Question: What type of exercises should I start doing in order to get a lean body? I recently lost about 45 lbs and I have mostly flab and some fat. I'm not going to be able to go the gym for these next 3 weeks, but if someone could help me out with what type of exercises I should do when I'm in my house and as well as when I head back to the gym in order to get a lean body, I would really appreciate it. Answer: Try yoga, basic cardio, and basic strength training. Yoga improves balance, which requires almost every muscle in the body to work together and strengthen. It will also straighten your spine, which can make you stand about an inch taller for some people. Plus, it's very relaxing and great for stress relief.
Cardio like running, bicycling, swimming, and other things like that will help.
And then basic strength training could include push ups, crunches, squats, lunges, and other workouts including free-weights to work your arms.

Answer: I agree with sailormandave about the exercises. They will help you develop your muscles. The leanness will be more a function of your diet. Question: Why did Michael Jackson have really lean body? I mean there are those who are lean but healthy but he seemed really ill that he needed propofol in house. Of course 200 LB body can't do moon walk but I thought he at least had to be healthy while being skinny.

Answer: he had lots of disease and worked very hard, so inorder to maintain balance between this he depended on lots of medicines and then medicines started to conquer him, then day after day he got news diseases and at last pills was his food, then how can a person become fat? answer is he was not healthy at all.

I've been told it's 1 gram of protein to 1lb of your LEAN body wieght not total body weight.... Is this correct cause i'm currently taking in about 200grams of protein a day, about 140grams from shakes... worried this may be too much!

Question: Do you have to eat meat all the time to have a lean body? I'm not a vegeterian but I've never been much of a meat eater. I'll eat meat to the most maybe once a day. Sometimes once every 2 days. Is it really necessary to eat all that damn meat breakfast, lunch, and dinner to have a lean body?

Answer: Lean body mass IS muscle, if you want to lose other body mass try running 2-3 miles 4-6 times a week good luck.
