Question: im a new vegan and need help with what things i need to put on my shopping list? i recently went vegan and i've been ok for the first few days but now its time to go buy food and vitamins and all that stuff to stay healthy, what needs to be added to my list?
i already have...
• Fresh fruits and vegetables
• Soy, rice, or nut milk
• Coconut milk and coconut cream
• Soy sauce and tamari
• Vegetarian stock
• Vegan margarine
• High-quality oils
• Nondairy sour cream
• Maple syrup
• Agave or brown rice syrup
• Florida Crystals
• Nutritional yeas
• Agar-agar
• Arrowroot and/or cornstarch
• Canned tomato sauce
• Staples
• Soy mayonnaise
• Soy yogurt
• Vitamins b-12 and flax seed
• Tofu and tempeh
what else do i need?
umm no i haven't had meat or a "juicy steak aka rotting flesh in your stomach eww" for 7 years, the only non-sense is you lurking on a vegan page to tell me to eat meat. thanks.
Answer: Here are some of the things that are typically found in my kitchen, though some aren't bought each and every week. And by no means am I saying all of these are healthy...
Freezer: Blue berries, broccoli, mixed vegetables, whole kernel sweet corn, extra bread/bagels/pita, ...
Fridge: Rice and/or hemp milks, broccoli, hummus, cucumber, carrots, cooked pasta/rice/quinoa/vegetables. When in season, I buy eggplant a lot. Oh, also have jam (homemade but not by me), Earth Balance ("butter"), Vegenaise ("mayo")...
Counter: Pita, wraps, normal bread, hamburger buns, bagels, ...
Cupboard: Quinoa, rice, rice noodles, pasta (linguine, elbow, spiral, shells), rice and/or hemp milks. Canned goods: Black olives, baby corn, some beans. Bagged beans. Ramen (yeah, guilty pleasure. I use my own seasonings.). Peanut butter. Potatoes. Pasta sauce. Cereal. Nuts/seeds (bought in bulk), specifically macadamia nuts, peanuts, and sunflower seeds. All raw and unsalted.
I think that's about it... In the winter months I have stuff to make a lot more warm foods, like chili and soup, but in the summer I don't care too much for warm foods.
That's what I typically eat, lol. Maybe that'll give ya some ideas.
As far as supplements, pretty much the only "supplement" I "take" is Nutritional Yeast. Oh, and I add ground flax seeds to my smoothies.
Question: vaginal odor after sex? i have battled with bacterial vaginosis in the past so i have done some major changes to hopefully prevent it. I have read many books and researched websites for this problem. I have changed my diet to no wheat or gluten, no acidity drinks, and no pickled or fermented foods. I have also been taking 30billion live probiotics daily, eating yogurt like crazy (thank god i love yogurt), plus taking daily does of l-lysine, folic acid, vitamin e, flax seed(omega-3), b-12, and vitamin c. in the last two months i have noticed that vaginal odor only after sex...so i went to my doctor. they tested me for BV and it came back negative...? so what the heck is going on with me? i am truly losing my mind... i do also have ulcerative colitis but i have not been having any problems with it. i do know that antibiotics kill off good and bad bacteria thats why i dont take it the only thing ive used for BV is the creams or gels.
Answer: After sex - protection or unprotected? If unprotected sex, could be the scent of his semen you are smelling (all people have their own unique musky scent) and maybe it doesn't mix well with your scent.
Question: vegetarian with horrible skin.. is there a connection? i'm sixteen. i've been a vegetarian since i was seven. i've had pimples since i was about 12.. yeah, maybe it's 'hormones' but i have it pretty bad (worse than any of my friends/accquaintances)- i'm the only vegetarian among us, and since i have tried everything i've ever heard for getting rid of them (cut out chocolate/greasy foods/ drink lots of water/ do a cleanse/ go off wheat/ wash face with lemon/ take antibiotics/ use prescription creams), this is the only thing i can think of.
am i lacking some kind of essential vitamin that makes my skin breakout all over, all the time? i mostly get it on my face/chest, but i also have some on my back and shoulders.
i take a vitamin B complex, omega complex with vitamin D and saint johns wort pretty regularily. anything else i can try? i'm totally disgusted by the idea of eating meat again, but maybe there's a suppplement i can take that will give me the same benefits?
i'm sick and tired of this.. its not one here and one there, it's all over and it's really lowering my self esteem. i want it to stop.
thanks so much for any input.
it's really appreciated.

Question: Is a 10 day luteal phase really safe to try and get pregnant with? My luteal phase has only been 10 days long. I chart my temps and check my CM and I feel when I ovulate so I know for sure. I had a preconception checkup with my Doctor and told her my concern about miscarriage if I get pregnant with a shorter luteal phase but she said that I shouldn't have anything to worry about. She said I've had two success full pregnancies and got pregnant right away with them so I should get pregnant quickly again once we start trying. I had normal 14 day luteal phases though when I got pregnant with my first two children though. I tried progesterone cream to help lengthen my luteal phase last cycle and it got it up to 11 days but I HATED how heavy my period was after using that so I didn't try it this cycle so I'm wondering if it had actually helped lengthen it by the one day and if I used it again this time if it would have lengthened it to 12 days... but it was only 10 days, I was so bummed this morning to wake up to my AF. I've also been taking Red Raspberry capsules and drinking the tea and also taking a flax seed oil and Vitamin B complex along with a prenatal. All of this was discussed with my doctor and is safe. But obviously it isn't helping me....just the progesterone cream possibly but the darn heavy periods are not fun.
So should I go see another doctor to try and lengthen my luteal phase before trying to get pregnant?
Answer: You can go see an alternative medicine practitioner. Fertility herbs are very effecting in supporting your body during the luteal phase. One of these herbs is Vitex. You cannot take Vitex if you take progesterone cream though.
Question: Acne Is Ruining My Life!? I've been cursed with that horrible disease known as Acne for a long time now... since I was nine, actually. It's spread from a few bumps on my forehead to giant splotches all over my chin, cheeks, nose, forehead - basically my whole face.
I wash my face when I wake up and before I go to bed. I drink 12 glasses of water each day. I make sure to get the recomended amount of Vitamin C, A, B and Zinc and Iron each day, also avoiding the sugary drinks and the chocolate sweets. I excersice regularly (God, Gym teachers aren't really giving us a choice) and I've tried all the creams under the sun. Puberty and Hormones and Genetics are what are causing it - I think - but it's starting to ruin my life. My friends have clear, perfect skin. I look in the mirror and see this... red thing staring back at me. I know problems can be much worse - I could have acne all over my back and legs and arms and such. And I try not to listen to the taunts other people throw at me. I laugh at myself if it was just a joke or walk away if they meant to be mean. I make fun of myself to my friends and goof about like that. But everytime some kid - or Myself, for that matter - is mean to me, it's like a stab to the heart.
Is there anyway to spead up the clearing? Proactive and Clean&Clear don't work (Extremely sensitive skin). All I want is suggestions for completly NATURAL things I can do that can help. Please keep in mind that as a teenager, I don't have a lot of money.
Thanks in advance!
Answer: You need to use Clear. Now from Artistry..... It works.... The best I've found... I get it at http://mrtester.ltdteam.com password beauty

Question: numbness in face, arms and body, is it MS? Hello guys, I hope some of you guys are able to help me point towards the right direction. I have a 4 week old baby and I'm breast feeding him, he's very patient and good but still i was not getting good enough sleep during the nights. Although it was not horrible, I was able to nap during the day as well. Two nights ago I had a bad migraine (I never got a migraine before), next morning when I woke up, I couldn't feel when I applied cream on my face. I have lost sensation in my face, back, arms, belly, legs, except my feet. I have all my motor skills and also I can feel warm and cold. Also I have no pins and needles sensation. No history of MS in the family. I'm 22 years old and in good health. I told my husband yesterday night, and we went to a neurologist, who did many simple tests. He gave us Vitamin B-12 pills and also Alprazolam (Xanax), which is stop panic attacks and avoid depression. I've searched the net for more than an hour, but can not find any link or person which describes my symptoms. The neurologist said its nothing serious, he said it might be lack of sleep, but then why would he prescribe Xanax, even though he knew I am breast feeding my son. Anyways, I'm not sure if I'm even posting in the right forum and what is this illness that I have? Thank you all for your time and help!!!
Answer: i worked with a girl who was 19 and was diagnosed with MS. She could barely walk her leg hurt and was completley numb. it doesnt really sound like MS but it does sound serious. I would get a second opinion
