Question: Weight Loss? I'm going to try out for the volleyball, softball, and tennis for extra-curricular activities for high school. Is this good for improving weight loss? If not is their any other sports I can try. Next summer I am going to do swimming. I am somewhat overweight.

Answer: any sport is good for weight loss. buildin muscle is good for raising the amount of calories you burn on a regular basis (and burns them) and doing aerobic like running or swimming burns the calories. balance your eating. eat carbs and proteins, try to avoid fats and processed foods. eat small meals several times a day to prevent your body from feelin hungry. check yourself according to your body fat and not according to the scale, you dont need to be skeletal like some of those models. pinch your skin around ur waist area, if it's thicker than 1/2 an inch then you need to lose a couple lf pounds. DONT go just by the tables because they dont take into account muscle weight and build.
