Cellulite Diet Exercise
Question: What works best on cellulite? Diet, supplements, exercise, lotions, massage, etc? Stomach and back of thighs
Answer: Getting rid of cellulite is not as easy as buying a single product and BAM your cellulite is gone. To remove cellulite effectively you need to look at what causes cellulite. Cellulite is caused by the fats cells in the cellulite damaged area expanding due to excess toxin and fat consumption. These excess fats and toxins are not removed by the body therefore they build up, as they build up they clump and group together, this is what causes the dimpled look on the skins surface. To really remove cellulite successfully you need to attack the cellulite on 3 fronts: exercise, diet and a cellulite cream.
exercise: exercise is important because it burns that excess fat. It also tones the area that has become soft. Some people who exercise to remove cellulite will never succeed because they don't target the cellulite area. example if you have cellulite on your thighs. You don't want to be doing sit-ups, you need to be running, lunges or walking depending on your physical capabilities. Also to get the most benefits out of exercising to remove cellulite you need to work your cardiovascular and anaerobic systems.
As explain toxins and fats are a major cause to cellulite so you need make some alterations to your diet. You need to remove as much saturated fat from your diet as possible. This means no more deep fried foods and take-away foods. To reduce the amount of toxins in your body you don't need a full detox diet. You just need to stay away from highly processed foods. This can be easy all you have to do to remove most of the toxins is eat more fresh fruits and vegetables.
Some people think you don't need a cellulite cream, but to get the best results and fastest results you would probably want a cellulite cream. Why do you need a cellulite? Because, the cellulite has damaged your skins connective tissues and cell structure, and the longer you wait the worse it gets unfortunately. The are a lot of cellulite creams available, i reckon the best is Revitols cellulite cream. It has a 90 day money back guarantee, you don't need a prescription and it uses 100% natural ingredients. Have a look at http://www.revitol.site88.net
i wish the best of luck with your cellulite removal.
Question: If i continue to diet and exercise will my cellulite go away?
Answer: check out his article - The Truth About Cellulite

it lists myths, facts, and methods to remove/reduce the appearance of cellulite. really informative.
hope this helps : )
Question: Does diet and exercise really help with cellulite? Does it?
Answer: To remove cellulite you have to do three things. Firstly change your diet. To go into more detail, with your diet you need to remove as much saturated fat as possible and to eat foods that are free of toxins. because foods that are high in saturated fats and toxins cause the fats cells in the cellulite area to become enlarged and group together creating dimples (cellulite) on the skins surface. The alterations in your diet don't need to be great. It’s actually easier then you think to make changes in your diet to help your cellulite problem. Just by drinking more water and eating more fresh fruits and vegetables, you will begin to clear your cellulite of the toxin build up.
Secondly you need to exercise, both cardiovascular and anaerobic (weighted) exercises. But specifically you want to perform exercises that are going to help your specific area such as lunges, running and sit ups. Building muscle in the cellulite affected area helps clear away the fat and toxins. It also tightens the skin to further remove the appearance of cellulite.
To get the best results you need to get a cellulite cream. Because the cellulite has damaged your skins connective tissues and skins cell structure. You need to rejuvenate your skin help to repair the damage, you need to strengthen these cells as there is no point in doing this work if the skins tissue will never have the strength to bring back the skins smoothness and firmness. I know there are many creams available claiming to help you. All I can give you is recommendation on what cream I have seen results with. Probably the best cream I have seen is from Revitol. It contains all the ingredients that have been documented to help remove cellulite. If you wish to find out more about this cream visit http://www.naturalskincaretreatments.com.
I wish you the best of luck.
Question: Has anyone gotten rid of their cellulite from strict diet and exercise? I am 5'2 100lb girl. I am also 27. Just last year I have gotten tons of cellulite bellow my butt and all on the back of my legs! I have been on a strict diet of high fiber and protein (i admit i do not eat enough veggies) drink lots of water, and work out 3 to 5 days a week. (lots of strength training, leg lunges and squats) I have been doing this about a month now. I do cheat like once a week. My question is, has anyone out there gotten rid of this with diet and exercise? Do I need to give it more time? or should I also try those new treatments out there like mesotherapy? I am so embarrassed to wear a bikini this year augh
Answer: i am on the same boat as you but i am 21. I have been working out and drinking lots of water for about 3 months. I can not say that I see a tremendous improvement but i took photos before and after..and i do see a slight improvement but its been really hard. idk what else to do and i am still searching for more answers. but keep at it. I am sure we will both see improvements =)
i just read that ur embarrassed to wear a bikini..well you shouldnt be. about 90% of all women have it. you are very thin and something like that should not stop you. U know u are trying your best to control it and that should help very much.
Question: Is it possible to tone up and lose significant cellulite in 2 months with exercise and diet? I just had a baby about 4 months ago, and just with breast feeding and watching what I eat (not really dieting bc of breastfeeding), I've lost almost all my baby weight. The problem now is that I have this left over inner tube around my stomach and cellulite in my arms and thighs. I'm still breastfeeding and so I cannot crash diet or diet period, I just have to continue to eat healthy everyday - lots of protein and veggies... but if I up the exercise like run and weight train everyday, is it possible to tone up, and lose that cellulite by October 31st? If so what should my work out plan be?
I see that you all say cellulite is permanent.... but I never had it before, and no women in my family really have it.... could it possilby go away somewhat after i'm done breast feeding... is it just part of the extra fat my body is storing to breast feed?
Answer: Why October 31st? Yes you can make considerable improvement but be careful not to exhaust yourself- having a new baby and breastfeeding is strenuous by itself. I'm worried you are being too hard on yourself.
Weight training will improve your tone out of sight- don't do it everyday as your muscles need time to recover and you can also run yourself down and become sick if you don't have days off- and you don't want to be sick with a baby.
Some exercises- try squats with free weights 3 sets of 12.
Get on the leg press machine- but do it holding a medicine ball between your knees. 3x12
Push-ups- as many as you can.
A good one is grab a medicine ball and bounce it as hard as you can (raising your arms up high but not backwards over your head) so you can catch it again. It really works your arms.
Walk up hills or on the tread mill on a steep incline. Thats really good for legs and bum.
Don't be too paranoid about your stomach. It is often the last place people lose weight so don't get disheartened. Fat will usually come off your shoulders and, oddly enough, your back first.
Also get a tan (maybe a fake one) because it reduces the appearance of cellulite.
Question: Cellulite....What else can I do with diet and exercise? I recently discovered a bit a cellulite on my thighs, not really noticeably only when I pinch my thighs.
So I thought I handle it before it got any worse, I joined a gym about a month ago, I go three days a week. I noticed my thighs got a bit more muscular but I can still see the cellulite when I pinch my thighs.
It's really driving me crazy, I try to drink at least 2litres of water a day, I don't eat any junk food, I try to eat a lot of fiber ( cereal, apple..etc).
I'm not overweight, in fact I'm kinda underweight, I'm 110lbs. 5'7.
So I was wondering if there is anything else I could do, I did some research and what I found was very conflicting. Some say the creams work (esp. Nivea) others can their a completely scam.
I've also become recently engaged and I want to look great for my wedding.
I thought maybe you guys can help me dispel the myths...
Answer: Hey there I have always had cellulite since I hit puberty although I have always been on the too-thin side and trouble gaining weight. I eat really healthy and exercise too, seems to be genetics as all the girls in my family have it. Sounds like you are doing everything right... here is what I have found:
Most creams are not going to help, they are scams, and often the wording on the bottle is really ambiguous (to avoid legal trouble I guess). I have only ever been disapointed by creams. Revitol cream tends to have good reviews but seems to be the only one, so you could try.
Cellulite can be a symptom of a sluggish lymphatic system, and ways to stimulate lymphatic drainage are rebounding (trampoline) and rope skipping, massage your skin/dry brushing and liver tonics. Rebounding has been most effective thing for me and I have seen mine reduce to a level I am confident wearing short skirt/shorts now. Although I guess I will always have some cellulite.
90% of women have some degree of cellulite, if you can only see yours when you pinch your thigh, then it is very minor and nobody else is going to notice, and neither will your fiance. I thought I had really noticeable cellulite, but I was with my bf for 2 years and I mentioned something about not wearing short skirts because of cellulite and he said "Do you have cellulite? I never noticed"
Men tend not to notice these small flaws, as long as you are in shape, take care of your general health and appearance, and are smiling and confident then that is everything you need to do :-)
Question: How come some thin people have cellulite. Is there a way to get rid of it through diet and exercise? Ok, so I don't look at my back-side that often. I don't need to frighten myself XD. But last time I looked, I had a few signs of cellulite.
What do I need to change in my diet to change this. Let's say I start eating more fruits and veggies, and eat limited quantities of fat (and only the natural, and healthy kinds, like from nuts and a little from meat), as well as limit my intake of sugary foods (or actually, if I don't eat any candy and such), is that going to make a difference in, let's say, three months?
How come there are really skinny people who have cellulite?
Answer: Loads Of Lettuce And Cold Showers
Because Its Fat Cells You Can Be Skinny And Have Fat Cells
Question: What's the best exercise to lose cellulite on upper legs? I need a good EXERCISE (NOT pills!) to lose cellulite on my upper legs. It's not excessive, but I still don't like it. I don't want diet pills or anything like that because it's just my upper legs that are the problem, not my stomach or anything like that. Thanks.
Answer: Cellulite is nothing but a form of fat so you cannot lose fat just from your upper legs but you would see a overall loss of fat if you start working out.
There's no exercise called as spot exercise. Anyone who says that is a cheat.
You can start doing running exercise daily and try to touch your hands to your feet without bending your knees. Cycling and swimming also can help a lot.
Also start drinking 2-3 glasses of lukewarm water with lemon squeezed in it every morning on an empty stomach.
Reduce your intake of high calorie diet like fried food or beef and pork.
Question: What are the top 3 steps to get rid of cellulite? Is it changing diet? More exercise? Using cellulite creams?
Will lots and lots of exercise get rid of cellulite alone?
Answer: Using cellulite creams does not work.
Lots and lots of exercise won't work either because you'll lose weight too rapidly, enhancing the look of cellulite. Exercise 30-60 minutes a day(try to do cardio-running, walking, skipping, swimming) and you'll see results.
Aim for a healthy weight loss of 1-2 lbs a week. That means a calorie deficiency of 500-1000 calories per day. Change up your diet. Eat foods that are low in saturated fats-fruits & veggies, low-fat yogurt, lean meats, eggs.
hope that helps:))!
Question: cellulite exercise question? I have cellulite on the front of my thighs, above my knees. Trying to diet but what exercises will help?
Answer: I know how you feel, i have a light sprinkling of cellulite on my thighs. lol
and it pisses me off!!
Lately i've just been doing 10km on my stationary bike every day and 3 mins of Jumping Jacks and i've noticed a difference.
It's all about toning.
Question: what is the healthiest diet and exercise routine? I am a young adult, and work out 4-5 days a week. However, I cannot seem to shape my legs the right way. My problem areas are my thighs, butt and lower inner thigh area. Help! Also, what is the best firming/ cellulite reducing cream?
Answer: try the "lil Jack workout" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKCGe2Ezris
Question: Do most women have butt cellulite? Also, do many skinny women have it too? Also, if a woman has a big butt with cellulite, will exercise and a diet make the cellulite AND the big ass go away? Or will just the cellulite disappear?
I'm just asking because I am very skinny but I have cellulite all on my butt and upper thighs. I wanna get rid of it, unless it would mean having no butt at all.
Answer: I have a little on my butt, but not much. I've only got some stretch marks on my inner thighs. My younger sister though has a noticeable amount on her butt and she's only 15. I wouldn't say she's super skinny but she not overweight either. Healthy. Like someone else posted, it must just be drawing the short straw...
Question: Is it possible to get rid of cellulite completely? With diet & exercise is it possible to get rid of cellulite completely? Or is that impossible - when it's there it's staying there for good!?
Answer: This is the best: strength training will greatly diminish the cellulite on your legs. I would go to a gym to define and tone my leg muscles. I have seen this done and I know it works. Remember, you want tone, not bulk. This means you will do low weight, high repetitions. For example, you would only do 15-20lbs on the leg lift, but do three sets of 15. You want to do enough to fatigue the leg muscles. This tears the muscle fibers in your legs. You will rest a day in between leg workouts to allow the leg muscles to rebuild themselves. This is when the results will begin to show. Also, make sure you are getting the right amount of sleep. This is really important when lifting weights.
You also need to lose the fat on your legs by doing cardio at least 30 minutes a day or every other day. This will get your heart rate up and help burn calories.
You must also eat a well balanced diet(fruits and veggies, fish, chicken, turkey, etc). Stay away from fried foods and drink plenty of water.
Question: Can cellulite go away with good exercise? I have some cellulite on my butt & thights.. I only weigh 120 pounds.. Just to give you an idea. If I exercise, run and work out until I get a body like Sherly Crow.. Will the cellulite still exist or can at least 80% of go away with a good workouts and good diets?
Answer: Yes, I lost 5 lbs and you could barely see my cellulite. Bike riding is a good way.
Question: Arbonne Figure 8 Vanish for cellulite-Do the results last after you stop using it? I can't afford to buy that stuff constantly! For those of you who have used it, do the results last? Do you know any other cure for cellulite that does last? Even if it just mildly improves the cellulite? I've heard that exercise and diet don't work, and over that last 5 years of diet and exercise, i can't disagree there.
Answer: I think its a high cost effective moisturizer to make you skin look better. It does not remove underlying fat below the skin surface. Only diet and excercise removes the bulges.
Check out drugstore.com for anti cellulite products. compare ingrediants to what you been using.
Question: can you get rid of cellulite? is it possible to rid cellulite by dieting and exercise?
Answer: Cellulite is one of things in life that we don't like, but will always be around.
You can minimize the look of cellulite with cellulite creams. Like wrinkle creams they fill in the lines of cellulite and help the skin swell up a very tiny bit. This gives the skin a smoother look. They say that there is a 65-67% reduction in the look of cellulite. If you massage them in at night, it will help break up the cellulite chunks also giving you a smoother look.
You can also minimize it by toning the muscles under the cellulite. This will help tighten the area and when the muscles are tighter, it gives a tighter look and feel, thus having the cellulite look noticeable.
You can help new cellulite from occurring by making sure that your diet is free from white sugars and carbs (eat only breads and pasta made from 100% whole grains), take a daily vitamin-mineral supplement (buy a good one that comes in a capsule, not a tiny little pill), try to avoid caffeine as caffeine add to cellulite (if you drink coffee then don't drink any energy drinks that are high in caffeine and sugar).
The #1 way to help keep cellulite at bay is pure water and lots of it. Make sure you drink at least 8 full glasses a day. Many people have cellulite because they don't drink enough water and there is no way for the calorie burned toxins to be removed by the cells. By drinking plenty of water you leave an easy escape route for the toxins and they won't build up.
You can never get rid of 100% of it but you can reduce the look and lets face it, it's the look of cellulite that we don't like.
