Answer: I just have to say - this affliction is actually caused by negative emotions - specifically a deep resentment of authority and feeling very put upon. In fact, everyone I know who has it doesn't speak to her mother or has some other equally stressful relationship.
Please. It doesn't hurt to try visualizations. It costs nothing and takes hardly any time or effort. All you have to do is sit quietly for 3-5 minutes at a time and picture all the people in your life one at a time, smiling and happy. Really happy and at peace - see them very clearly. The ones it is hardest to do are the ones it is most important to do. Please be sure to always see yourself before you end your session - see yourself happy, comfortable, free of critcism or resentment.
If you can do this 1 or 2 times a day (or more) you could see positive results quickly. This process promotes releasing of negative emotions which will help to relax and alkalinize your body. Try it for a week or 2 and see if it doesn't help.
You can also do affirmations. Try "I am my own authority. I love and approve of myself. Life is good". Say it as much as you can. Write it as much as you can. Making this statement become your own personal truth is your ticket to the cure.
Peace!

I don't really understand it, and because this is such a serious situation, I would like to. If you could give me a website where I can read about it, or a book or something, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm worried and I would like to learn all I can so I wont have to be. thank you(:

Question: vet is recommending injections for senior dogs arthritis ,any information is welcomed?
Answer: My dog is 17 and has arthritis - he's had a few injections when he's been really bad, and they do help a lot. Most of the time he takes anti inflammatories which do a pretty good job.. he had too have a coupld of jabs over the winter tho as the cold weather really made him suffer. I wouldn't recommend the injections other than when things are eally bad for him, but once every so often is ok.
Question: Juvenile arthritis information web sites? I'm a pretty active person I enjoy working out and being outdoors (hiking, biking, hunting, etc) and my girlfriend wants to start doing some of these activities too... the problem is that she has juvenile arthritis and is limited by joint pain... I really would like for her to be able to join me but I also really don't want her to get hurt... So my question is: does anyone know any really informative websites that can help further my knowledge about how to help her? I've found a few websites but I wouldn't mind having a website that's much more specific. Also any personal advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
Answer: I have JRA as well, but I can still do many activities (I'm a very active dancer) Yes my joints hurt after TOO much activity, but I still enjoy having fun.
Your girlfriend will tell you when she starts to feel pain, but until then, just have fun with her. She knows her limits and will tell you when she's had enough, don't worry.
She also may be on a medication for her pain (such as Aleve) which minimizes the pain.
Just don't worry about her. Just plan to not spend the whole day hiking or bicycling. And tell her to make sure she tells you when she needs a break or when she wants to call it quits.

Question: I need information on taking Arthritis Acetaminophen 650mg with my high blood pressure?
Answer: Acetaminophen is used to relieve many kinds of minor aches and pains, including headaches, muscle aches, backaches, toothaches, menstrual cramps, arthritis, and the aches and pains that often accompany colds. It is suitable for control of pain following minor surgery, or for post-surgical pain after the need for stronger pain relievers has been reduced. Acetaminophen is also used in combination with narcotic analgesics both to increase pain relief and reduce the risk that the narcotics will be abused.

Question: what kind of information do you have on Rheumatoid arthritis?
Answer: Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic autoimmune disease, producing damage mediated by cytokines, chemokines, and metalloproteases. Peripheral joints (eg, wrists, metacarpophalangeal joints) are symmetrically inflamed, often resulting in progressive destruction of articular structures, usually accompanied by systemic symptoms. Diagnosis requires specific clinical, laboratory, and radiologic criteria. Treatment involves drugs, physical measures, and sometimes surgery. Drug therapy combines NSAIDs, which help reduce symptoms, and disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs, which slow disease progression.
Please see the web pages for more details on Rheumatoid arthritis.

Question: Information on Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis? Does anyone have personal or professional experince with this condition? My daughter may have it, and I would love to know what kinds of things to expect, what might happen, any information really. She has an appointment with a Rheumatologist in June.
I have read information about this on the web, I am hoping for more personalazied information. Like how quickly it can progress, what to look for , or watch for, problems or complications to prepare myself for, ect. Just something more personal than a medical description of it.
The best information I have seen on this condition is at : http://www.rheumatology.org/public/factsheets/arth_in_children.asp?aud=pat#1
Answer: I have RA, and was diagnosed at 22 (one year ago), so I wasn't classified as JRA, even though I think I had a few symptoms as a child. http://www.arthritis.org is a great resource for all types of arthritis - there is a section with information about JRA and the different types, they always keep things updated with new developments, and there is an excellent resource called "RA Connect." There is a discussion board there where there are lots of really helpful people, some with JRA and some with RA, that are happy to share their experiences and suggestions with how to cope. I suggest you make a post on that board, introduce yourself, and you will get at least 10 answers giving info and support within a day. If your daughter is old enough, I would suggest you have her visit it as well.
If I were you, I would try to move up the rheumatologist appointment if possible - it is very frustrating to wait to start therapy. I know it can be difficult to get appointments with some offices, but the sooner the better. This is a difficult disease that takes adjustment - the sooner you get a proper assesment, the sooner you will know what to expect out of life and learn how to deal with it.
It is often difficult to live with RA or JRA, but many children adapt well and live full lives. Some may also go into remission in adulthood - on the arthritis.org site there is an inspiring article about a woman who had JRA, then went on to compete in the Olympics. Also, the new biologic meds are promising. They may not be just right for your dauhghter yet, depending on age and symptoms, and your doctor will decide the best course of treatment, but I have had great relief from my RA with Enbrel. These meds are injectable, were developed specifically for RA, and may stop the joint damage as well as provide symptomatic relief. Your doctor will be a great source of info once you see him or her, but you are on the right track to getting educated about it so you can make the most of your appointments.
I really reccomend you visit the arthritis.org site and discussion board - you will get all the scientific information, but it is really the best place to find personal stories and support.
I hope your daughter has luck with her treatment!

Question: I have a male chihuahua who is 8 years old he has arthritis in his back does any one have information? The vet gave him Rimadryl for pain but on cold rainy days this is not enough to help. He is like my child I have no kids of my own Please help with any sort of information homeopathic or anything else availiable that might help Thankyou
Answer: Rimadyl is the usual arthritis medication most vets start with. If it's not helping as much as you'd like, there is a stronger anti-inflammitory medication called Medicam that is a liquid and is dosed according to weight. I had a 9yr old beagle that had to have his hip replaced due to arthritis, and they also started him on Rimadyl, but after I told them it didn't seem to be keeping him comfortable, they put him on the Medicam oral liquid. Good luck to you and your baby!
