Question: Carrot Oil? I just washed+conditioned+blow-dryed my hair.Now I would liek to flat iron it. && the only product that I have is carrot oil..how and how much should I put on??I dont want too oily hair..I just want pretty, straight hair, with volume? I want professional advice from ppl that know what they're doing.I have african-american hair. Thanx

Question: Does carrot oil help you tan on sunbeds? I bought a calpsyo carrot oil to use on sunbeds.Will it help me tan? Or anyone know any good cheap creams to use prior to going on sunbeds.

Answer: yes carrot oil will help you tan better, well more than anything it just makes you burn lol, it attracts all the uv light and gives a little bit of protection, but you can buy tanning carrot oil which helps you bronze whilst getting a tan. and i reccomend coconut butter its great and it smells gorgeus lol.. about £10.

Question: How often should I use/apply Carrot Oil Cream? i use Africa's Best Organics Carrot Oil Cream. I currently apply it once a day after i take a shower in the afternoon before bed. I hope i'm not damaging my hair by using it too many times. How many times a day should I apply it and how many times a week should i use it? I use it to help with my thin and weak hair that I have. I'm hoping it will strengthen my thin hair since its so thin, it can be pulled out very easily. Thanks alot to all in advance. I use it when my hair is dry. Is that alright? Should I apply it when my hair is wet?, will it work better?

Answer: Normally, you do have to shampoo out a heavy oil. It will simply leave your hair greasy & oily. Make sure you leave the conditioner on long enough so that it conditions your scalp properly. Follow up with a light shampoo and you should have clean and very well conditioned hair after your treatment.

Question: Should you drink carrot juice with a tbsp of oil? In order to absorb the fat-soluble vitamins, should you drink carrot juice with oil? Or can you absorb the vitamins without oil?

Answer: You cannot absorb the vitamins without oil/fats. You don't have to add the oil to the juice but you should eat fats/oil at the same time. Maybe add some nuts or avocado at the same time. Celery with avocado/mayo/cayenne dip. Answer: I think the hair mayo is supposed to make your hair shiny, buy the shampoo that is at Sally's or Walmart, or wherever you can find it that says Olive oil, its a green one. Olive oil is supposed to make your hair grow, give it shine, hidrate, and okay, it is good for just about anything. It is less than 5 dollars

Question: HELP!!! Can i substitute butter for oil in a carrot cake recipe? I am in the middle of making a carrot cake and my husband just used all of the oil to make chicken wings. Can butter be a substitute for oil in a cake recipe?

Answer: Yes it can. But you have to increase the other liquids in your recipe to make up for the amount of oil you aren't putting in. Butter is a semi-solid, so add about one quarter more liquid than teh recipe calls for.

Answer: Everyone says "put eggs" or "put carrots" or "fruit" in your hair... truth is, you have to GROW your hair healthy in the first place. Then you need a good conditioner... use cold water to seal the hair and keep the conditioning shininess. Don't swim without a swim cap, avoid alot of heat/sun

Answer: I am a licensed cosmetologist and I recommend Dr. Miracle products to some of my clients, it is an excellent line. Protein strengthens your hair: P-1000, Aphogee, etc. If your hair and scalp are dry use the protein treatment first then the conditioner. Olive Oil is okay, but sit under the dryer with a cap on to get the maximum benefits. Don't own a hooded dryer? Just put the cap on. Keep away from the heat; pressing combs, flat irons, blow dryers, etc. which dry your hair even more.

Answer: regular trims are a must, about every 7-9 weeks use vitamin e on fresh washed hair, not the scalp will tames the frizzies and deep condition and makes my hair grow about three in a month. takes about a month for the growth part to kick in. e is cheap and its great. amount will vary from hair type to hair type, you get too much in your hair just rewash it.

Answer: It worked alright, but when it comes to oil-based products, only use a little bit.
