Question: Is all of vitamins the dietary supplements? I heard from doctor saying It is bad to take vitamin that is muti-vitamin or dietary supp. I thought all of them (vitamins) are dietary Supplements? Please explain to me
Answer: Supplements should be in whole food forms. ie. fruits and veggies are the base on the supplements.

Answer: A multivitamin every day would probably be sufficient.
To be a successful and healthy vegetarian you need to be aware of the various traps that you can find in a web search for "vegetarian diet" + "health hazards".

Answer: Apricots are full of essential "stuff" and so good for us. Even dried Apricots have tons of good stuff in them.

Answer: I'm vegan.
I don't take dietary supplements as I absolutely abhor pills in general.
The only thing I take on a semi-regular basis is iron. I struggled with anemia even when I ate meat, so my veganism has no bearing on me taking it.
I take it if I remember...if not, eh. Who cares?
I try to eat a very well-balanced diet and thus absorb my vitamins and minerals naturally.

Answer: Consume a lot of vitamin C, it helps repair connective tissues.

They also should keep a medicine log.
They should have a log for alcohol.
I would say any of these three can vary the outcome if your next candidate is not on the same meds. and drinking the same thing. How often do you find someone who needs no medicines and drinks nothing and is really going to care about the outcome. What is your incentive for participation?

Answer: i am not sure of the guidelines...however if you are asking what you should be taking or the recommended dose of each vitamin, i would suggest womans 1 a day vitamin...that is suppose to have all the vitamins you need for 1 day...the minerals, i am not so sure on.

Answer: Only if you are seriously neglecting your nutritional intake, or you have been held prisoner in a Cuban jail for the past year and they didn't feed you anything but fish heads.. You get all the vitamins you need from normal food. Being female, you MIGHT benefit from a low-dose iron supplement, but you shouldn't need any of the other vitamins. Most vitamins simply pass through your system unabsorbed anyway.
Question: How long does it take dietary supplements to kick in? (Vitamins, Minerals, Amino Acids, etc)? I'm not sure if the effects kick in after an hour or so or if it takes a day to receive any of the effects.
Answer: There is no special effect for these substances. If you are deficient in any of them, you will notice a difference, but assuming you are getting adequate nutrition, any supplements of these will probably be of no added benefit to you. It is great to take a multivitamin just in case you aren't getting enough in your food, but most likely, you aren't going to feel any effects unless you've been severely malnourished or something.

Answer: Everyone in my family takes One A Day vitamins. They have several varieties to meet different peoples needs. For example, male or female, over 50, etc.

Answer: Yeah, they'd have no way of getting into the body cos there wouldnt be enough fat
