Question: CALORIE burning? I always hear that you can burn just as many calories by exercising in several small increments throughout the day as you can by doing your workout all at once.
But it seems to me that further into my workout, the harder it is to go on...and I would burn more calories because my body is working harder?
Doing 10 minute increments just seems too easy to achieve any real results?
Answer: i never heard of that kind of training.
i know that eating good and drinking lots of water is your best option.
try to eat 1.5 X your body weight of protein daily
1.5 X carbs
cut on your carbs after six pm. your digest if system slows down after sunset. Carbs... pasta, bread, rice and etc.
try doing a cure, it will help you eliminate toxins in your body and help you assimilate your food better. you could actually loose up to 10 pounds on it in a month.
for women, a healthy daily intake of cals are 1200-1500 approx.
the first 20 min on cardio, your body uses food energy.
after 20 min, it uses body fat as energy.
remember: to burn body fat more accurately, keep your heart heart at its 70% max. higher than that, it will use your muscle as energy.

Question: What Are Some Good Calorie Burning Exercises? What are some good calorie burning exercises that are EASY. I'm not really in the shape to run/jog (My lungs aren't good enough yet.) What are some exercises I can do around the house with house hold objects? I usually go walking but it's been so hot lately that I can't even go outside. I need something to do for exercise but I don't have weights or videos to do anything with and I don't have any cash, so I guess I'm really asking what are some cheap, easy calorie burning exercises?
And is it best to exercise in the morning or at night?
Are you serious, eat ice?
Answer: Running in place. Use shoes and a carpet underneath.
The Step. If low budget, buy a concrete block at Home Depot.
Jumping jacks. Watch out, though, can be hard on the bottom of your feet.
Get a couple of pails and put water in them. Lift and HOLD them for 1 minute. This will tighten everything up. Keep your joints and back bent so your muscles do the work, not your bones.
Question: What is a quick big calorie burning exercise I can do at home? I am a mother, work two jobs and have very little time to exercise so I want to be doing the most effective calorie burning exercise three is....any suggestions? I do not belong to a gym and would like to do this from home :)
Answer: Kaylizde is right on target. Jumping jacks burn more calories than any other form of cardio.
You may want to do them based on time, rather than count. Try jumping jacks straingt for 3 full mins., then march in place for 1 min., then try another 3 full mins. of jumping jacks, followed by another 1 min of high stepping. By the 3rd set, you may only be able to do 2-1/2 or 2 mins., but this workout DOES burn a ton of calories AND is a great form of cardio.
Question: What are the most effective calorie burning exercises that do not require equipment? I am in college, and I do not have any room for exercise equipment in my dorm. considering the fact that they are tiny little rooms, and people are always coming in and out... So i was wondering what the best calorie burning exercises that require NO equipment are... thank you so much :)
Answer: i'd say running... not only are you using the muscles in your legs [of course], but in your arms [to keep momentum] and your abs [to keep your core vertical]. especially if youre going uphill.
the only thing you might have to really invest in is a pair of good running shoes and water bottle, but other than that, its pretty cheap! plus you'll be able to get away from the hectic schedule of people coming in and out of your room. im not sure about other people, but after i run, i feel like i can concentrate on school work better, too

Question: What is the best calorie burning cardio exercise? I belong to a gym and there are various cardio type machines for use. What is the best one for burning more calories in less time?
Answer: I think the Elliptical is one of the best since you are constantly working your whole body with weights while running/sliding at the same time. You can also work on a flat ground or on random hills to go up a notch. Treadmill would be good too if you adjust to a higher inclination while walking or running (if you want to double the results).
Question: How long does it take for the calorie burning process from a given exercise to begin and complete? If the exercise burns 200 calories for a 30 minute duration, does that mean the 200 calorie loss all occurs within that time, or does it start when you're resting and take 6 hours, or however long, or?
Answer: It burns them as you do the work. As you read this you are burning calories. When you are walking you burn calories. When you digest food you burn calories. Burning calories is just and expenditure of energy that doing something causes. You eat food to gain energy to be able to exercise and function etc.

Question: How much does calorie burning increase after a workout? I heard that after you workout, your body burns calories at a higher rate for the rest of the day. But by how much?
Answer: Hi Supercrazyman.
The calorie burn that happens after a workout is called EPOC. Basically it's the oxygen dept created by the exercise, which causes calories to be burnt at a higher rate.
Cell turnover and anabolism from the damage to the muscle created through the workout contributes a hefty calorie burn as well.
You asked specifically how many calories will be burnt. Well, this is very individual. it depends on your previous conditioning, how much muscle mass you have, how intense the workout was.
I wrote an article about it on my site mcnewsletters com. I'll drop a link to the article and you can get a greater feel for it.
