Question: How can i find accurate weight loss information? I have broad shoulders, and rather thick bones... i'm not terribly overweight (i don't think) but everything i see seems impractical and unrealistic.
Answer: Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming,running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions,pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull,leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

Answer: This question comes up all the time on here. No they do not work. If you read small print they only claim to aid weight loss. You still have to exercise and eat healthy which works on its own. People must be made to understand, fat takes time to build up and time to lose. Its hard work but that is the penalty for overeating and eating Junk. Adverts are always Glossed up, dont be taken in.
Plenty of water to wash out your toxins, plenty of healthy
food, no salt, no sugar, no fat, no so called Diet Plans and lots of exercise to Burn off your Fat Store. Think about the time it took to gain the weight, its always quicker to lose it. * Eat whole food

Eat whole foods that are as natural as possible. When you eat whole foods that are full of nutrients your body will know how much to eat and how much not to eat. You do not have to count calories because your body is a wonderful machine.
* Eat fresh fruit
Eat at least two servings of fresh fruit every day. Choose whatever type of fruit is in season.
* Drink enough water
Drink the best weight loss supplement known to man, water. Most people do not know the difference from being hungry for food or thirsty for water. A great deal of times people eat when they should drink. Most likely you will not feel as hungry if you are getting enough water. You will be satisfying the thirst, which is confused for hunger. Water also helps you digest food better. Drinking water before you eat will help fill you up.
* Always chew your food

* Increase your physical activity
Increase your physical activity. Most people are over weight because of a lack of physical activity. Start walking more, bicycling, walks your dog for longer periods of time, swim, dance and leave the car at home when you can. It’s important that you choose a physical activity that you enjoy because you’ll stick with it.

Answer: Best piece of advice- Count Calories! Even if you were to eat nothing but chocolate all day, you need to count your calories and stay within a range. What i did when i started was estimated how much i would eat on a average day, and came to find it was way over 3,000 calories. So i cut down to 2000 calories. I then went to 1800 after a week, and then to 1700 after a month, and 1500 for each month after that. Sundays, i would eat up to 2,000 calories though and not exercise. That helped a lot.
Exercise at least 5 time per week for 30 mins minimum for a good rate of weight loss. I did 5 times a week of 50 mins and am currently doing it still. I'd say stick to under 1800 calories and then go to 1500 calories per day. Get your exercise in, stay away from fried foods as much as possible. Good luck
