Benefits Of Fish Oil

Question: Can I drink liquid fish oil with water without ruining the benefits of the fish oil? I drink a teaspoon of a liquid fish oil supplement ever day. I find just swallowing the teaspoon of oil a little foul. I know if I pour it into water it'll just float on the top but i still find it a lot easier to swallow like that because there's so much liquid I barely notice the oil. But would this dilute the effect of the fish oil in any way? Would it still work properly? Thanks!

Answer: Water should be fine. Although when taking omega 3 supplements it is best to take with some fat. So take it after eating som ekind of fatty food. You should switch to a flavored fish oil. I take Carlson's lemon flavored and it tastes just fine. Also 1 time I accidentally bought normal flavored - which is "fish" flavored. I found that eating a couple of grapes after taking the "shot" of fish oil. It helped a lot. I would consider taking another type of omega 3 supplement. Fish oil caplet or krill oil caps. No horrible tastes and all the benefits.
