Liquid Vitamin
Question: Is liquid vitamin b better than vitamin b in tablets. I am trying to grow my hair out? Also can liquid vitamin b be to strong?
Answer: liquid vitamins are better...you want to consume the most nutrition out of vitamins you get... liquid vitamins are already broken down so its easier for your stomach to digest it... but if you dont chew the tablets all the way you end up missing out on vitamin B minerals because your stomach wont digest the food all the way...
whenever i get tablets i mash them down because of this reason...
Question: Is it the same mixing Vitamin Liquid in milk? I bought some enfamil liquid vitamins for my 1 year old. On the instructions it says you can give it by mouth or mix it in with cereal or milk so they could take it better. The vitamin smells nasty so i dont give it by mouth because she wont take it. Will mixing it in the milk give her the full amount of vitamin as if she took it by mouth?
Answer: yes, and it is less likely to cause an upset stomach. The iron in vitamin supplements can make your stomach queasy if you take it on an empty stomach or too quickly. The milk will help distribute it better and keep it from being too much all at once.
Question: Looking for a new liquid vitamin and mineral formula? I have been taking a prenatal vitamin for over two years and am looking for a change. I am interested in liquid because I think it will absorb better. I would also like it to be made from organic fruits and vegetables. Any sugestions?
Answer: VIBE from Eniva

Expensive, but noticeable results. Can be used in place of prenatals, (even when actually pregnant).
Question: Does anyone know of a good gentle liquid vitamin/ mineral? I have tried a lot of other things like acidophilus etc, and I need a good one for a slightly sensitive stomach. Just the liquid vitamin brand would be really helpful! Thanks. :)
Answer: There is this one but I don't think it is available in the UK and not sure how gentle it is on the stomach:
http://www.docformliquidvitamins.com/vmchk/liquid-vitamins/daily-multiple-plus/flypage.tpl/
In the UK, there is the well-known Floradix supplement. But that is mainly for a source of organic iron [that is gentle on the stomach] and does not contain much in the way of vitamins:
http://www.worldwideshoppingmall.co.uk/body-soul/floradix-liquid-iron-formula.asp
Another one is this 'Now Liquid Multi', but yet again, I don't know how gentle this is on the stomach but since it is iron free it might very well be so...
http://www.discount-supplements.co.uk/shopexd.asp?id=8162&utm_source=Nextag&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Nextag
You could contact the agent selling this and ask them that question, or ask them for contact details for the company manufacturing this..
You could certainly supplement that with Floradix or Spatone [another source of organic iron] if you wanted a reliable source of organic iron too.
There is also such as Mangosteen juice and Noni juice that are fairly rich in nutrients, especially antioxidants. And this blend in particular looks interesting...'Eniva Vibe - Liquid Nutrients'.....The vitamin levels are low....as listed but it is rich in antioxidants....though it is expensive...

I just found this website, and they do a few formulas:
http://www.liquidfood.net/
But they are not cheap!!!
I think the 'Now Liquid Multi' [2nd link above] would perhaps be your better choice as that is not too expensive and the vitamin levels are quite high. Do query the gentleness on the stomach however.
Hope this helps...
Best wishes.
Question: Anyone here use or have used a chewable or liquid prenatal vitamin? I am trying so hard to take my vitamins but the pills are massive and I choked on birth control pills, so there is no way I can get these down and crushing them makes me vomit. I was online and heard of Bloom'en Prenatal vitamin chews, they are citrus flavored anyone here heard of them or used them, or any other form of chewable or liquid vitamin I could use? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Answer: I used the same kind while pregnant because I couldn't swallow the regular kind. They taste ok when you chew them up but have a very irony after taste, but nothing too bad. Better then choking down those other kind or chewing them ugh I would vomit too, although I never tried.
Question: I got a maltese puppy yesterday and need to give liquid vitamin with syringe please help? The breeder gave me liquid vitamin and a few other puppy medicines with syringes but he wont seem to open his mouth at all when i try to give them to him. i can't even force it open because he wont let me what should i do to make it easier?
Answer: Rub the tip of the syringe with a turkey hot dog. Wrap your dog in a towel with just the face poking out, sit on the floor with your feet under you sitting over your dog. Now you should be able to place the syringe in the side of their mouth. Rinse meat smell off the syringe. If this doesn't work, have a friend sit over the dog holding their mouth open while u dispense.
I find faking them out with meat smell works for when my dog is begging for burgers in the car and won't ear his kibble, I touch the burger meat, pick up kibble, and he eats it right away. Because he thinks he's getting burger meat.
Question: what is the best iron free liquid vitamin? My hubby and I hate having to swallow numerous pills everyday and we are looking for a good multi vitamin in liquid form that is iron free
Answer: Truth be told, any answer given here will just be personal opinion (I can give you my opinion if you'd like). There are many higher quality companies out there that are readily available and well priced... just make sure the company has a good rating with either the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or USP (U.S. Pharmacopoeia), as those are the main quality assurance organizations (USP is for the U.S., GMP is for the U.S. and worldwide). Good luck and I hope I helped!

Question: What is the best liquid vitamin out there specific for body builders ?
Answer: Since exercise creates free radicals in the body, you might try an antioxidant liquid supplement. Top choices include those made from super fruits, such as the wolfberry or acai berry.
The wolfberry is one of the most nutrient dense foods, yet discovered. The wolfberry contains antioxidants, amino acids, including eight essential amino acids, minerals and phytoceuticals as enzymes and co-factors, and vitamins for better absorption-aiding in billions of chemical reactions our bodies conduct daily at the cellular level.
Hope this helps.

Question: Can I measure vitamin c (from liquid) by using chromatography? It's for a science project. I don't knowany other way i can measure vitamin c that comes from a liquid. Any suggestions?
Answer: You might check out Edmons Scientific on the web or catalogue for a test strip for testing the concentration of different substances. Then calculate the approximate amount by volume. Otherwise you will need a spectrophotometer and a base line like pure deionized water and the readings from a certified buffer solution.
Question: Does anyone know what is the best Liquid Multi vitamin? I want to start taking a liquid miltivitamin but don't know which one of where to buy from. Can you help me out?
Answer: Most of the multi-vitamins are useless and actually harm your body. There is one liquid multi-vitamin that has been formulated a unique way that tests relatively strong energetically that if you have your mind set on a liquid multi, this is the one I would choose:
XOWii Ultimate. The manufacturer is located in Costa Mesa, CA.
It does NOT contain the typical problem synthetics like Ascorbic Acid or Calcium Carbonate, etc.
EDIT: Liqui-Lea is a terrible product. It is made by the Shaklee company and is loaded with things like:
Synthetic chemical activator they are calling "B" vitamins. These are derivatives of Coal Tar from a petroleum distillate. They use the artificial sweetener, sorbitol and the "natural flavors" is another term accepted by the FDA to hide the use of MSG that is a terrible excitotoxin. The vitamin D in the product is from cholecalciferol that is the wrong form of vitamin D your body does not assimilate well. The vitamin E used is only one tocopherol (d-a-tocopherol acetate) and is only one of the 7 tocopherols that are found naturally in nature's complex of this oil soluble vitamin.
good luck to you
Question: What's the best vitamin or liquid medicine to give an older cat that has trouble jumping? My cat has trouble jumping and I've given her liquid glucosamine which seems to work well. But it's very expensive and I'm wondering if there's anything that doesn't cost that much that works just as effectively.
Answer: Liquid glucosamine is really the only thing that is effective for her your cat and that'll keep her out of pain. Maybe the vet would have some slightly less expensive but still effective. Glucosamines tend to be very expensive. All the best!
Question: Is there a chewable L-lysine vitamin or liquid for my 4 year old son? Hi, looking for a liquid or chewable tablet l-lysine tablet for my son to take as he has cold sores. Does anyone know of any liquid form or chewable tablet I can give him? Also if I give him a chewable, how many mg should I give him per day? Thanks.
Answer: I haven't seen a chewable form, but I have seen a powder form. However, the hard part of the answer is that every form of L-Lysine I've seen has been listed for adult dosages... you may need to find a doctor that knows about supplement use in children to find the proper dosage for your son.
Being an Amino Acid, I don't imagine there would be much of any problem with him getting too much, but that is more of a guess as supplements are rarely recommended for children under 4 unless it's by a doctor (for therapeutic use). Good luck and I hope I helped!
