Question: How does one know if one is dehydrated while exercising ?I get cramps suggesting too little fluid,? But too much fluid can apparently lead to certain problems-hypnometreria ?Thirst alone is it appears not a true measure of fluid requirements. Anyway of measuring amount needed ?Sports drinks only part of answer and maybe a problem
Answer: yes dehydration can lead to cramps. but the thing is, replenishing yourself right then and there wont fix the problem. what you have to do is drink plenty of fluids right before the event. like an hour or 2 before. and eat plenty of bananas. potassium helps a lot.
Question: What is the minumum daily fluid requirement for a guinea pig? I am hand feeding mine at the moment as she is poorly but i don't actually know what is the minimum she needs.
I have hand fed before successfully so it's just out of interest really.
Answer: they need to have 200ml of water a day
and 1/8 - 1/4 of a cup of pellets
Question: Can I use MS 5931 power steering fluid instead of MS 9933? I found that my 2000 Plymouth Neon takes MS9933 power steering fluid but before I knew this I bought some that "meets the service requirements for: Daimlerchrysler MS 5931". I went to Wal-Mart as it is late to see if I could find the MS9933 but nothing at Wal-Mart had any sort of indication as to what type of power steering fluid it was. Anyone know if I can use the stuff I bought already?
Answer: MS5931 is factory fill in 1995-1998 models. In 1999-2000 MS9933 was used. If just topping off, you would need MS9933. However, MS9602 is now factory fill as well as replacement if a large amount of fluid was lost. This would cover pump or gear replacement, or maybe a blown hose. Starting June 5,2001, MS9602 is the only fluid used.Do not use the MS 5931on your year vehicle. By the way, MS9602 is also ATF-4 transmission fluid.
Question: how often should you have your break fluid changed? is there a legal requirement by the law that requires a car's break fluid to be drained and flushed and refilled after so many years use ?
Answer: never change it unles it gets contaminated. I'll bet if you look in the owners manual you will not find anything about changing brake fluid any where in the book. Just like the steering flushes they try to sell. Money maker for the dishonest

Question: Why isn't water used as a hydraulic fluid? It seems the current trend is moving away from flammable oils for use as hydraulic fluids. Why isn't simple water used as a hydraulic fluid? Isn't the only requirement for a hydraulic fluid to be incompressible (which means any liquid would work)?
Answer: They are.
From http://www.hydraulicspneumatics.com/200/FPE/Hydraulics/Article/True/6452/Hydraulics
"Water-based hydraulic systems traditionally have been used in longwall mining applications and in hot-metal areas of steel mills. The obvious advantage of water systems in these industries is their fire resistance. Water-based hydraulic systems also have not-so-obvious cost advantages over oil-based fluid. First, non-toxic, biodegradable synthetic additives for water cost $5 to $6 per gallon. One gallon of concentrate can make 20 gallons of a 5% solution, so the cost of water-based hydraulic fluid actually can be less than 30 cents per gallon...."
Question: Can anybody explain me "what is conductor sizing in fluid power engineering"?? i have an assignment on this topic "Explain Conductor Sizing for flow rate requirements???" it comes under the subject Fluid power engineering. can anybody help me out plz..???
Answer: Remember that all other things being equal, a larger size conductor will have a lower resistance. So when we increase
resistance, we decrease amperage or must increase voltage to maintain the same amperage. Luckily, there’s a simple
formula that shows this relationship. It’s called Ohm’s Law.
Ohm’s law states that the voltage in a circuit is equal to the current times the resistance. This formula can also be
used to solve for current or resistance. Figure 12 shows this. To use the “magic triangle”, just pull out the piece you
want to solve for and the remaining pieces are in the correct relationship.
Now for the other part of our electrical factors - resistance. Resistance is caused by friction, in this case by all those billions of electrons moving along a conductor. As you can imagine, the amount of friction or resistance depends on how many electrons are going by (amps) and how fast they are going (volts). In a water analogy we can show resistance by the diameter of the pipe, we can show the effect on water flow and PSI by decreasing the size of the pipe. In electronics, resistance is measured in Ohms again , usually
shown by the Greek capitol letter Omega (Ω)
I hope this helps

Question: 03 Honda Civic Aftermarket add ons? Tranny cooler and fluid? Hi thank you for looking out to help me first off
now im keeping my Automatic trans and i want to keep it failsafe
1. Would adding a tranny cooler benefits me? And if so should I get the one with fans
2. Any automatic transmission fluid that are way exceeded Hondas requirements
Answer: 1. Yes, a transmission cooler will benefit you. It won't be 100% bullet proof, but lowering your transmission temperature drastically reduces the amount of damaging wear you do on it. You don't need one with fans, and try and get one with a rating of around 9000BTU. (B&M transmission coolers preferably...they work really well)
2. No, Honda ATF is the best. People have tried many more (believe me im in a Honda Prelude club, people have tried using a lot of different things) and nothing gets as good results as Honda ATF. It's designed for our Honda engine's, no reason to move to something else if you don't want to risk anything!
Question: OOOH YEEEAH! What are the requirements for being a cocktail waitress? I have a married bootie so it's quite fugly. But on the plus side, I've desensitized my gag reflex and I know how to gargle various viscous fluids.
Do you think I can put that on my resume?
And of course, I blurt out the phrase: "OOOOH YEEEAH" at random times....I can't even predict the next one OOOOO YEEEEAH!
Answer: bOObs.
Question: I have to do a project for physics, and it has to meet these requirements,? I have to do a project for physics, and it has to meet these requirements,
1) Marble in motion for as close to 60 seconds as possible. In motion means rolling on a track when not traveling through a jump. Students may not touch track after timing starts. Grade based on percent precision, i.e.
Within 10% of 60 seconds=20 points
Within 20% of 60 seconds=18 points
2) Marble changes direction at least 5 times
3) Marble makes a horizontal 360 degrees loop (does not count for direction change)
4) Marble makes a jump of a horizontal distance of 20 cm or greater
5) The track must be incorporated into the series of events
6) Marble must have six consecutive events
Description limitation
-no fluids allowed
-marble must be standard size and made out of glass
-must follow school rules and dress code at all times
-marble should and must, enter and leave a transport device. This is the only time the marble may be at rest. The time the marble is in the transport device will count toward marble time.
-marble must not come to rest (except as noted before)
-must fit through doors leading into commons
-marble may not be moved by a motor (except when it is in a motorized transport device)
Answer: that's easy... I'll give you a hint - just keep declining the marble track until after the events are done
Question: What is the limit that makes a piece of paper recyclable? Suppose you have a piece of plain paper. Is it recyclable when it (1) has pencil or pen writing on it; (2) is painted or coloured with painting; (3) has correction fluid or correction tape attached; (4) is stained with some glue; (5) is printed with ink; (6) is a photocopy or a prinout by laser printer?
I'm particularly eager to know about point 3. I am worried that correction fluid may not be easy to remove in the process of recycling paper.
Other than the things I can think of mentioned above, what are the other requirements that a piece of paper must meet to make it READILY RECYCLABLE WITH REASONABLE COST? (Obviously any paper can be recycled - it is the COST that matters.)
Answer: Preparation of paper pulp from post-consumer fibers involves mulching the paper and floating it in a bubble bath where a froth will float ink and other contaminants away (those that can float) while other (like paper clips) will sink to the bottom. Correction fluid will behave like a mild contaminant that might, to a certain degree, be separated from the wood fibers, but even if some is left, it will mix in the mass as a fine powder which will not cause much of a degradation to the final product (I mean, it is not like there is going to be the equivalent of a bucket of correction fluid per ton of paper).
The actual limit to how well paper can be recycled is the length of the fibers. Each time paper is processed, fibers get damaged and end up being shorter. At some point, the fibers are too short to make paper that can stand to reasonable usage.
Usually, paper made form recycled paper will be augmented by adding a proportion of virgin fibers, so that there always will be some long fibers in the mix to ensure a good quality product.

Question: Latex used in Art masking fluid...? Are there many different latexes out there that are used in Masking fluid ?? Derived from different sorts of rubber trees ?? Or is the masking fluid the same no matter what company you are talking about, Winsor & Newton, or any other... Or do they all go through a strict handling on a chemical level ???
See.. let me go straight to the point.. I am planning to try and create my own masking fluid. The problem I have is that I cannot find natural rubber latex in a liquid form ANYWHERE... I've written dozen of e-mails to different companies asking for this. I got a positive reply asking me to give him technical requirements of that latex in liquid form. WHAT SHOULD I TELL HIM ??? A special formula of content ?? Exact details of every proton in that latex ??
How much is it necessary for an artist who simply wants to create his own masking fluid ?????
Answer: Speaking as an artist, I think you might get better answers to your question if you post in a category for science or chemistry.
I just use what comes out of the bottle.
