Benefits Of Natural Vitamins
Question: Remedies/ vitamins/ natural ways to help skin (acne, luminosity, etc)? I was wondering if anyone knew of any natural ways to benefit skin. I was hoping to find something natural to help with acne because I can't find anything over the counter that works. I'd like to avoid a skin doc if I can. I've tried vit e and exposure to natural sunlight. I heard both helped but I didn't see any difference. In fact, after taking a nutrition class in my college, I realized I was taking like 3300% the daily recommended value of vit e and it doesn't even have benefits for your skin! Can someone think of an herbal product or food or something I can try? Right now, I'd be willing to try just about anything.
Answer: One thing you can do is to take a 400 IU softgel of Vitamin E, then CAREFULLY poke a hole in it. Squeeze out the oil and spread it out evenly onto the affected area. If you have more than one area that's been affected, spread out the amount that's used evenly to each area, as too much vitamin E can build up to toxic levels in your body.
Swallowing Vitamin E doesn't help as much for your skin as applying it topically... but it still helps. You can also try putting Aloe Vera on to soothe the tissue.
Also, if you would like more benefits, there are some supplements you could take internally to help the health of your skin. Some of the most popular ones are Biotin, Silica (commonly from Horsetail), Squalene, Hyaluronic Acid, MSM, L-Cysteine, Collagen, and most antioxidants.
Good luck!
Question: Is there anyplace I can buy vitamins,Natural Herbs and know I am actually getting quality product? Seriously!? Right now I take Fish oil omega 3 . I buy it at Wal-Mart but I am not sold on the quality of what I am paying for. I mean if I am going to take the stuff, then I want to make sure I am getting the actual benefits . I dont want to be taking some bottom of the barrel low grade crap that I dont know about.
Answer: The vitamins, supplements and remedies I get are all available online for a good price at http://www.iherb.com (not affiliated). They carry quality brands that you can trust but the prices are better than typical health food stores who carry the same thing. What I really like about iHerb is they put the labels online so you can read the ingredients, formulations, etc. It's better than a trip to the health food store! It never hurts to check into the individual brands either.
For you fish oil, try Carlson's brand. At iHerb it is about 1/2 price of health food stores. It is tested free of metals and very good. It actually doesn't taste too bad either.
Specific brands we use and trust are Natural Factors, Garden of Life, Schiff, Enzymedica and Gaia (you won't find Gaia at iHerb). There are other high quality, reputable brands too. Those just seem to be the ones we gravitate too when deciding.
You are right to question the quality of what you buy. Best to you in your quest for optimum health.
Question: Question about natural Vitamin D absorption...? I work indoors, and I do not work near a window, but I can go to my break area which DOES have windows and has plenty of sunlight when it is not raining. My question is, if I sit by the windows with the sunlight coming in, will I get the vitamin d benefits from the sun, or will the glass prevent this from occurring? I feel like I am asking a dumb question, but it is the only way to get an answer.
Thank you.
Answer: yes, the receptors in the skin will be activated to convert uv rays into vitamin D (occurs in the liver/kidneys) through glass. vitamin D is becoming increasingly deficient in the western world and therefore it is vitally important you get some sunlight every day.
Question: Why are vitamins that have been used worldwide for centuries not evaluated and approved by the FDA in the US?? Europe, China and India have used herbal treatment for thousands of years & their pharmacies carry herbal medicines. Herbs like Ginko Biloba, which has had over 300 tests done in german and france, are prohibited in the US from being marketed as medicines and cant claim any illness fighting properties on the label. Why is it that the FDA isnt willing to consider safer, more natural medicines, but spends decades approving drugs which turn out to be harmful, with ridiculous side effects and later sometimes have to be recalled? Can anyone answer this, why are vitamins and natural herb supplements not considered to have medical benefits by the FDA????
Answer: Wow... there's a LOT of misinformation out there. There are a lot of conspiracy theorists out there that say it's because the doctors here want to keep you a little sick so you'll keep coming back, and some that say it's only about the money and the government doesn't really care about people.... but I'm just going to cover facts, not suspicions and theories.
The actual reason that the FDA won't approve them is because they don't produce the same results in as many people as drugs do.
The reason for that is because different people respond differently to different supplements.... and that's really because supplements work to help the CAUSE of a problem, while drugs work to help the SYMPTOMS of a problem.
If you wanted to take something for lowering Cholesterol (as an example), you could take a drug that will specifically lower your Cholesterol.
On the other hand, you could try one of a few supplements that give nutritional benefits that may help the problem that's causing your Cholesterol to be high. If the increase in Cholesterol is caused by something that the first one doesn't help, it won't help. If you don't know the cause of the problem, it's hard to find the natural supplement that would help it.
...Here's the kicker.... the way that drugs work is that they literally turn off some natural process in your body to reach a desired result. In the same example of Cholesterol, those drugs turn off the part of your body that makes Cholesterol. Now, in theory, that may sound like a good way to do it, but your body NEEDS some level of Cholesterol.... just turning that off creates a lot of problems.
THAT is the reason that drugs have SOOOO many side effects, while supplements only have most side effects from allergic reactions and some medical conditions or drugs that may interact with it (which isn't the supplement itself).
Most other countries actually see the horrible side effects from drugs and the very minimal side effects from supplements, so they make supplements more common and educate their doctors. Their doctors in turn can look at the causes of problems and actually know what will help the problem from a natural source. Some might say that's because those governments pay all the health care and want it to be cheaper.... but that's another theory ;-)
Question: are centrum vitamins good for you? are they natural or mostly synthetic? Do they get absorbed by your body? Lots of people are into health and fitness and getting into shape and eating greens and lots of people I know are supplementing themselves with multivitamins like centrum of GNC or Puritan Pride per se , but are they really good for you, What is it that we should look for ? are they really absorbed by our systems or are they going down the toilet together with your urine without any benefit at all? Which ones are really worth ingesting ,anyone with any medicine based answers? Thank you. CG.
Answer: Centrum vitamins are junk. Sorry to tell you that. In fact, people who take multivitamins statistically live shorter lives than those who don't. The actual number is 5% in the study.
There is a very good reason for this. Synthetic vitamins are just chemical activators, not vitamins. In nature, vitamins and minerals are packaged in food with "co-factors" that are integral to the vitamins to make them work in your body. If the food is grown in good fertile soil, it will contain the vitamins with the co-factors. If they are made in a laboratory, they are made as "single elements" that have no cell resonance. A good example of this is the Centrum "B" vitamins are made from the petroleum distillate, Coal Tar. These are dead chemicals that your body will recognize as toxins. It does take the body a short time (a few days to a few weeks) to reject them completely, so they have an effect for a few days, but then damage your DNA of each cell. When the DNA is damaged, it shortens your life; simple as that.
Additionally, ALL pills contain Magnesium Stearate that is a "Trans FAT," immune suppressant, and inhibits the absorption of nutrients into the body by up to 80%. They always put about 5% of the total milligrams in the bottle (you have to add them up). So if you have 1,000 milligrams in the bottle, 50 milligrams will be this trans fat. Additionally, they all use talc to make the pills. This is a carcinogen. There are other excipients they put in that are just as bad for you.
The time to dissolve is important as well. Typically it takes them about 45 minutes to dissolve. That generally means that the bulk of the pill goes into your intestines and does not break up in your stomach. Since you need to have fat in your diet to digest the fat soluable vitamins, most of those fat soluable vitamins do not get digested.
They use ascorbic acid in Centrum and call it vitamin C, but it isn't. Same issue, ascorbic acid is a single element and it ends up extracting the co-factors from your body to make an attempt to complete the complex as found in nature. Ascorbic Acid won't even cure scurvy. It also depletes your body of calcium.
The calcium in that garbage is of very low, poor quality and generally ends up as toxic to the body being dumped into bone spurs, cataracts, or kidney stones.
If you look at about 97.5% of all vitamins, health food stores are no exception, they all contain junk and most are of the poor grade 1 or 2 herbs and many are not mixed properly with the right combination of ingredients and most of the so called natural vitamins are fortified with synthetic chemical activators to boost the potency.
GNC, Centrum, Puritan Pride, are all the same garbage. If you ask them to give you a professional lab test that shows how much of the garbage is digested when you take them, they won't do that and would be ashamed to see how much just does not get into your body.
This is why food is your best source of vitamins and minerals, but only if grown in fertile soil. The chemical fertilizers used on farms and insecticides have reduced the nutrient content by over 25% in the last 25 years and the antioxidant content is down by 50% in the last 25 years.
IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO BE HEALTHY IN AMERICA TODAY.
If you want to see the benefit pills are giving people, just ask your local sewer disposal plant to show you all the pills they find or just take some "B" vitamins and look at your yellow urine to know what your body thinks of them. It's all junk. Medications are no better. They contain the same magnesium stearate, talc, and excipients as vitamins. All this stuff creates lots of free radicals in the body. Quantum Physics experiments done in Germany have photographic proof of what synthetic chemical activators do and how vitamins provided in nature work like they are supposed too.
Just look around at the genetically engineered foods now that are not labeled (thank you FDA) that do not allow you to trace where they came from if you get sick from them, and many people are getting sick. Every other country in the world labels GMO foods and people are rejecting them for good reason.
I have found only one company in my practice that makes and sells supplements that have good cell resonance and NO excipients and grade 10 herbs. By the way, they really do work as well. That can be found at: (800) 370 - 3447 and they will ship to you.
CorelPainterfriedmybra -- sorry, but those vitamins from that company may be only slightly better than the others. If you do QRA testing on them, you will find they have NO cell resonance and your body will not use them well. Try the company I suggested and I think you will see a huge difference. The best way to go is to be tested to find out what vitamins and minerals your body needs specific to you. When you get tested, you will know what will work and how much you need. It takes all the guesswork out of the process. Find a good Certified Nutritional Therapist in your area and they can help you.
good luck in your search for health
Question: Are there any studies related to the benefits of Vitamin E (Tocopherol or Tocopheryl) from "natural" sources? By "natural", I mean botanical sources.
As a health-conscious consumer, I've been trying to find skin and haircare products free of harmful chemicals (ewg.org has been a very helpful tool). EWG illustrates how some ingredients, such as "Vitamin E" (aka "Tocopherol" or "Tocopheryl") has a contamination concern ("HYDROQUINONE" - a highly toxic substance with a score of 10, the highest EWG hazard score!).
Unfortunately, most products (for skin, hair, and even babies) contain Vitamin E. So, I contacted a reputable/high-end baby product manufacturer regarding the contamination concern (i.e., When can it happen? How can it can be prevented, if at all?) Their response: It may occur during manufacturing process (NOT post-production). Plus, they "claim" it does NOT apply to botanically-derived Vitamin E.
An EWG rep informed me that this "claim" cannot be proven. I followed up with manufacturer (twice), asking for any studies that would prove their claim, but they never replied.
Answer: not that I know of either
Question: Health benefits of drinking ejaculation? So 60% of it is made up of seminal vesicle which is made up of protein, Vitamin C and enzymes which in part contain proteins and amino acids which is great for your metabolism. Its also great for your skin being rich in Vitamin E and natural moisturizers that give skin a glow. So having a little every day is actually quite beneficial in many areas.
Think you'll add it into your daily routine?
Answer: All body fluids are made up from water, enzymes, proteins, and/or amino acids. You'll get more benefits from taking a vitamin everyday.... and less risk of getting herpes. I'm gonna pass and I think you should too.
Question: Acai/Goji Alternative/ Looking for natural energy supplement with extra health benefits? I have tried Acai juice and it did give me a nice fresh natural feeling energy boost I needed, my mind also felt very alert. But that stuff is EXPENSIVE. I'm looking for something in the same category. Basically a NATURAL energy supplement (doesn't have to be liquid, open to capsules, but I hate powders) that will give me nice energy without making me feel nervous. Something that will help me with mental clarity too.
I take a B vitamin complex and other vitamins by the way, and I'm still ready to take a nap anytime of the day. Please Help!
Answer: You could try 600-1000mg of phosphitidylserine and 2000mg of acetyl l'carnitine everyday. It is for cognitive enhancement, weightloss, lowers cortisol levels, which is good for stress and weightloss.
Maca is another supplement that you could take it is from south america and is a tuber root that is dried and ground into a powder. You can take it in or smoothies just mix with water or juice, whatever you want. It is good for the brain, it balances hormone levels and gives you energy. I take both of these. It has a high vitamin and mineral content. i purchase the kilo from this company www.macaweb.com
the other supplements I purchase from vitacost which is a discount supplement website. One of the best brands is Yarrow, but phophatidylserine is really expensive but from this website you can get it real cheap. They have a bottle of it for $33 and you get 120 capsules 1000mg which would last about 4 months. The acetyl l'carnitine is cheap but it is real good also. Take this combination and you wont regret it. I would have mentioned the coq10 but that is expensive also, but worth it. If you choose to do this shop around for the best price. These things have helped me out a lot and are excellent for brain clarity, memory and recall.

Question: How do I take all of these vitamins? Hello everybody
I'm 24 years of age and I'm thinking on starting to take antioxidants supplements. For expample I bought Vitamin C 500mg, Vitamin E 400UI natural (heard 200UI it's better cause too much of vitamin E can cause stroke or smething), and Calcium which comes with VItamin D and Magnesium....The question is... How do I take all of these supplements? all of them at once? or I have to wait for different times to take them?
Also my father is a heavy smoker,, do you think he would benefit from these antioxidants? he doesnt eat that well, you know, fast food very often......
thank you everybody...
Answer: I don't think it really makes a difference when you take them, but be careful. Too much of anything (even vitamins & antioxidants) is bad for you. I read a recent study saying that too many antioxidants can lead to heart disease or heart failure. So just make sure you don't take too many, or check with your doctor first.
Question: What health benefits are in cherries? I eat a lot of cherries, so Id like to know who kind of vitamins and nutrients I am getting from them. Anyone know? What are they good for? I guess because they are so sweet and tasty they must have a lot of natural sugars in them, and therefore not be great to eat all the time..? Thats just a guess tho.
Any info would help.
Thanx!

Answer: Cherries have recently been termed a "super fruit" due to their overwhelming nutritional benefits. Research has shown that cherries provide many health benefits due in large part to their high levels of antioxidants. Cherries are convenient to store and enjoy all year long.
There are two types of cherries -- sweet cherries, which are most commonly seen at the grocery store, and tart cherries, also known as sour cherries. Cherries contain beta carotene, vitamin C, iron, magnesium, fiber, and potassium, along with a very high concentration of antioxidants. Tart cherries have more vitamin C and beta carotene with fewer calories, so they are recommended most often for the health benefits of cherries, though both provide nutritional benefit.
One of the main health benefits of cherries is emerging research that shows cherries can help to prevent some cancers. This is because of the antioxidants found in cherries; these are made up of anthocyanins and quercetin, which are flavonoids, and the phenolic acid amygdalin. Cherries have also been shown to reduce pain and inflammation from rheumatoid arthritis and gout.
Some researchers cite other health benefits of cherries. These include the ability to help promote weight loss, prevent diabetes and heart disease, lower cholesterol, and even help regulate sleep and prevent memory loss. Many people greatly enjoy the taste of cherries, and find they make a great snack in the afternoon rather than greasy chips or a sugary candy bar because they provide a natural boost of energy.
The health benefits of cherries can be gleaned from consuming the fruit in many different forms. Cherries can be eaten fresh, or they can be made into a juice. Cherries can also be frozen, dried or canned, and still retain much of their inherent nutritional value. Cherries will stay fresh for about a week in the refrigerator and a up to a year in the freezer.
It is easy to add cherries into your everyday eating habits. You might drink a glass of cherry juice with breakfast, or add some cherries into your morning cereal or oatmeal. Try adding cherries to salad or yogurt for lunch, or snack on them right out of the bag. Putting them in your child's lunch box is another good idea, but you will probably want to chop them up and remove the pit so they are easier to eat and don't create a choking hazard. If you enjoy trail mix, adding dried cherries can sweeten it up. It is not difficult to find ways to incorporate cherries into your everyday life.
Question: Does anyone know of a helpful vitamin or natural pill to balance an OCD or moodswings? I dont want any Rx pill names just names of medicines at a health food store that can benefit an OCD and balance behavioral changes....know of any???
Answer: a friend of mine gave me SAM-E before because of my mood swings.. try it, it has serotonin to enhance your mood. its like a vitamin/mineral supplement. about OCD, i don't know any supplement, only the rx name.
Question: Is a health smoothie and fresh juice shop a good business to open? I am thinking about opening a "health" smoothie shop using all natural organic fruits, vitamins and fresh squeezed juices. No preservatives or processed ingredients will be used. I have researched the healthiest ways to create natural vitamins and flavors with no crushed ice or syrups. It will be marketed towards health conscious people and we will educate people on the benefits of supplements added. Unlike a jamba juice which uses crushed ice, fruit syrups packed with sugar and sherbert ice cream, these will actually be healthy for you. It will contain a wifi lounge with comfortable seating in the heart of a downtown area. We will also serve fresh squeezed organic juices such as orange, lemonade, carrot and others with healthy snacks for purchase. Is this something people would be interested in? Please give me some feedback, thanks!
Answer: I would say YES, and anyone that says no is not health conscious...
I make my own smoothies every morning with just frozen fruit and yummy protein powder, and water. They're so delicious. I hate when I don't have enough time in the morning to make one, and then I have to stop at Jamba. I like that they offer choices that are low cal, but from what your describing, I would rather stop at your smoothie place!
Good Luck!!
Question: what are some natural skin supplements to improve skin ? so i wanted to know if there are any natural skin supplements that i can take ? like for instance, vitamin or antioxidant capsules?
if so, what can benefit my skin?
& is it better to just break open the capsules & apply it directly to my skin, instead of taking it orally?
thanks<3
Answer: If it is meant to be taken orally, take them orally. That way they'll be absorbed into your system and be dispersed evenly. If you break them and apply them to your skin, they might evaporate before they can do anything good. Vitamin E is very good for your skin. It has healing powers and is a natural substance that can heal acne. They sell vitamin E oil for your skin and also supplements to be taken orally too. Go to a Target or CVS pharmacy and search for them in the vitamin aisle in the pharmacy. Target tends to be cheaper than Rite-aid or Savons, etc
Green tea is also very good for your skin. It removes toxin and helps prevent acne by fighting bacteria and infections in your body and give you clear skin. It also help with weight problems too, so that's a plus
Question: Do you believe that much of our chronic illness is due to lack of nutrition? Though an aging population can be expected to have increases in chronic illness, we are seeing increases in chronic illness in all age groups. Many believe that lack of proper nutrition plays a major role. Besides our unhealthy SADs diet, the minerals in our soils have been severly depleted thanks to overfarming. Plus, our much of our processed foods lon the grocers shelves have had much of their natural nutrition processed out and additives processed in for shelf life, taste, color and texture. When processed foods are "fortified", it is mostly done with petro-chemical synthetic and coal-tar derivative synthetic vitamins and "crushed rocks" for the minerals (as opposed natural vitamins with the entire vitamin profile and absorbable minerals already digested by plants).
Study after study has linked chornic illness to vitamin and mineral deficiency (such as magnesium and Vitamin D, to name only two.
If you do believe that a great deal of chronic illness is due to nutrition deficiency, do you think that supplementation with good whole food derived vitamins, minerals and other nutrients would be a wise thing to do?
Note: This question was reported and deleted earlier for some technicality or another, the same as was a question asking about GMOs being harmful. So, rather than have a technicality silence free speech here, I am reposting it so that others have the benefit of seeing the question and the answers.
Note to Rhianna: I blocked you initially because I was trying to remove you from my "fans" list. I have found others in the past add me as a contact just so they track my questions and answers and refute anything I had to say.
You are unblocked as I do not intend to silence anyone (much as I might like to - lol). In fact, I have a grand total of two blocked users - both of which were druggies who were sending me hate messages.
Now, regarding silencing people - I am finding myself getting my questions and answers reported left and right and I am certain it is not due to some technicality but rather because some do not like what I ask and answer. Shame!
Everyone has a right to share their knowledge and opinions. And we should be able to do it without insults and uncalled for putdowns.
Now, to your post: Nowhere have I said that ALL chronic illness is due to deficiencies in nutrition. On the other hand, no chronic illness is due to a deficiency in pharmaceuticals.
Rhianna, I certainly agree that it is a very unhealthy mistake for anyone to think they can simply take supplements without a healthy diet. Too many people try to chase cures or health in a bottle without eating and living healthily.
On the other hand, anyone with a good background in diet and nutrition can tell you that there is a difference between the minimal RDA needed to avoid deficiency related disease and optimum amounts that can provide maximum health benefits, including helping avoid chronic illnees.
OK, you asked for proof of mineral depletion. I generally have proof of everything I post and this is no exception.
1936. United States Senate document 264 documented the issue of depleted soil borne micro nutrient trace minerals and concluded that a national crisis was looming in the near future with the outcome a dramatic increase in mineral deficiency disease.
To quote from this study: "Countless human ills stem from the fact that impoverished soil of America no longer provides plant foods with the mineral elements essential to human nourishment and health!"
1997. The US Department of Agriculture confirmed this prediction with the graphic depiction of the reduction of soil borne micro nutrient trace minerals coincidental with the increase in mineral deficiency disease.
2008. The Society of Chemical Industry's (SCI) Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture. It reported that there is no significant difference in nutrient value in organically grown food compared to non organically grown food. [2] Both methods produce remarkably low nutrient values deficient in critical minerals due to past over harvesting practices.
University of Texas. Donald Davis, a senior researcher at the University of Texas, performed research into the disappearing nutrients in food. He compared Agriculture Department figures on nutrient content for 43 common fruits and vegetables. Davis says historical data spanning 50 to 70 years show apparent declines of 5 percent to 40 percent or more in minerals, vitamins and proteins in vegetables.
Washington State University professor Stephen Jones and researcher Kevin Murphy. Research showed that today's modern wheat has less nutritional value concluding that grains have been developed for baking qualities that are related to protein, not related to iron and zinc and selenium and other essential vitamins and minerals. "You would have to eat twice as many slices of modern bread as you would of the older variety to get the same nutritional value."
2001. The Journal of Complimentary Medicine pointed out that US and UK Government statistics show a decline in trace minerals of up to 76% in fruit and vegetables over the period 1940 to 1991.
2003. News Canada reported that today's fruit and vegetables contain far fewer nutrients than they did 50 years ago. Potatoes, for example, had lost 100 % of vitamin A content, 57% of vitamin C and iron, and 28% of calcium. The report examined data from the US Department of Agriculture involving vegetable quality. Over the entire 20th century the average mineral content in cabbage, lettuce, spinach and tomatoes, declined from 400mg to less than 50mg.
2004. The Journal of the American College of Nutrition examined food composition changes from 1950 to 1999 recorded in the USDA food composition tables. Forty-three crops were examined showing statistically reliable declines for 6 nutrients. The declines were observed in protein, calcium, phosphorous, iron, riboflavin and ascorbic acid; 6% in the case of protein and 38% for riboflavin.
2008. The UK publication Food Magazine. Analysis of food quality changes in the UK over the period 1940-2002. In an analysis of milk: iron content had fallen 62%; magnesium was down 21%; copper content had disappeared completely. Parmesan cheese; 70% decrease in magnesium. The calcium and iron content of all the foods examined was reduced dramatically. Beef rump steak iron content fell 55%.
EDIT: Dave, if you would do your homework you would find that chronic illness has indeed increased in ALL age groups, not just in numbers of people but also in percentages of people in each age group. Not only that, but the incidence of multiple chronic illness has risen precipitously in all age groups (and I note that is percentage in each age group and not merely number of individuals).
"It jumped from 13 percent in 1996 to 22 percent in 2005 for ages 45 to 64, to 45 percent for ages 65 to 79, and rose from 38 percent to 54 percent for those 80 and older. Among all ages, it went from 7 percent in 1996 to 13 percent in 2005."

Answer: Yes there is an increase in chronic illness in the U.S. All you have to do is look at the CDC report of 1905 to see that only less than 5% of ALL Americans were chronically ill. In 2005, the same CDC report showed over 53% of ALL Americans are chronically ill. I think that more than demonstrates a real problem.
If you put bad fuel in your car will it run the same as if you put good high octane fuel in. Of course not. Rhianna wants proof that today's food is not as good as what was provided years ago. Can she explain why after 100 years of researching cancer, it is getting worse, more people are dying of it and medical science is not working? One very specific research project that was done in the early 1930's by Dr. Weston A. Price was detailed in several books he wrote about cultures all over the world he visited and took blood samples, detailed pictures, and painfully describes his personal accounts with people that had NOT assumed the so called "modern diet" of his day. This was about 5 years of research. He clearly showed that the primitive people constantly did not have cavities (very small percentage far less than 1% of a particular population), were RESISTANT to TB, lived very long lives in many cases, well over 100, and the distinguishing factor was that they had over 10 times the minerals in their bodies and were eating animals that ate GRASS not grains, wild fish, NOT farm raised, RAW milks and dairy, lots of fermented foods, etc.
Dr. Reams did a study on fruits and vegetables and showed that using a BRIX meter, he could determine the nutrient value in any food. Using that technology today we can examine any foodstuff and determine what kind of value the food has nutritionally speaking. Evidence of his study was demonstrated that showed if a food had a high BRIX number, it would not spoil easily and could sit on a table for months and still be very edible and delicious. Try that with any food you buy in a typical store today. Or better yet, do the BRIX test yourself and you will have your answer.
When any animal eats GRAINS, they have to deal with a higher sugar content than when eating GRASS or other nutrient like highly fermented barley for instance where the protein content is very high and the sugar content was eaten by the bacteria. The higher sugar content causes these animals to fatten quickly and with high omega 6 fatty acids that are very inflammatory and create unhealthy animals. This is very basic chemistry and even a nurse or doctor that believes our food supply today contains all the nutrients we need can understand this problem.
As further evidence of food being a way to correct many ailments because of the lack of nutrients and cleansing, look at what the MEDICAL DOCTOR, Dr. Gabriel Cousins has done with diabetes. Medical people will tell you diabetes CANNOT BE CURED. Really? Cured with drugs maybe or using the current medical medications and techniques, but because they have failed miserably with that protocol, does that mean it cannot be cured or cannot be cured by them?
Look at what Dr. Cousins did to CURE diabetes in 30 days. http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/simply-raw-reversing-diabetes-in-30-days/
The Gerson Clinic in Mexico has been using a very similar food method to do the same for decades with great success. When you feed the body make believe food, you will get make believe health. When you give it the nutrients it craves and do proper cleansing, the results are what they are, good health. You can deny this and stand on some very bad science that is simply not working or embrace the truth. "When a man is honest and he hears the truth, he embraces the truth or he ceases to be honest.”
To ignore what works for BAD SCIENCE that is being promoted to INDOCTRINATE people by manipulating data as the cancer professionals are doing unless they change the definition of QUACKERY, we need to pay attention to real numbers, real statistics and real solutions to health problems we face today.
good luck
Question: Will artificial tanning lights promote the production of vitamin D in the body? There is a local tanning salon advertising that one of the benefits of using their tanning beds is that it will promote the production of vitamin D the same way natural sun exposure does. I've never heard of this. Is this true or a false advertising claim?
Answer: While tanning beds may provide you with a boost of vitamin D, there are also drawbacks. Research is still ongoing as to the safety of such tanning methods, and many doctors believe that they can be harmful to your health. In fact, a high percentage of health care professionals strongly believe that the artificial UV rays used in tanning beds may cause skin cancer.
