Yeah, some of the defs. had wrong stuff (like present used for past tense, etc.) YES, the poem needs to make sense. (Rhyming poem) Good LUCK!!!!!!!!!
Answer: he was a sphinx, and dubious captian
who was told he ghastly
by tousled haired women
so with mirth he would fastly
capture
release
recapture
and then lock them in a house on with a lease
those women, with their pleated skirts
singing songs with a lot of clinkers
put their arms on across their shirts
afraid the freak would try to tinker
and out of captivation
he would do it again
take pictures, put on captions,
but he cant always win
some women are uncapturable
not able to be a captive
not able to be captured, they are to audible
the captor would be sick of them and let them go and live
he breaks cruets
and when people say he writes bad annals
he lets
go and throws panels
this man is a freak
if he is near run away
please dont shreik
this is all i have to say
this is difficult....i tried my best for it to make sense
Question: anyone seen in morocco? i am traveling in 4 days. i want to buy something for my mother in law since she is in the kitchen most all day everyday. my husband says i dont need to because they have them there. i want to buy her a spice rack, i think it would save her time and a little energy rather than reaching up high to get her spices she can just spin and choose from her counter top, and also a glass syrup container like you see in restaurants, i bought 2 . i use it for olive oil and it is so easy, sure beats getting the oil jug out every time. i think this would also help her out . has anyone ever seen any moroccan houses with a spice rack or oil cruet type thing. i never have they always do everything the hard way. none has even thought of making it easy for them. my husbands insists we dont buy one for her, but i am almost 100%sure that they only have those in very very rich peoples houses. anyone who is from or has visited morocco please let me know if you have seen them so i can try to persuade my husband to let me get one for his mother.
Answer: From my experience of Morocco, a spice rack wouldn't really be the best thing to buy her. But I really think it depends on what part of Morocco she lives in. Where I lived a spice rack would be inconvenient since the spices they buy are all mixed into one bag when they get them. It's used for all the cooking which is mainly for tajines and chicken and couscous. Perhaps your mother in law is very European and lives in one of the big towns or cities, but my mother in law (I am married to a Moroccan too) lives in a small village and I doubt very much if she would know what a spice rack was.
Perhaps get something like tea glasses, tea towels, a table cloth, something that she will definitely use; or even wait till you are in Morocco and go to a market stall where they sell household goods and choose from their selection.
And what she is doing might seem like the hard way, but it's also the traditional way. She probably likes to take her time over cooking.
Question: Where can I find a glass vinegar cruet stopper? I have a glass cruet with no stopper. As fas as I can tell the opening is 11/16". The cruet itself is a little over 3-1/2" high and 3-1/4" wide at its widest point. It has a "5" on the bottom with a symbol beneath which I can't identify.
