group do you have to eat to improve your health on millsberry? Someone told me to improve your health That I need to feed my buddy healthy food. But I don't know wich food group to give. Help please?
Answer: Raising your health on Millsberry is easy - just eat right. By right, I mean eat from the 5 food groups every day.
I use two different diets to keep up my health and my health on all my accounts is at 100%.
Diet #1:
If your hunger level is grumbly or 'lower' eat the following:
1. Fruit Salad
2. Green Salad
3. Cheeseburger
If you are still not 'completely full' after eating those three items try adding another salad or fruit salad.
Diet #2:
If your hunger level is comfortably full or higher.
1. Lasagna (found on page 2 of the deli section of the grocery store)
2. Fruit Salad
This should feed you to 'completely full'. If for any reason you are not completely full then try adding another fruit salad.
If you eat this diet every day you should see your health rise. It will rise more quickly if it is low (in the 20s for example) than it does when it is high (in the 80s for example) but it will eventually reach 100%.
Try to feed your person every day and their health should increase very steadily.
Question: Is there any food or supplement you have used to improve your overall health? How do you know it improved your health? Did test results change or your memory improve or you just feel better? Please give us details & tell us if you use this still or if it was temporary & how long you did this. Also, if you know of any precautions, and any other details that might help others. thank you!
Answer: First I take Omega 3 fish oil because my family has a history of Alzheimer and my husband psychiatrists say no proof yet but many doctors are taking it because it does have some promise. Now for my ache knees, I take a supplement call fluid joint. it comes in a cream that you can rub on and in pills that you take daily. The cream smells like Ben Gay, but takes away pain immediately and the pills, well without them, my knees hurt a lot and with them I can continue to bicycle daily.

Question: What is the single most important thing you've done to improve your health? For me, it's when I started drinking water and cut out sodas (even diet ones.) I did it because I wanted to stop drinking caffeine, but the added bonus was that my skin started looking more radiant and I dropped about twenty pounds without making too much of a change in my diet. What's been the best thing YOU'VE done for your health?
Answer: I've quit smoking. It just felt nasty after awhile. My chest would hurt sometimes, usually after a long day of puffing. So I got rid of it. And now I have no more pains. And I can taste and smell much better. I guess that's why people gain weight when they quit. Everything tastes so good! On top of that I have been introducing more fresh produce to my diet, instead of canned. They just taste so much better.
Question: Can vitamin supplements improve your health? Defend your answer. Make sure you discuss the arguments for and against taking supplements – and potential for negative health effects.

Question: How does going to sleep/waking up earlier improve your health? Versus going to sleep late, and waking up late? Does it really make a difference? If I get 9 hours of sleep when I go to bed early and wake up early, but if I just shifted that to be going to bed late and waking up late (but still sleeping 9 hours), would that really affect me health-wise?
Answer: It depends on your sensitivity to day/night cycle. Human beings have a naturally circadian clock and it is set to the sun. Some ppl have no problem moving it off the normal day/night cycle. Others do. For example, night shift gets to most ppl sooner or later for this reason. Many find that if they wake at noon, they are sluggish. Same deal. It's not universal. It depends on you.

Question: What kind of discipline is Yoga? how does it improve your health and your physical condition? I am willing to start making some exercise, but i cannot make my mind if i should try yoga or go to a gym.
I have never done any sport, i'm bad with that, and i believe i have not a good physical condition, altougth i'm not fat or anything like that.
I am just convinced that i need to make something with my body for healt, and because my work is mostly sitted in front of my computer, and as much as i like it, i know it's stressing.
Answer: I don't do any gym programs, just yoga and I am much stronger and leaner than I used to be. You can get a really good workout from a yoga program, if you approach it right.
First, start with classes that will teach you the poses and proper alignment. These classes are usually called Hatha Yoga. You'll need to improve your balance and flexibility a bit before moving on.
After a couple of months, move to a more challenging level. Try Vinyasa yoga, ashtanga yoga, or kundilini yoga. All three are more intense, move faster, and keep your heart rate up in the fat-burning zone.
I think you'll love yoga - plus at the end of each class there is a relaxation/meditation period that is great for destressing. I totally fell in love after the first class.
Have fun!
Question: Can liposuction improve your health by lowering your weight? I am modestly overweight, and like many, have been unable to get rid of the 20+ pounds I would like to through diet and exercise. While liposuction is generally viewed as cosmetic surgery, since it is removing fat, does it have similar health benefits to other forms of fat/weight reduction?
Will liposuction reduce the liklihood of getting heart disease, diabeties, etc.?
Answer: A study was actually done on this subject a few years back. Medical researchers know that abdominal fat is an indicator of cardiovascular health (the more you have, the more at risk you are for heart attacks, high cholesterol, diabetes, etc). This in mind, they performed liposuction on a group of people with abdominal fat in order to see if it helped their degree of cardiovascular fitness. Unfortunately, they discovered that the belly fat is just an indicator of cardiovascular unhealthiness, but is not a cause -- there was no change in their health. Also, a good number of people die from liposuction because it is easy to accidentally pierce an organ with the tool they use to suction fat out. I recommend going to a doctor and having them check your thyroid and cortisol levels. It's very possible that you are perfectly healthy at your weight, and a doctor can assess this for you. Best of luck! :)
