Healing Diets
Question: Starting Maximized Living Healing Diet - help? I have decided that need to make changes in my diet and going organic and mostly raw. It is a HUGE change. Anyone have experience - good &/or bad? How much more expensive will it be than shopping at SuperTarget?
Answer: Changes in your diet take time, patience, and an open mind.
Remember why you are making the change - determine your goals. I made a change for the better in my nutrition, and I'm never going back. Good nutrition, organicism, and raw foods does not have to be more expensive - consider all the packaging you'll be discarding.
Stay on the perimeter of the supermarket - you'll encounter less pre-packaged food, better prices, and a much healthier nutritional lifestyle.
Question: What is the best cleansing or healing diet for allergies?
Answer: As with any medical condition, eating healthy, getting proper sleep, and exercising helps to build our immune system. Avoid what is causing your allergies (you don't say whether they are food or environmental or both).
Be careful with cleanses and detoxification products. Even though they may claim to be all natural, that does not mean non allergenic. Most allergies are to natural things like foods and plants.
Question: what diet is best for healing from road rash/burns? I just had a bad motorcycle accident. I received considerable road rash (large areas of skin scraped off), the emergency hospital folks said it looked a lot like 2nd and 3rd degree burns. My question is what diet would be most conducive to quick healing and more importantly the least amount of scarring. Someone said drink a lot of orange juice.

Question: Wht diet shud i take to increase skin healing process? 3days ago a cracker burst on the back side of my right hand fingers, some skin has been peeled off. Now wht diet(fruits, vegetables etc) shud i take to increase the rate of healing of my skin. And if u have any additional advices, suggestions then u r welcome.
Answer: I am not sure what a cracker is but it sounds as if you have been burned .
I suggest a visit to a doctor.
Additionally, extra zinc helps healing. Vitamin D is also important.Vitamin E is great right on the skin.

Keep this covered with an antibiotic cream and clean it daily.
Question: Are there any foods I should add or remove from my diet to help speed up the process of healing a broken bone? I have stress fracture and was wondering if eliminating or adding certain foods to my diet will help speed recovery and promote bone healing. Thanks!
Answer: Eat foods that have lot of calcium content. Bananas are good.
Better still, take these homeopathic medicines. They not only work fast but also heal fast.
1. Calcarea Phos 6x - 4 pills 4 times a day for 15 days
2. Symphytum 30 - 4 pills 4 times a day for a month
Bones take a long time to heal. The broken area joins fast but the joint takes a long time to be firm and take the weight of the body. Allow the medicines to act on you and then you will be as good as you were before.
All the best.
Question: What diet is best for quickly healing damaged tissue? I have a minor surgical incision wound on my foot. I want to know what foods / vitamins / enzymes are best for a rapid recovery of the tissue. I need to be able to dance at my wedding in a few weeks.
Answer: Vitamin E oil, usually applied on the OUTSIDE, is helpful in reducing scarring. I don't know if it helps healing.
What will help healing and pain the most is to keep your foot elevated.
Good luck
Question: Is there anything on the market natural or artificial that can aid with skin healing? Nothing like skin healing creams such as savlon or germolene.
More like any foods which help skin repair etc?
Would added protein to a diet increase the rate at which my skin heals?

Question: Can i still workout with a healing rib tattoo? I already have the tattoo, but im going to have it outlined with the UV ink. Im heavily into a diet, and workout, and lifting plan. Would it be ok to still work out with the healing tattoo as long as i kept it moisturized? Thanks
Answer: Not a good idea if the tat is brand new. You should wait until the scabbing is over before you do any heavy exercising and have nothing rub on your tattoo as it's healing. After the scabbing is done then you can do some exercising but wash the tattoo and put some lotion on it after you wash it. You may want to call the shop if all else fails and ask your artist.

Question: I need info for an extremely healthy, healing diet.? I purged ( I did the castor oil, yes it is unbelievable) 24 hour
then juiced for 24 hour (tons of ginger)
then fasted 24 hours.
today now I juiced and had some brown rice and vegetables
What healthy way of eating should I now pursue starting now.
( I am a vegetarian so no meat)
this all started for serious pain and it worked so I am willing to keep up with it I am looking for views opinions and information thanks.
p.s. I am hungry still and it has been 1 hour since I ate the food. I ate a lot ??
Answer: You will feel hungry for awhile, but don't give in and eat too much, as you will upset your system. Some pro-biotics would be best, either good yogurt with active cultures, or kombucha tea, or similar. Lots of water to rehydrate yourself, of course. Not too much fruit at first. Get some good tofu and maybe some lower-salt miso soup--very good part of any diet. Also, focus on sprouts instead of lettuce (broccoli is great).
Question: Can a raw food diet heal crows feet? Can skin wrinkles be healed from the inside out, if enough of the essentials like anti-oxidants are ingested?
Answer: Depends on how bad they are and how old you are, and if you smoke, drink, do drugs, stay out in the sun..........and other questions like that.
If you have crows feet, you might try some Palmers Cocoa Butter. Put a tiny dab on your fingers and rub them into the areas of the wrinkles for at least 6 months. Once before bed and once after you get up.
This stuff is awesome at smoothing out scars and wrinkles.
You can also go to the vitamin store and get specific vitamins for skin conditions like this.
You might also look into using oatmeal/shea butter soap on your face, if you arent allergic to it.....it helps with dry skin and aging skin.
None of this will work overnight, but after 6 months, you should see a difference.
