Cardiovascular
Question: Cardiovascular? What are other good cardio exercises
What cardio exersices I could do at home
Answer: Running/jogging, walking (briskly), jumping rope, an aerobics DVD, stair-climbing, etc.
Make sure you do cardio for at LEAST 30 minutes a session. Your body doesn't start burning stored fat until after 20 minutes of cardio, so it won't do much good if you stop before 30 minutes.
Question: Does a cardiovascular based workout work the best for weight loss? I am conflicted whether to perform more cardiovascular excercise (treadmills, ellipticals) or do a cross-train cardiovascular/weights session to lose weight in general? Most of the men's magazines mention to do a weight routine, but alot of people have told me to stick to the treadmill. What are your thoughts?
Answer: you should cross train because with the cardiovascular then you will get your heart rate up burning calories. but by building muscle mass using weights you will burn calories when you aren't working out
Question: How do the cardiovascular and respiratory systems work together? I have to describe the structure and functions of the the cardiovascular system and the respiratory system. I can manage that but I now need to link the two systems, ie how they work together. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My brain has gone numb, and I just cannot get my head around it. Sooo fuzzy with revision and course work. Thank you. Also, any ideas where I can find good diagrams of both these systems. Thanks again.
Answer: Your cardiovascular system carries blood out of your heart and through your lungs to be reoxygenated, and then dispenses it throughout your body though different vessels. It then returns to be oxygenated again.
Question: How to improve both cardiovascular and muscle endurance for soccer? What are some drills for improving both muscle and cardiovascular endurance for soccer? I'm not a soccer player, I just like to play soccer in my free time.
Answer: To work your thigh and calf muscles, try running up and down long flights of stairs on your tip toes. Also do long runs while dribbling a soccer ball, to improve your stamina and also work on your ball handling. Running 2-3 miles while dribbling a ball is very effective. Hope it works!
Question: What is the difference between a cardiovascular and a cardiothoracic surgeon? I want to know the difference between a cardiovascular and a cardiothoracic surgeon and there annual salary.
Answer: It's thoracic surgeon, not cardiothoracic. While both perform thoracic (chest cavity) surgeries a cardiovascular surgeon has specialized training and knowledge of heart and blood vessel procedures and disorders. Many cardiovascular surgeons are also board certified thoracic surgeons. The two disciplines work well together but cardiovascular surgery is more specialized and thoracic surgery is more of a general surgery. As to annual salary, that varies. There is no one figure but it will be 6 of them. And, I might add, it's well earned!

Thanks!

Question: What is the relationship between the cardiovascular system and muscle fatigue? Biology homework. I need to find out the relationship between the cardiovascular system and muscle fatigue.
Answer: your blood is used to transport o2 in for respiration, and the removal of lactic acid.
o2 is used normaly but when there is a short supply the body the cell respires anarobicly. This uses proteins and fats but produces latic acid. A build up in that causes the pain that you feel but a good cardiovascular system works better at disposing it
Question: What is the difference between a cardiologist, cardiovascular surgeon, and cardiotheracic surgeon? I need to make a research on cardiovascular surgeons, and all these are different and I do not know which relates the most to what I am looking for? Question: How long will it take me to regain cardiovascular ability? I was recently injured, and couldn't run for three weeks. How long will it take me to rebuild the cardiovascular ability I lost while resting.I was running 13 miles on long running days. Now I feel strained at around 5.

Unfortunately, I don't go to clubs anymore to run a lot. So I have to depend on myself every week on Saturdays and Sundays to run. Unless of course, there is a good sport I discover, I will take the chance.
But for now, what kind of thing would you recommend me to do if I want to improve my upper-body strength and cardiovascular fitness to do every week? Thanks in advance. Help much appreciated.
Answer: I would highly recommand a very good product which is a kettlebell.
It is a nicely raw iron with many variation of exercise you can do. As for cardiovascular, "The swing" which is the foundational exercise is the best as it develops general fitness and cross over to many other sport. You can google search for kettlebell and know more about it but I believe the best website for it will be dragondoor.
The 1st link is on description of kettlebell
The 2nd link is my affilate link to dragondoor
The 3rd link is my blog
