Natural Skin Care
Question: what is a good natural skin care routine for sensitive skin? I've heard all these things about skin care routines (clean, tone, moisturize) but I'm not sure what I should use. I have very sensitive skin and very natural products work best. My skin does not get very oily or have a lot of acne, so I don't need anything extreme. Ideas? Thanks!
=)
Answer: The 1st step of your sensitive skin care routine is to remove eye make-up. Choose an eye make-up remover that is meant for sensitive skin.
* Pour some eye make-up remover on a cotton wool pad.
* Apply gently to remove all eye make-up.
* Dip a cotton bud in eye make-up remove and remove all last traces of stubborn eye make-up.
The 2nd step in your sensitive skin care routine is facial cleansing. Avoid soaps and facial washes. These will remove oil and moisture from the skin and increase your skin’s sensitivity.
Choose a hypoallergenic, light cleansing lotion instead.
Choose appropriate skin care products designed for your skin type. Eg Neutrogena And Clean And Clear Which I Use < Reeally Good Plus They Do Ones For Diffrent Skin Types OiIly Senitive Etc .
The 3rd step in your sensitive skin care routine is facial toning.
Avoid commercial facial toners totally. Even the mildest toner can cause the skin’s natural protection to breakdown.
Use the following steps to freshen up your face.
* Splash warm water on your face. This will help to remove all traces of facial cleanser and residual eye make-up remover from your skin.
* Use a soft towel to lightly pat your face dry. Do not rub the skin as this could irritate it.
The 4th step in your sensitive skin care routine is moisturizing.
It is essential to keep your skin well moisturized. This will strengthen it. The moisturizer will form a protective barrier against irritants.
Choose appropriate skin care products designed for your skin type. Check out this article on moisturizers.
ALSO TRY A GOOD TOP TIP IS TO STEAM YOUR FACE BY GETTING A POT FILLIT UP WITH HOT WATER PUT YOUR FACE IN BUT NOT TOUCHING IT THEN PUT A TOWEL OVER YOUR HEAD SO YOUR IN COMPLETE DARKNESS LEAVE FOR 10 MINS YOU WILL SEE IMIDIATE RESULTS !
Question: Does anyone know of any natural skin care products? I was just wondering if anyone knew of any "around the house" skin or hair care products that work. I've heard of the whole 'tomato paste' and 'egg yolk' which do work. But i was just curious if there were any other natural things to clear up little acne problems or make your skin and hair shine. :-]
Answer: SKIN CARE:
face scrub - put some of your face cleanser in your hand then add a little bit of baking soda, little water and mix then wash your face gently with that. works wonders and u should already have it in your kitchen.
face mask - put about 6 uncoated aspirin in a small container or cup and mix just a few drops in til it gets to a consistency that u can put on your face, u may have to add more water or aspirin to get it right, and it take a few times to figure it out. it will not really be pasty or anything but do ur best to spread it around your face leave on just a few minutes and don't move around alot cause it will dry into a powder and u don't want it to fall into your eyes or nose or anything LOL, then rinse off. works GREAT on acne.
other face mask - kiss my face obsessively organic pore shrink mask
Topical acne treatment - 100% Pure Tea Tree oil dab on pimples with qtip once-twice a day. u can get it cheap at target or walmart in the vitamin section. LOL and the smell does take some getting used to but works miracles
Night time moisturizer - Desert Essence jojoba oil. no this oil will not break u out it actually unclogs your pore and can even help clear up any pimples u have already. apply with cotton ball and massage into face. you can also use this on your bikini area after u shave to prevent ingrown hairs :-) and no your skin will not be oily all night, it will turn nice and soft
face cleanser - cetaphil gentle skin cleanser (not natural but also works wonders)
BODY CARE:
Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystal
Lavanila Body Butters
Desert Essence Vanilla Chai hand and body lotion
Kiss My Face Filthy Rich Moisturizer
100% Pure Body Scrubs
HAIR CARE:
Kiss my face shampoos
Giovanni Magnetic Restuxturing Conditioner
Giovanni Direct Leave in Conditioner
Giovanni Nutrafix Hair Reconstructor
Avalon Organics Lemon Hair Clarifying Shampoo
MAKEUP:
100% Pure - Fruit Pigmented Lip & Cheek Tints
Gabriel Dual Powder Foundation
*my hair has never been so shiny & healthy since I started using the organic hair care products :-) and I also now have my breakouts under control (knock on wood), and wow u have to try those Lavanila body butters. and kiss my face organic lip balms are awesome too*
Hope this helps
Question: why are so many people reluctant on using natural skin care products? i use natural skin care products - from plants but when i show other people they just say they prefer to use the products from the store..i see that my skin feels smoother and looks better than theirs but i am assuming that they think they will have a chemical reaction to natural skin care products...
plus many of the same people are reluctant to eat fresh fruit, and veggies...
Answer: because america is brainwashed
Question: where to buy natural skin care ingredients? I need to buy beeswax, floral water, essential oils, etc to make natural skin care by my self. Where can I buy these ingredients at good price?
Answer: Herbal stores usually have that kind of stuff. If they don't have it in stock they can usually order it. You can order on the net too.
Question: What are the best all-natural skin care products? Specifically ones for anti-aging. I'm 24, and I just started using anti-aging skin care products, but they've seemed to make my skin worse! Unevenly toned and a rouch texture. Even though the products claim they fight AGAINST these things! sheesh. Anyways, someone told me its because the chemicals in them must be too harsh for my skin.
Can you recommend any truely great all-natural face wash, toner, anti-aging serum (or whatever), and moisturizer?
Answer: The Amazing Vitamin C Skin Lightening Benefits
Having a glowing looking skin requires that you have a daily skin care routine and you use the correct creams and ingredients that will make your skin look younger, whiter, lighter and bright, its known that vitamin c has potent skin lightening benefits.
To have a lighter skin you need to use ingredients that will absorb the UV rays of the sun to prevent the sun from darkening your skin and reduce production of melanin which is responsible for skin darkening.
New discoveries have shown that vitamin C has very good skin health benefits. For example vitamin C as ascorbyl form has been extensively tested, it inhibit the production of melanin, which is the pigment that produces a dark color to the skin.
When Vitamin C inhibits the production of melanin its just a matter of weeks before a brighter and lighter skin appears.
Also vitamin C increases the production of collagen and elastin in the body which reduces wrinkles and aging signs. Vitamin C repairs the skin when is injured and also regenerates vitamin E.
All those benefits of Vitamin C are great, however there have been some concerns about using vitamin C topically. Skin care companies have difficulties using vitamin C on their topical creams because vitamin C is unstable and oxidates when its exposed to the air. If vitamin C oxidates it can produce free radicals on the skin and create damage.

However there are other powerful natural ingredients that inhibit melanin and have natural whitening properties. Extrapone Nutgrass inhibits melanin, lights your skin, enhance your skin and have no harmful side effects.

Answer: It is expensive, but I have had great results with Mona Vie which is a natural product from the rain forest. My skin is very soft and since the juice is made from 19 different fruits, it is all natural. Check it out on the web and see all the different things this helps. I just started two weeks ago and have noticed a difference in skin, under eye darkness is lessening, knee joints don't hurt as much, and I have been sleeping sounder. http://www.mymonavie.com/letsdrinktoyourhealth/
I am not a distributor and that is not my web site! I posted it so that you could read some information on the juice.

Answer: It looks like it could be beneficial but I think you are missing out on some natural ingredient skin care products. My wife said to give you the article below that may be of help. It has some nice home remedy ingredients and the website that you probably should check out. I, being a man, get my natural skin care products from the same place my wife does. They really work because the ingredients are safe and natural. Anyway they can tell you much more than I can.
4 Home Remedy Ingredients for Wrinkle Smoothing
A home remedy for wrinkles is found in practically every culture in the world . What if you could find a homemade wrinkle smoother that combined the effective components of all of these remedies? Yes, you can. Just keep reading to find all 4 ingredients and how they are combined to smooth out your wrinkles.
There’s a simple reason that a different group of people would have a different home remedy for wrinkles. They used the things that grew near their homes. They didn’t have access to the entire world, as we do today.
If you lived in Japan, you couldn’t use a homemade wrinkle smoother that contained jojoba, because it only grows in the Americas. If you lived in the Americas, your home remedy for wrinkles would not contain Wakame Kelp, because it mostly grows in the Sea of Japan. You get the point.
Through scientific evaluation and clinical studies, researchers have found the active components in numerous traditional wrinkle remedies. They have combined these effective components and studied their effects on the faces of volunteers. Here’s what they’ve learned.
Olive Oil
Olive oil is a favorite homemade wrinkle smoother in Mediterranean areas. Scientific evaluation has shown that the oil is very similar to Human sebum, the skin’s natural oil. If you use olive oil designed for cooking, you may get a greasy, rather than a smooth filling. Properly formulated creams will penetrate deeply, hydrating, without causing greasiness.
Manuka Honey
Honey is a popular homemade wrinkle smoother in most areas of the world. Wherever you find bees you find honey. Over the years, honey has been used to treat everything from sore throat to skin injuries and infections.
Recent research has shown that enzymes in honey have antioxidant and antibacterial activity. It’s the antioxidant activity that allows it to reduce wrinkling and fine lines. Antioxidants repair free radical damage, the cause of wrinkling, sagging and a generally older looking appearance.
Researchers have found that manuka honey, from New Zealand, is the most active variety. Now, you can even find manuka honey bars, a natural alternative to antibacterial soaps.
Wakame Kelp
That’s the Japanese home remedy for wrinkles that I mentioned earlier. Evaluation of the kelp has shown that it is rich in the nutrients that support the skin’s health; vitamin A, many of the B vitamins and calcium for example. Further studies have shown that creams containing the kelp extract work to increase levels of hyaluronic acid, an amino acid responsible for the skin’s firmness.
Jojoba Oil
Traditional, it was used by Native Americans to heal wounds and fade scars. Eventually, it was used as a homemade wrinkle smoother, because wrinkles and scar tissue are similar. What works to fade a scar or a stretch mark, will also fade a fine line or wrinkle. The oil is rich in vitamin E, an important antioxidant for the skin’s health.
You could choose just one home remedy for wrinkles, but why not use them all. There are many other effective remedies and when combined, they become even more effective. They are also quite safe and completely natural. And now for more information on wrinkles please see the website listed below.

Answer: Alba botanica, Yes to carrot is a great orgainc skin care brands
you find at Target and CVS , Ulta.
Question: Are there any good natural skin care products that really work? I would like to find a moisturizing lotion for my face that is natural and good for my skin. I have normal to slightly dry skin. It can be somewhat sensitive to some products, but is not prone to blemishes, just sometimes a little redness or rash that goes away. Ironically, the products that will cause this are often the ones that claim to make skin younger looking.
Answer: Have you tried alcohol-free Aloe Vera? My husband and I both like it. He works outdoors and his face gets dry and chapped. The aloe has no scent and adds just the right amount of moisture and isn't greasy.
Vitamin E is sold in small bottles at local drug stores. Use that for extra moisture.
Olive Oil is also good for dry skin.
I use a simple oatmeal mask 2-3 times a week on my face.
Mix warm water or milk with small amount of quick cooking plain oatmeal. It should be a soft paste. Apply to your face and let it dry for about 10 minutes.
If it gets too dry add olive oil to the mix before applying. Moisturize with Aloe.
My face feels so soft and clean after I use it.
Hope some of these ideas help you.

Question: What are some good names for a natural skin care company? Please be creative as all the obvious ones are taken. I like System 3 Skin Care, but I think it's to long and system3.com is taken.
Answer: "Someday Soon" of course!
Question: What are good natural skin-care lines for people with sensitive skin? I currently use products from The Body Shop, but would like to branch out/use cheaper brands. However, I am concerned about my skin's reaction to products and would like to hear from others. I have used Origins, which I enjoy. My make up remover is Physician's Organic Wear. Drugstore products like Neutrogena are WAY too harsh on my skin.
Any suggestions are appreciated!
Answer: My ex girlfriend uses Allmay products. She says the same thing.I wanted to treat her to a day of beauty at Elizabeth Grady and she said all their stuff is too harsh. I got her this Lancome perfume and gift set with beauty products. She wound up throwing out the eye liner, eye shadow, mascara and make up remover because she got a bad reaction to using them.
Question: Is natural skin care such as H20 better to use than say Neutrogena facial products? I am 27 and my skin is going through some major changes. It seems to becoming more sensitve and I constantly break out around my cheek sand mouth. Proactive worked for me, but it lightned my skin too much. So now I want to find an ACNE product line that will also lightned dark acne SCARS. Please Help. Thanks...
Answer: for scars...it would probably be helpful to go see the dermatologist and get some prescription medication, you could also get other treatments for acne there
otherwise, I've heard that your skin can get addicted to Pro-activ, but some things that I've tried and that have worked are:
clean and clear
biore
avon
proactive
you can also get a benzoyl peroxide bar, which is supposed to help pimples, and i think salcylic acid (not sure of spelling) helps with some other things
but for acne in general, i don't think that water works that well, but drinking lots of water, eating healthy, and exercise could certainly help
but really, asking a dermatologist could help a lot
