Lose
Question: How can I lose a large percentage of my weight without losing my boobs? I recently joined a "biggest loser" competition --- With 10 guys. I'm the only woman. The deal is, whoever loses the most percentage of their weight (instead of everyone losing 20 pounds or whatever) wins all the money that everyone pitched in in the beginning. I have until April 1st to beat them. I want to lose the weight, and honestly, I probably need to, but I love my boobs, and I don't want them to go too! Anyone with good tips on how to lose but keep the boobs, please answer!
Answer: lose the boobs and win the competition then get a little bigger and those boobs will come right bad. Boobs are mainly fat so you just can help it when you lose weight.
Question: How to lose inches and flatten tummy w/out losing it else where on the body? I would like to lose weight/inches around my waist line, and flatten my tummy. I understand dieting will accomplish this along w/ exercise, however, I don't want to lose weight anywhere else. How can I cut the inches and slim my tummy w/out losing inches elsewhere? Thanks!
Answer: 1) go back in time
2) be born to different parents
Because there is no such thing as spot reducing fat. Your body gain and loses fat in a pattern that is pre-determined. By your genes.
Or get liposuction, that is pretty much the only way to do what you described.
Question: How can I lose fat around my stomach if I lift weights everyday and dont wanna lose muscle mass? I got a little chub left and i wanna lose it. But im afraid to do cardio because i dont wanna lose muscle mass from working out daily? How can I lose that weight?
Answer: Diets Don't Work...
You WON'T lose fat or look your best by just eating low carb, low fat diets, or low calorie diets. The truth is, fat loss comes down to eating in a way that's right for you. You're going to discover an easy way to trick your body into burning more by eating more with these delicious foods that satisfy your hunger cravings...
Cardio Doesn't Work...
Long cardio or aerobic workouts several days a week are the WORST WAY to burn fat. You're going to almost triple your fat loss and fitness results by exercising in the complete OPPOSITE manner for 45 minutes a WEEK with no cardio at all...
Crunches & Situps Don't Burn Belly Fat...
1000's of crunches, sit ups, or those crappy infomercial abs gizmos WILL NOT burn your belly fat or give you a flatter stomach and certainly not six pack abs. You're going to burn belly fat 5 times faster by using certain full body exercises that don't actually target your abs at all...
Late Night Eating Is A Myth...
Going to bed hungry is actually one of the WORST THINGS YOU CAN DO. You're going to discover you can boost the super powerful fat loss hormones in your body by eating the right type of tasty little dish an hour or so before you go to sleep...
The 'Fat Burning Zone' Is A Mistake...
The "fat burning zone" you see on most cardio machines is actually the LAST THING you want to follow to burn the most body fat. You're going to burn fat and calories for up to 3 days like we do with a VERY DIFFERENT kind of quick and simple workout...
'Toning' Your Muscles Doesn't Work...
Trying to "tone" your body by using light weights or high repetitions is a BIG WASTE OF TIME. You will experience ZERO results this way. But now you're going to be sculpting a leaner and sexier body that will burn your stored body fat for energy for years to come with this 1 overlooked technique...

Question: When you suffer major lose do you react to others lose differently? You have lost a parent/child/partner and your friend comes to you devasted becuase there 90 yr old Grandparent has passed. They have never had any lose in there life until then. They are upset with you because you are sorry for there lose but not emotional enough? Are you a cold person ? Do you now measure the level of emotional lose and then act accordingly? How do you handle it?
Answer: Each loss is relative. One might lose a parent and be relatively calm depending on their past history.
I've met people who went into shock and near collapse over the death of a pet. We can't project our own measures of importance into someone else's life. One of the major reasons for discord in society is the belief that everyone, in order to be normal and correct, has to think, feel and act as we do. We are completely intolerant of any deviation.
The trick is that we don't "measure the level of emotional loss". We let the other person's words and actions tell us what they need. Why decide what is the correct level?
If a friend needs comfort then give it. Don't measure it against your own and decide who has higher priority.
It is not a power stuggle in a friendship. If your friend is hurting just be there for them. You don't know what the relationship really meant to them. Maybe the grandparent was the one person in the family that they felt really understood them or was a cheerleader. Maybe this is the first time your friend had to face death and their own mortality. It doesn't matter. Say sorry and give them a big hug and a listening ear.
Good luck.
P.S. Lorelei I am so sorry for your losses. There are no words for what you've gone through. Thanks for sharing something so personal. Sculptress
Question: When you lose body fat does it happen all over the body equally or to certain parts lose more than others? When you lose body does it happen all over the body equally or to certain parts more than others?
Reason i ask is i have been on a diet and have noticed a big change all over my body and im a lot thinner all other my body. I have also noticed though that my breasts have gone really small and are half the size due to the amount of fat ive lost on my upper body. My thighs and buttocks are starting to go now slowly but gradual.
Answer: I gain weight on my stomach mostly but no matter how much I lose I can never flatten it.
When I first start losing weight it is more noticeable on my face, upper arms and chest.
You lose fat all over but where you lose it fastest/the most depends on what exercise you're doing, how much muscle and fat you have in different areas, body shape and stuff like that.
Question: Is it okay to lose three pounds a week through diet and exercise? I'd like to lose 100 pounds before January 1, but I've heard that if you lose more than 2 pounds a week you can lose muscle mass. If I exercise at the same time, will I still have ill effects from losing 3 pounds a week?
Answer: If you have 100 lbs to lose, then you can safely lose 3 lbs a week to start out with.. But, once you've lost about the first 20 then you will need to go down to 2 lbs per week tops.. Just make sure to weight train with that to keep muscle mass up! You do want muscle mass, it's much smaller then fat and each lb of muscle uses about 30-50 calories per day just to maintain. If you add 10 lbs of muscle on, that could be 500 more calories per day you can eat..
Since you have more to lose, you will initially lose more fat then you lose muscle, but, after the first 20 lbs, you'll start losing equal amounts of muscle and fat even if you're only losing 2 lbs per week. If you're losing it with a really low calorie diet, that will slow your metabolism too. I just don't want to see you set yourself up for failure, it's better to go about it slow and steady. I finally started eating healthy and weight training over a year ago. I've lost 15 lbs in the last year and only 1 lb of that was muscle thanks to weight training and going about it slowly. I also ate around 2000 calories per day. My goal wasn't really weight loss, or I would've eaten around 1800 calories..
Here's some info for you since it sounds like your still doing research... I've also include a calorie calculator to find out your maintenance calories. Most trainers now only recommend reducing about 15% below maintenance and then adding exercise to create the calorie deficit. So, if you maintain at 2000, eat around 1700 calories per day and add exercise..

Question: What is the fastest way to lose inches? I've been excersizing lately and I can tell I'm getting more fit and I've lost a few pounds but I'm pretty much staying where I'm at. I want to know not really the fastes way to lose weight, cause I know I might gain muscle and that will keep my weight up. I want to know how to lose INCHES really fast. I'm willing to work for it so let me know of any good excersizes or websites and good food to eat. If it's any help, I mostly want to lose on my thighs, my butt and lower stomach, I need to lose at least 3 inches on all those areas. Thanks!
Answer: Get a body wrap. They will wrap you up in ace bandages as tight as you can stand it for about an hour. This will cause the fat cells to excrete all the water that the fat cells hold onto. It will also decrease the size of the fat cell. If you keep it up and keep doing it, eventually, your fat cells will shrink permanently.
Question: How to lose weight off thighs and get a flat stomach? I need to lose weight in my thighs, there's some stretch marks on my inner thighs and I want to lose that. Also, I want to flatten my stomach a little, I don't have much stomach fat, just a little that I'd like to lose. And I have to complete this before school starts back up in 4 weeks.
Answer: You can go to the gym, That is the best choice
cos the gym instructors has so many techniques on what is the proper exercise for that...
Question: How to lose weight with a sluggish thyroid? I have early stage graves disease and it has made losing weight one of the most annoying and frustrating things ever. I have cut out fast food, eat less chocolate, eaten more healthier foods, I walk everyday and nothing. I have maybe lost two pounds but I need to lose more than that.
Answer: Duvet,
Trying to lose weight with an underworking thyroid is like a bird trying to fly without wings. Remember, thyroids regulate the speed of your metabolism, and this is crucial to ensure an effective use of foods and distribution of macronutrients in your system.
There are things wich use you should decrease, while there are other things you should remove permanently if you want to see results. By the way, chocolate, coffe, dairies, eggs, soy, cabbgae, broccoli and its whole family, white sugar, fried foods, sodas and high-stress proteins should be completely removed form your diet.
Duvet, dare to go on raw foods for at least 45 days. You will not regret it. When you do so, more than 300 enzymatic complexes in your body will be reset, and chances are that your thyroid may respond fantastically to it. One thing I know: you'll be benefitted greatly, even if your thyroids do not recover 100%.
Vitamin B6, Iodine from natural sources (kelp, seaweed, etc.), Magnesium, and--since you have Grave's Disease--an immune modulator like Transfer Factor Plus or others similar, will help you great deal.
Good luck! :)
Question: How do I lose weight in my lower half without looking like a total skeleton in my upper half? I have a typical pear shape and it is very difficult to lose weight without looking sickly up top. But I've been on a diet to lose some extra pounds, and already have lost a ton, but my lower half is still so huge in comparison to my upper half. Are there any good exercises that will target my butt and thigh areas in particular?
Answer: I was overweight all throughout high school, and couldn't really pinpoint what the problem was. I tried to eat right. I tried to exercise at least 3 days per week. I tried to limit my calorie intake. None of this seemed to produce any noticeable results. Well, it's been four years since high school, and I've just recently found a program that I have successfully lost 55 pounds with! Sound impossible? Think again... they guarantee your success, and if you follow the program, I do too. They offer helpful tips right on there front page! Here's the link:

Question: How much weight can I lose in two months? I'm planning on doing an hour and a half workout 3 times a week, eat healthier/less, for two months. My goal is to lose 15 pounds in that two months. However, its been a week since, and I've been losing 2 pounds, then after eating lunch or dinner, gaining that 2 pounds back. I feel like I'll never be able to lose weight!! Is it even possible to lose 15 pounds in two months?
Answer: It depends on how much you weight now. If you are just overweight (not bigger) then it will probably be harder to lose the 15 lbs but if you are obese or above it will come off faster if you work hard and eat right.
I don't know if you have seen the she "the biggest loser" but sometimes they will lose up to ten pounds in a week. That is because they are very large and they are also working out about 6 hours a day and they have the Registered Dietitian and fitness instructors. So on that show it is definitely possible but if you are doing it on your own be careful....here is something for you to think about:
1 lb = 3500 calories
if you can burn 500 calories a day x 7 days = 3500 calories (one pound)
Here is how I would recommend you to cut the 500 calories daily....burn 250 calories with a good workout. Get your heart rate up and you will burn the calories in less time. The other 250 calories a day I would cut it out of what you are eating. Think about how much you usually eat and then try to find a way to cut back by 250 and honestly that isn't really very much.
Anyway good luck I hope I helped a little bit! =)
Question: How can I lose weight for a college student? I'm a 20 year old female thats 5'7'' 160 lbs. All the fat is around my waist(love handles and tummy). I am planning on taking summer courses in my college for june and july and want to lose 30 lbs then. I have hypothyroid so it is difficult to lose weight but I feel like if I don't lose it now I will just get bigger. I can't eat red meat and I want to actually feel full when I eat. I signed up for 14 meals a week. Please give me advice on a good meal and exercise plan for me. Thanks!
Answer: Become a vegetarian and visit the athletic center three times a week. Lay off the sweet stuff, go easy on the carbs. Choose whole grains and brown rice, you know, eat smarter, be more active basically.
Question: How can i lose fifteen pounds in one month? I used to weigh 157 and i lost 30 pounds and i know weight 127. I have stopped dieting but continue to exersice so i have not lost weight since then. I am 21 years old and about 5'1 so my ideal weight is 115 and that is my goal. I want to lose 15 pounds in one month i just dont know how to anymore. Any suggestions?
Answer: Well I think it's totally about self-control:
Breakfast: integral toast and a 70-calorie yogurt
Lunch: Fruit (any kind, except banana) and a fish (not fried)
Snack if you get hungry: gum or 90-calorie diet bar
Dinner: Light soup (not a creamy soup, it has too much fat)
Or maybe a cup of special K or cheerios
Some other tips:
DON'T EVER DINNER AFTER 7PM, IT HAS BEEN PROVEN IN INVESTIGATIONS AND THAT HELPS A LOT, TRY TO DINNER BEFORE 7, I SWEAR IT'S AMAZING
I recommend you coffee in the morning, it gives you a lot of energy! (without sugar, or maybe splenda)
Another thing is to drink green tea twice a day, it burns fat and it's good for your health
And of course, do at least 50 abs per day
Good luck
Question: How can I lose weight fast without buying any sort of pills? I want to lose around 30 pounds but I don't want it to take a year. Also, I heard of a two week diet where you lose 20 pounds and you eat exactly what they tell you but I don't know where to find it. I want to lose around the arm/stomach/thighs area. So basically everywhere ha ha. Any tips?
Answer: try the Lil Jack Workout http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKCGe2Ezris
Question: How many calories should I lose everyday if I want to lose 20 pounds in a month? Im 13 and weigh 143 pounds. I dont think thats healthy. I want to lose weight around my tummy any suggestions how to? How many calories do I need to lose to lose 20 pounds in a month too?
Answer: 20 pounds in a month is impossible.
There are 3500 calories in a pound, therefore in 20 pounds, 70,000 calories.
Even if you had a 700 calories deficit (burning 700 more calories than consuming) it will take you 100 days (about 3 months).
You can't "target fat loss", it just generally burns off you. Doing sit-ups is an anaerobic exercise, simply: builds muscle, and therefore won't burn stomach fat, so don't make that common msitake. Just do some running, cut down the food a little bit, and heat healthier and you'll do pretty well.
Don't try to starve yourself, you will only end up binging. Trust me.
Question: How can i lose water weight in my abdomen without gaining it back? 2 months ago i tried losing my big stomach and succeeded. Problem was,a week after that, i gained my big stomach when i drank 5 glasses of water. So again i tried to lose it by sweating it all out, i became really slim but only for a 1week and my big stomach came back after drinking 1 glass of orange juice after martial arts class. Please tell if there is any way to lose water weight without gaining it back.
Answer: You have to drink about 8 glasses of water a day. Your body stores the water so you dont dehydrate but if you keep drinking water your body thinks it will keep coming so it gets rid of all the water its stored.
