Question: healthy food? I'm a cheerleader and l need to start eating healthier. What are some good healthy foods and snacks? Oh and l love to bakeso the more baking the better(: oh and can you say how to make it please, but you don't have to. Thanks!
Answer: a quick and healthy lunch is a tomato and stuff it with tuna salad.
a whole tomato and cut the top off.
cut the tomato down the middle but not all the way through and turn the tomato and do the same on the other side.
You know have 4 slices the tomato is cut.
The tuna
one can tuna made with water, drained
pickle relish
cut celery just to taste
mayo or miracle whip
Mix all together and place the tuna in your tomato and enjoy.
You can also eat this for dinner.
If you don't like tuna you can use a can of chicken just make it the same.

Answer: Indian:B,fresh spices but bit fattening
Mexican:D,lots of oil and calories
Italian:B,pretty good but not too much cheese
Viet:A,i've been to viet restaraunts and they always serve fresh mint and vegetables with soup noodles and rolls.
Thai:similiar to Indian, more tang
Japanese:A,fresh seafood and vegs everyday
Chinese:C,ive been eatin dis everyday...makes me fart.

Answer: Fruits and Veggies are always your best bet. Find ones that you know that you will for sure eat. Stay away from carbs, like potatoes, rice, breads, if your worried about blood sugar. Eat fish, pork, chicken (no breading or skin). Drink at least 6-7 bottles of water per day. I am on Weight Watchers and am currently down 15 pounds in four weeks. You can start out by walking, even 10 minutes a day. Good luck to you. You can do it for a healthy life ahead!
Question: what healthy food item should my club sell? In two weeks my high school club is having a "All Clubs Food Sale", which is also known as international day for some other schools. In the past, we were able to sell lasagna, fried chicken, tacos, and other fun foods.
The school is now enforcing a "healthy food" rule and lots of clubs are clueless at what to sell. i was planning on selling frozen yogurt and fruit, but what else is healthy and that people are willing to buy?

Answer: Go to a local library or big bookstore and browse through all the books in the cookbook section. Start with the regular American foods. There are so many types of cookbooks targeting various audiences with any number of special needs. Even if you find one that includes "healthy recipes" scan through the recipes to see if those are foods or ingredients that you would actually buy, prepare and eat. Also notice if you have the necessary utensils to prepare the food - if you like that style of food preparation.
If you find a book that you like, note the title and author. If it's too expensive, ask for it as a birthday or Christmas gift.
The other option is, note what healthy foods you like to eat, for instance wraps, salads, stir fry cooking, soups, stews, casseroles. Then look up the recipes in the internet.
Question: How do I cook healthy food that also tastes good? I'm about 50 pounds overweight and while I want to loose weight, I don't want to sacrifice my taste buds. For me, food is the spice of life and I'd rather be fat eating good food than skinny eating bland food. Of course, I'd rather be skinny eating good food! So far every "healthy recipe" I've tried tastes like crap. Answer: When I lost weight, I changed nothing except portion size. Decrease your portion size. If you dont feel full, drink more water. water will become your best friend when you lose weight.Pretty soon, you're metabolism will change and you will start to feel fuller faster. And dont forget. EXERCISE EVERYDAY!!!!! Dont expect a noticeable difference if you dont exercise. I used to shudder at that word and now I feel sinful not exercising lol. If you dont exercise, your weight loss program may fail.You will lose weight slower and you may get discouraged because of the slow progress. I used to get tired within 5 minutes of running. Now Im training for a marathon. :)
Enemy Number One: Dont eat out. No soda or juice. If you get tempted, drink water to make you full.
Its a good time to hydrate yourself. The more transparent your urine is, the more hydrated you are. Try to drink as much water as you can so that you're urine is clear. That number of cups should be your goal everyday. This will also influence the amount you eat. My tip is if you dont have a cup of water by you every hour, get one. When you get tempted to snack, drink it. Limit what you eat.
Oh yeah. I lost over 100 pounds. :)
I know its shocking. Yes it freaked my friends out. I could even fit into some of my friends' (who are girls) jeans. And guess what?? I had the same food. Deep fried?? no problem. Its all portion control. But I will admit. I used Lent to jump start this lifestyle change.

Answer: ur old enough to know that u need then and to understand the importance of them so mayb u should force urself to eat them. unless ur allergic, it wont kill u.

Answer: Hi :-) Good luck with your weight loss and you're right super noodles are not great when trying to lose weight.
Beans on wholemeal toast is cheap and healthy, one of my absolute favorite breakfasts!
My main bit of advice to you is (if you can) make stuff in bulk buy some little storage boxes and freeze individual portions for later. This reduces the cost (the ingredients are cheaper in bulk as you so rightly pointed out), it's also quicker for when you can't be bothered\are too busy to cook a meal and reduces the risk of you resorting to takeaway or super noodles (a big risk, I know being a student myself). Things like chilli, pasta bakes etc are great for freezing and eating later. :-)
My other advice would be make your own packed lunch because it's cheaper than canteen food and add in fresh fruit and vegetable sticks for snacking on.

Question: What healthy food can I send to daycare for my 13 month old to eat for lunch? My daughter is 13 months old and has been eating lunch meat, cheese and veggies for lunch at daycare. Recently, she has become bored with her lunches. What can I send (finger food - she likes to feed herself) that is healthy for her? The Graduate meals are expensive and I'd rather she ate non-processed foods. Any suggestions?
Answer: Peel and seperate some clementines for her and put them in a small plastic bag that the daycare provider can open for her at lunchtime. Look at some of your more healthful cereal bars with the fruit inside. Sorry thats all I can think of right now.
Question: What is the most possible healthy food for my american pitbull terrier? My APBT is 1 year and 3 month old and weigh about 50+lbs. I' am currently feeding my pet iams dog food. I heard a lot of rumors that on the long run it's really bad for my pet. Answer: dont ever buy food for it from the grocery store, a lot of pet stores sell higher quality food but it still has a lot of fillers. we feed our 1yr old pit and 8week old pit chicken soup for the puppy lovers soul (large breed puppy). its like 28 bucks for a 17lb bag, but doesn't use a lot of fillers.
another good brand is EVO, you should check it out, its pretty expensive, but it gives them everything they need, we plan on switching to that as soon as our dog is off puppy food.

Answer: Oatmeal. You will have to find ways to spice it up every now and then. Try using honey to sweeten it. Try putting different fruits in it (bananas, strawberries, etc.). It is healthy, filling and will keep you satisfied for a long time.

Answer: Healthy Food is usually very hard to find. Frozen foods are fast and easy but healthy is not on the list. At an age of 18 I am really busy and I never have time for an easy fast fat free food. And buying them at high priced places is unbelievable. Here an amazing recipe I use when I need to go fast and to help stay on track and healthy.
