Benefits Of Green Tea Extract
Question: does green tea extract have the same health benefits of drinking actual green tea (from bags)?
Answer: yes
Question: green tea benefits? what are the benefits of drinking green tea/taking green tea extract capsules?
Answer: they are good for weight loss and clear skin
Question: How many milligrams of caffeine are in 150 milligrams of green tea extract? I asked this question before and got no clear answer, just a lot of mumble jumble about the benefits of green tea. I KNOW the benefits of green tea. What I don't know is what 150 milligrams of green tea extract converts to in terms of how much caffeine it contains. Please address the question, not the benefits of green tea, which I already know. Thanks!
I take vitamins that have 150 milligrams of green tea extract in them, and I don't know what that translates to in caffeine milligrams. Does anyone out there know?
Answer: Many green tea extract nowadays have no caffeine in it, so it might be caffeine free. An 8-oz. cup of green tea contains about 25-30 mg of caffeine
The botanical extract in Mega Green Tea Extract has been concentrated and dual standardized to ensure the highest quality, consistency, and biological activity. Each serving contains a small amount of caffeine (max. of 3.6 mg). Since one cup of decaffeinated tea contains at least 9 mg of caffeine, the amount of caffeine in this supplement will most likely not induce a stimulating effect.
That's all I could find.
Question: Meta Slim Green Tea Extract Weight Management Pills? I've just begun taking green tea extract pills for the purpose of weight loss. The benefits aren't desrcibed well in the labels, so I'm curious as to in what ways do these pills assist in weight loss? What exactly do they do physically? Any information would be appreciated, Thank You.
Answer: The theory is that when you ingest green tea with a meal, it inhibits the absorption of fat in the food you're eating. It won't help you lose weight that you already have. It is a good supplement to your diet (I prefer to drink the tea instead of taking a pill) but it is not recognized by the FDA for weight loss. I hate to say it, but if you're not also working out, you should not see any weight loss.
Question: Spring Valley Antioxidant Support Green Tea Extract 150 Mg? Drinking green tea has helped me burn more calories. But I only enjoy the taste of certain green teas & don't have the money to buy it daily. Would taking these give me the same benefits as drinking the tea?
Answer: Green Tea is a product that has been growing in popularity for a couple years now. Typical of ancient herbs from the Chinese culture, Green Tea is loaded with healthy nutrients like antioxidants that will give you energy, assist with weight loss, and fight a number of diseases.
Now we have an even better product called Enhanced Green Tea. Just 1 serving of Enhanced Green Tea contains as much nutrients as 1 gallon of brewed green tea.
Studies suggest that green tea extract may boost metabolism and help burn fat. One study confirmed that the combination of green tea and caffeine improved weight loss and maintenance in overweight and moderately obese individuals. Some researchers speculate that substances in green tea known as polyphenols, specifically the catechins, are responsible for the herb's fat-burning effect.
The benefits of green tea are numerous. In fact, if you were to go to PubMed.com and do a search for green tea, you'd find over 2,000 studies performed on green tea and its components (eg, EGCG, theanine, vitamin E, etc...).
Possible benefits are being investigated for weight loss, cancer prevention, antioxidant activity, cognitive enhancement, general good health and well being... and the list goes on and on.
You can order a free trial of Enhanced Green Tea from the source link below. So far all I've heard is that the Enhanced Green Tea supplement is helping people to feel great. It provides more energy and antioxidants than you would normally get from drinking cups of tea all day.
Question: Caffeine content of green tea extract? I know that green tea has caffeine. I know that a cup of green tea has roughly a third of the caffeine in a cup a coffee. But, what I need to know is, if a serving of green tea extract is about equivalent to drinking 15 cups of green tea (in the sense of polyphenols and whatever other benefits) - do you also get 15 times the caffeine? Because that sounds really scary!
Answer: If you can't find the answer online (I assume you tried because I googled the question myself and couldn't find the answer anywhere), then I guess you will have to ask at a health food store.
I think they remove some of the caffeine in the filtering process of the extract, but I'm not sure, sorry.
Question: Green tea liquid extract? How much should I mix with a bottle of water to get the full benefits that green tea offers. What mean is that though green tea offers countless positive effects, one need to drink between 10-20 cups a day. That is what I mean but for the green tea that comes in the liquid extraction form that you mix with water. Thanks in advance.
Answer: research is still being done to see the exact amount needed.
Question: Green Tea Extract Pills.? I've just begun taking green tea extract pills for the purpose of weight loss. The benefits aren't desrcibed well in the labels, so I'm curious as to in what ways do these pills assist in weight loss? What exactly do they do physically? Any information would be appreciated, Thank You.
Answer: I strongly recommend that you DRINK green tea instead. It is cheaper and much more effective than the pill extracts. Green tea cures even cancer. How? Very simple. It gets rid of the toxins in your body. Check the internet for the properties of green tea and you will see.
So if you are careful about what you eat and drink green tea you will lose weight. Try a large bowl of Quaker oat in the morning with fresh squeezed grape juice before and you will have your colon functioning like a clock. This is necessary for cleansing your whole system. Don't eat bread or junk stuff -chocolate etc..
Good luck.
Question: Is this Green Tea 10,000mg extract even legal? I love my Green Tea but I find it difficult to get around the required 6-8 cups daily for optimal health. I've been researching online and have found a 300mg extract which equivalent to 4-5 cups of tea: http://www.reflex-nutrition.com/en/fat-loss/polyphenols/green-tea.php
and I've also come across a 10,000mg! extract as well : http://www.troohealthcare.com/dietary-supplements-96/anti-oxidants-67/green-tea-extract-20-1-extract-500mg-10-000mg-90-capsules-744.html. Is 10,000mg even legal? Wouldn't that have a shocking amount of caffeine in it, and wouldn't that be like 50 cups of tea in one capsule? Or would it benefit me more because it is extremely more richer in antioxidants? Any advice will be helpful, thank you!
Answer: its probably not good for you accounting all of those caffine amounts
Question: Benefits of vanilla extract? So I put about a teaspoon and a half of vanilla extract into green tea with a little sprinkle of cinnamon. Question: Purity Products; Does their phytonutrients multivitamin formula really work? Purity Products advertises their phytonutrients multivitamin formula on the radio and was wondering if anyone can comment as to it's efficacy. PP claims that it's formula does what regular multivitamins can't because it contains various sources of antioxicants from fruits and vegetables like blueberries, raspberries, cranberries, spinach, kale, green tea extract and others. Among it's benefits it claims to enhance immunity, heart & vision health, memory recall and energy levels. Just looking for a little feedback from those who've used this product. Your response will be greatly appreciated. Thanks...
Answer: Hi, I used PP over a year ago and the results were not that good. I did a little research and found out some interesting facts. According to the independant clinical trials on PP it suggests that it will do some of what is suggested but no better than most of the leading brands of multivitamins/shakes etc. It goes on to say that the PP formula is hard to break down in the avergae persons system and that a lot of the anitoxidants and vitamins cannot be absorbed as they pass through the body too quickly. The trials relate that the best products for vitamin/nutrient/antioxidant and rotein absorbtion are the shapeworks ones. I have since switched and I have noticed a big difference over the last few months in my overall health. I would recommend the shapeworks ones, they are as the trials suggested the best on the market. I get my from www.myhealthabc.net, I also get great free advice on any health related matters that I may have. The mall area is full of really useful information. I havent been ill or off work since using the new products over the last 7 or 8 months. I hope this helps.
Question: Is this a balanced healthy diet? This is similar to how I usually eat.
A banana
3 tangerines.
a bowl of pineapple
cup of carrot juice
cup of celery juice
a tablespoon of organic Apple Cider Vinegar (for health benefits)
Pills:
Vitamin D3
Vitamin C
Fish Oil
Odorless Garlic Pill
---Green Tea Extract
Cranberry Pill
Ginger Pill
(Ran out of Vitamin B12..must get today and take! :o)
I had a spoon full of vegan chocolate chip cookie because I got tempted after making them :p
Later I will most likely have a bowl of broccoli, some spinach,
and then a bowl of strawberries.
^-^ and I've been drinking tea with cinnamon in it all day, because lately that's been my obsession. Plus I heard cinnamon aids in the digestion process. :)
and I'm going to have MORE BANANAS LATER, love emm, lol ..and maybe an apple
Answer: Sounds yummy & healthy. You probably are already aware of this, but fish oil (even in pill form) isn't vegetarian or vegan, but it can be easily replaced with flax seeds or flax seed oil. If you happen to have a dehydrator, making veggie chips with flax seeds would be really good. Here's a recipe:
Garlic Flax Crackers
These crackers are great for making sandwiches! Place a nut or veggie burger in between two crackers with some lettuce and sliced tomatos and you have a delicious, filling meal!
Garlic Bulb I like to score the mixture with a knife once I flip them over. This makes them easier to break into crackers once dried.
Ingredients:
* 2 cups flax seeds
* 1/4 cup Braggs Liquid Aminos
* 1 lemon, juiced
* 1 Tbsp garlic powder
Directions:
1. Soak flax seeds in 4 cups distilled water for 30 minutes or more.
2. Strain lightly through a cheese cloth or nut milk bag and add back to bowl. You don't have to get all the liquid out, just the excess. It should still have a gel like consistency.
3. Add the remaining ingredients.
4. Spread onto Teflex lined dehydrator trays. Dehydrate at 115 degrees F for about 4 hours. Flip the sheets over and remove the liners. Dehydrate for an additional 4 hours or until crisp.
Question: im taking alot of supplements for weight loss, and muscle building. can taking to many supplements hurt me? im pretty positive everything in the individual supplements is fairly safe. im not taking any brand names, all pure subtances, such as arginine, carnitine, CLA, green tea extract, forskolin, BCAAs, multi vitamin, calcium, selenium, caffeine, sesamin, tyrosine, beta alanine, glutamine, creatine, protein, ZMA, fish oil, beta alanine, melatonin, 5-HTP, probiotics, digestive enzymes and fiber. i can find plenty of information detailing the dangers and benefits of each kind of supplement. but nothing addressing the dangers of taking so many pills and powders all at the same time. it comes out to over 80 servings of pills or powders a day. im just wondering what kind of effects this can have on me. i feel normal. alittle fuller than usual. but i definitely feel stronger and more energetic and im losing weight. i lift 6 days a week. cardio 4 days a week and i box, and im on a full 6-7 meals a day, 2300 calorie diet thats very high in protein. so i was wondering if this was dangerous?
Answer: Yes, it can hurt you. For example, your body produces most of the amino acids that your body uses, save 8, however, if you suppliment your body with amino acids that your body makes such as Levo-Carnitine, then your body no longer makes it and eventually you have to suppliement your body with all of these nutrients. That by the way is what these companies are hoping for, to keep them in business.
Question: Would this work to help with acne and acne scars? #2? Key Ingredients:
Vitamin A is important for the prevention of night blindness and other eye problems, as well as some skin disorders, such as acne. It is also important in the formation of bones and teeth. Numerous other benefits include maintenance and repair of epithelial tissue, of which skin and mucous membranes are (1) composed, protection against infections, and antioxidant cell protection.
Vitamin B Complex: Eight different nutrients make up the Vitamin B Complex: Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Pantothenic Acid, Pyridoxine, Cyanocobalamin, Biotin, and Folic Acid. Though grouped as a family, they each perform unique and separate functions, which include enhancing the metabolic rate by breaking down fats, carbohydrates and protein for energy, and maintaining healthy nerves, skin, eyes, hair, liver, and brain function. They are important for heart health and are an effective aid in lowering cholesterol. B-complex vitamins also act as coenzymes, helping enzymes to react (2) chemically with other substances.
Vitamin C is critical for numerous metabolic functions, including tissue growth and repair, glandular functions, and healthy gums. It aids in the production of anti-stress hormones and interferon (an immune- system protein), and it can combine with toxic substances, such as certain heavy metals, and render them harmless so they can be eliminated from the body. Vitamin C works synergistically with Vitamins A and E; that is, when working together, they have a greater effect than the sum of their individual effects. Supplementation of this vitamin is critical, as the body cannot manufacture it.(3)
Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin required for absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus. It is especially important for the growth and development of bones and teeth. It protects against muscle weakness and aids in heartbeat regulation.(4)
Lutein is an important antioxidant for eye and skin health. Research also suggests that Lutein found in blood serum may be linked with less thickening of arterial walls.(5)
Lycopene is a phytochemical found to reduce the risk of prostate and lung cancer. With correct dosages, Lycopene may also reduce the risk of digestive cancers.
Astaxanthin eases arthritis and joint pain, sore muscles, and protects against heart disease. It is a potent antioxidant derived from micro algae. Because it crosses the blood/brain barrier, it offers oxidative protection for the nervous system.
Zeaxanthin protects cells in the eyes from free radical damage, which may reduce the risk of macular degeneration.
Alpha Lipoic Acid is a powerful antioxidant that aids in protecting the liver and pancreas.(6)
Green Tea Leaf Extract is used to lower cholesterol levels, stimulate the immune system, and regulate blood sugar and insulin levels.
Amino Acid Complex important for metabolic functions, such as helping the brain receive and send messages. Facilitates the absorption and assimilation of vitamins and minerals by the body.
Herbal Energy Blend (Peppermint leaf, Rhodiola rosea root, Eleuthero): Promotes stress-relieving effects for added energy, which contribute to immune system enhancement. Also aids in digestion.
Answer: dont forget about vitamin E!
it's what your skin produces to help heal itself so if you can find vitamin E oil or some kind of moisturizer with vitamin E it will seriously benefit your skin :)

Answer: I think that all those things are just a good mix for you. I'm guessing you had very low testosterone levels and the Tribulus Terrestis raised them. The Muira Puama is a natural aphrodisiac. The ginseng gives you energy. All that leads to feeling better and having a more positive outlook. I'm glad you are reaping the benefits
