Question: hearth attack and death in the nyc marathon? marathons... one man 54 died finishing the nyc marathon two had heart attacks. My thoughts are they trained well for the marathon. well i hope so. what do you think happened. maybe they had a undicovered problem that wasnt caught in time or was just too much stress on the body?

Answer: They more than likely underestimated their strength & endurance level. While it is sad this happened, people unfortunately make unwise choices in their lives that result in imminent disaster.

Question: what will you do if your girlfriend's sister tell you that your girlfriend had an hearth attack and died..? ? but you obviously noticed that the sister does not like you....

Answer: You have to find out for sure if she did die or if the sister is just pulling your leg. And if she is I would let her know that is not a cool thing to say about her own sister or anybody for that matter. If she did lie I would let the sister know what she is spreading about her. But just in case I would find a friend that would know if she is gone or not don't just call her house or ask her parents if she is gone , just in case she is alive. But if she is gone call her family and tell them how sorry you are, and you might even send a sympathy card to them.Hope she is ok.

Answer: NO. that was not a heart attack. first off, u would have to go to the hospital to have ur clogged artery unclogged. secondly, u don't feel the pain in ur heart(until later maybe)... u feel a strong pain in ur arm. don't worry u r wayyy too young to have a heartattack! (plus u r in good shape) u're fine. don't worry... it was probably just HEART BURN. take some Peptobismol if it continues.

Answer: Sudden cardiac death is a type of heart attack...(25% of all heart attacks-and thats your first sign..i.e.sudden death)the other 75% are various types of heart attacks named after the location of the arteries in your heart that's affected. A ECG test (at rest) is always done as a baseline for a physical,but it's really not much help in determining a NEW case of coronary artery disease (CAD). Family history, gender(male),smoker,diabetes and cholesterol are much better predictors for CAD. The best test's in descending order to determine CAD is: An arteriogram,where they put dye in your arteries and take xrays,next would be a thalium stress test-(treadmill plus special IV dye),then plain stress test, *The "heart scans,lifescans" are getting better(these are like superfast "cat scans") The main problem with them is that they detect "old" hard plaque(calcium build up inside your arteries)but they don't detect soft plaque(fatty like deposits inside your artery walls) which can break off and flow downstream and cause strokes or coronary artery blockages..i.e heart attacks.

Get him playing instead of sleeping all day, and the extra activity should help him trim up as well. Fat pets are not healthy pets. Work with your dad on this one - your cat probably needs to lose a few pounds or it could very well shorten his life!

Answer: being a heart patient myself i wouldn't think it to be high. i suffer from the same disease, and it would be my thought that if your cardiologist thought you were at high risk they would have recommended you to get a pacemaker/defibrillator which would be a help should that occur. i have one but have been a heart patient for the last 14 years. have 9 stents and have had quadrupole heart bi-pass, and one heart attack. my thought to you would be that if you start felling chest pains get to an e-r right away or call for an ambulance. the ambulance would probably be best. take two 325 mg. aspirin those tests you were given are Pretty good at showing weather you're in trouble or not. ask them weather or not you should carry nitroglycerin tabs with you at all time just in case. if they say it's not a bad idea ask them to prescribe them that they come in a four pack of 25 tabs per bottle. that way you can keep some in different locations just in case. that's what i do. OHHHHH i didn't mention all the medications I'm on. it's a lot. stress is one of the problems. have you done a stress test? if you have and nothing showed up your probably o.k. at this time. good luck.

Question: was it a dream, hearth attack or a ghost i experenced? Ok I’m asleep and I feel pressure on my chest, I feel my heart is being crushed by a vice grips and someone is standing on my chest. While asleep I realise I am sleeping and try to wake myself. Not happing I struggle and struggle to wake up and after what seems like an eternity I wake up. But all I can do is move my eyes I can’t move I can’t call out. My wife is sleeping beside me. The pressure is getting more intense and I feel if I don’t get up I will die. The pressure is growing and I am panicking. I push and push and eventually force myself out of bed falling to the floor. I stand confused and puzzled and somewhat scared. I know this was not a heart attack, I may not eat the healthiest but I’m not too un-fit My wife is Chinese and when I was describing this to her she got scared because this is a common dream in chine of a ghost holding you down.

Answer: This was sleep paralysis, it's fairly well known. Google it and see if it sounds familiar.

Answer: That was a clip from Six Feet Under. Micheal C Hall doesn't even have the same haircut as he does in Dexter - I don't know why anyone would get them confused. Still, it is kinda funny.

Answer: If you keep living in fear and worry you may easily get your wish of an early death by stroke. You should see a psychiatrist and get some meds to calm you during your panic. I have a friend who has a blood and death-phobia, her phobia is getting worse lately. she even got a comatose and colapse when she saw the bloody meat on school's kitchen. Answer: hey...ya if phobias increases more ...they can cause heartattack...or they can injure any part of body like if they afraid and fall down....... just go and consult psychaitic doc...everything will b ok... :)

Question: I have horrible work stress, all the time I feel anguished, somebody feels like me? Answer: I'm not afraid they will fire me but I was in a similar situation last year. Working 12 to 19 hours a day everyday and they kept asking more of me. I finally just laid down the rules for them, no more than 10 hours a day 6 days a week and every other weekend off. If they didn't agree i would go get another job. I'm not sure what your background is but as for me I know I wouldn't be long without a job. Your health comes first, explain that you believe it is suffering and things must change. It is better to be unemployed than dead.

Answer: Your mattress isn't supporting your spine and as a result you are putting pressure on nerves. When you stand up the pressure is removed. (Think of yourself as a V shape sinking into the bed) But, sooner or later, it will be a heart attack. So sort what you can now and buy a new mattress and commit tomorrow to getting those 60lbs off.
