Anti-cellulite Food
Question: Home made anti cellulite treatment? Can some one tell me cheap and home made recips for anti cellulite treatment and what kind of food should i eat? I'm not over weighted, but i have fat legs.
Answer: Well it's not a home made treatment BUT.... I bought a bottle of Bio oil a few weeks ago and it has helped my cellulite no end and faded my stretch marks to almost complete invisibilty..
Refined sugar, cigarettes and caffeine are a big NO NO for cellulite.
If you cut them out of your diet, after two to three weeks you should notice a HUGE improvment!
Question: Will this help reduce the cellulite in my thighs? So this is what I'll start doing:
Do jump ropes for 15 minutes, twice a day. I'll take a shower after, then apply the Nivea anti-cellulite cream. I'll also reduce my food intake.
What do you guys think? Is there anything I should add or change?
I'd really appreciate your answers! :)
Answer: for more exercises- running, squats, leg press, lots of walking.
also you have to drink lots& lots of water so that it will increase circulation in your legs.
I've heard of an at home remedy when you mix coffee grounds and olive oil, then apply to your legs where there is cellulite. then wrap the spots in ceran (sp?) wrap and leave on over night. [its kind of messy] then in the morning, take a shower and wash it off; it should reduce the appearance of it.
also, stay away from drinking soda or anything with a lot of sugar. a lot of breads in your diet can also make the appearance of cellulite more visible.
Question: is this a good plan for losing weight? hey everyone! this year I've really made up my mind and I'm gonna lose some weight :) it's my 20th birthday gift for myself (:
so I will start when I'm done with my exams and I'm planning to do it for about 3 months
I need to lose about 35 pounds - a lot
so here it is:
2 hrs of exercise daily (intense exercise, not walking)
2 l of liquids per day (mostly water and green tea since it's good for detox and losing weight)
mainly all natural food like fruit and veggies or very little processed food like bread pasta - I'll be cooking for myself so I'll try to keep it as healthy as possible
2 main meals per day, as I usually don't eat dinner so just breakfast and lunch and 2 snacks
2 massages with anti cellulite cream per week (my bf will do these :)
and 2 days per month in which I'll eat only fruits and veggies (kind of like detox)
how do-able do you think it is and if I do it right how much do you think I'll lose? thanx (:
thanx jack it really makes me more confident about it. and I forgot to say that I'll have a maximum of 2 days per week when I won't exercise (:
Answer: A good way to lose weight is to eat healthy and exercise.
Intensive exercise is not important, what's important is that you can do active things that you enjoy. For me, it's swimming, walking and yoga. You want to do something that you will want to continue to do forever. This way, you won't get bored and you won't wear yourself out - something that helps clear the mind. If you totally enjoy intensive workouts for 2 hrs each time, have had it! - but it's not necessary to do so to lose weight.
Healthy eating involves eating what our bodies are meant to eat - plant-based foods. Meat is very bad for our health. (If you don't believe me, get you the books: The China Study by T. Collin Campbell; or Food For Life by Harvey Diamond; or The Food Revolution by John Robbins.) If you must eat meat occasionally, buy some wild-caught cold water salmon. Canned tuna and other fish are loaded with toxic heavy metals like mercury. Farm-raised fish are usually laden with toxins, as well. I'm not even going to get into other meat - what they inject them with, how they are raised, what they are fed and so on ---- that's another subject that I won't burden you with while on my soapbox! ; )
A variety of plant-based foods (mostly raw) will give you many benefits. Among them and the most popular is weight loss. This diet will naturally cleanse your body, leaving you lighter and with much more energy. Pastas and breads made with Quinoa, rice or spelt are good alternatives to unhealthy enriched white flour pastas and breads. (Some breads and pastas claim that they are whole wheat or whole whatever - read the ingredients - they almost always have white flour as an ingredient!)
When you eat a diet like this, you will not require tons of water as much is gotten in high-water-content veggies and fruits. (Unless of course, your body is wanting it from intensive exercises, if you choose to do that.) Also, a diet that is very healthy like a raw food diet, is sustainable, will help to reduce cravings, aid in detox, and have the great side effect of weight loss.
Give yourself the best gift ever - loss of weight on a good wholesome raw food diet! :)
Question: Weight/Diet/Fruit situation?!? I am on a diet.
It's a low carb diet.
No this does not mean I am eliminating my carbs.
It simply means I am cutting down from how many I usually eat.
Now.
I would like to lose weight from this.
So I went shopping for food.
Today alone, I ate a salad, blueberries, strawberries, 2 bananas, two plain chicken breasts and some celery.
That sounds like a lot but I mixed the strawberries and blueberries together.
Now, I was wondering if eating all these fruits will in a sense, 'counter-act' the goal i'm trying to reach.
As a side note, I exercise 20 minutes a day in anti-cellulite training.
I'm 160 pounds, 16 years old.
I'm only heavy because my breasts are DDD, but I have a tiny chub belly forming.
So again, will eating this much fruit basically ruin my progress?
or is it good for my diet?!
Answer: Your diet sounds healthy enough, but I'd add some more vegetables and take away one chicken breast. The fruit is not the problem, the amount of meat is. Get other types of proteins instead (not nuts, don't fall for the nut trap lol). Try some beans in your salad for more protein.
Humans don't need meat every day. So two chickens in one day is too much.
Also, just fyi, I eat way more than you. Today for example, I ate 2 madarins, 1 banana, 1 nectarine and some blueberries for breakfast, a salad of cous-cous, cucumber and radishes with lunch with 6 dried apricots for dessert at lunch time, and 3 carrots, two potatoes and a sea bass for dinner. I weigh 125lbs, am 5ft5in and 26 years old....so no, the fruit and veg won't counteract carb cutting....
Hope this helps. Good luck :)
Question: can someone please check my essay ? Outer beauty is very important to women at this day and age. Some women are blessed with it while others have to work on it to improve there outside appearance. The dreaded curse that has best ode up on millions of woman is cellulite. Whether you are thin or curvy, cellulite is a problem. Despite the dimpled appearance of cellulite there are many ways to reduce and minimize it with adequate exercise, a well balanced diet, and a few tricks of the trade massage techniques
The reduction and even elimination of cellulite can be achieved with adequate exercise. Women tend to store a high percentage of body fat in their hips and buttocks, unlike the man who pack it on their middle. For example when it comes to working out “several studies note that female, athletes who generally have a lower body fat regularly have less cellulite”. The gluteus is mostly all muscle, which responds to consistent training in order to see visible results in the minimization of cellulite. The mode of exercise that would be beneficial is aerobic, wether it is walking, running or swimming. It should be preformed three to five times a week, for at least thirty to fifty minutes. Next and perhaps the most important to ones exercise agenda is the resistance training exercise program. Resistance training targets the specific muscles that are being worked on, which encourages maximal results. If a woman want to work on her gluteus and thigh the squats, leg press and lunges are great for that.
Eating healthy is just as beneficial as exercise, to reduce access fat and eliminate the cottage cheese appearance of cellulite. Watching the caloric intake, and minimizing certain unhealthy foods. Women should reduce the consumption of coffee, fatty foods and alcohol. Cereals such as oats are high in fiber, and are an excellent source of energy. The cereals are a great source of antioxidant for fighting cellulite. For example, “ antioxidant has been shown to increase the rate that the body burns calories”. Reducing cellulite will require to built muscle, and muscles are built from protein. It is essential for woman to have a diet high in protein such as, fish, lean meat, low fat milk, egg whites and nuts. Carbohydrates go hand in hand with high protein foods includes all vegetables, salads, whole grains beads, oatmeal and fruits. So a caloric restricted diet plan to help eliminate some of the underlining body fat should be implemented.
Women workout and diet constantly to eliminate the cellulite from their body but they are only fighting half of the battle, the other half is vigorous massage. Cellulite is a hereditary condition that most if not all women have over the age of eighteen. The subcutaneous fat that causes cellulite is stored in the dermis, in order to proceed directly to the source the problem, there are several massage techniques. Using a luffa or a shower brush when teaking a bath can improve circulation, relive muscle spasm, and assist in the reducing the dimpling appearance caused by cellulite. Another anti cellulite massage is cupping. It is an ancient Chinese massage technique, which has been practiced for thousand of years. To perform the technique, “light a candle and insert it into a glass cup to create a vacuum. Quickly move the cup over to the area to be worked on, and remove the candle and invert the cup onto the body”. This form of massage, “ through suction and negative pressure, cupping releases rigid soft tissue: drains excess fluids and toxins, loosen adhesions and lifts the connective tissue and brings blood flow to stagnant skin and muscles”. Massage can fight the battle against the cottage cheese appearance of cellulite.
thank you !!!!!!

Answer: Well done! You have a strong thesis, which is half the battle. As well, your topic sentences are precise and transition effectively--good work!
You'll want to include a conclusion, of course. How might you mirror your introduction by addressing the larger issue of beauty to provide closure to your topic? When writing a conclusion, think of the question "Who cares?" to help you out.
You'll definitely need to proofread for typos and comma needs. Print out your paper and read it aloud as if you were reading to a small child. We find comma needs (pauses) when we do this because for some reason, we emphasize pauses for children. :-) You'll also catch your few typos this way.
Good work!
