Mineral Supplement
Question: Is there any vitamin or mineral supplement that is known to reduce the oiliness of facial skin? My daughter suffers from very oily skin and I wonder if anyone knows of any vitamin or mineral supplement which may help to blalance the skin.
Answer: Drink a lot of water to hydrate yourself enough. This will balance the oiliness. A glass of water every hour during the day will do the job. You may have to go to bathroom more frequently in early day but that shouldn't bother you!

Question: Looking for a good mineral supplement in liquid form that I can find at Target..or drug store..somewhere here? I am breastfeeding and want to take a good mineral supplement along w/ my prenatal vits and omegas. any suggestions?
Answer: I don't know of one available at Target or the drug store. My wife took GBG 10-in-One, plus a Folic Acid tablet because you need extra Folic Acid when you are pregnant (technically the baby requires it). We had a very healthy baby.
Question: Multi-mineral supplement. How does it work? Okay,
I tried finding it online but I cannot!
I take a:
Calcium Carbonate (333 mg)
Magnesium Oxide (133 mg)
Zinc Oxide (5 mg)
Copper Oxide (334 mg)
I take a supplement which combines all the above minerals 3 times a day, but i can't find any info on how it works, or why these minerals work so well together. All I know is i feel tons better while i take this supplement
Answer: Well calcium and magnesium are important for healthy muscle contraction and relaxation, zinc is necessary for a healthy immune system, and copper is important for red blood cell formation. Those are probably the mechanisms that explain why you are feeling better from taking minerals. Hope that is what you were wondering about!
Question: What Is The Best Vitamine and Mineral Supplement? To provide optimal health benefits?
Ever since I had my hysterectomy last year, I don't eat right, I can't sleep at night, and I just do not feel "well".
I think I need a good vitamine supplement to get me feeling like myself again.
Answer: Juice! I'm serious. Juicing is the single best way to get proper vitamins and minerals. If you can't juice then GNC has good multi's available. Megamen for guys, and I'm not sure what the equivalent is for women.
If sleep is a problem look at an extra dose of B complex on top of a multi vitamin. Also make a habit out of drinking green tea to feel better - it's loaded with good stuff.
BTW it may be worth it to check with your doctor to make sure the hysterectomy surgery is all good.
Question: how long do you take prenatal vitamin & mineral supplement? I am 9 weeks pregnant, have been taking every day prenatal vitamin & mineral supplement...do I need to take prenatal vitamin & mineral supplement through out my whole pregnancy? (this is my first pregnancy)
I have been feeling sick for 2 weeks only...now I have been feeling great for the past 2 weeks =) I don't feel any sickness at all (which I hope it will stay this way! lol) I am not complaining at all. I hope this is normal...though? I hear ladies feel very sick through out their pregnancy?
Answer: I am 35 weeks and still vomit every morning. But the nausea is not bad anymore so it is not too bad.
I also still take my vitamin's and an iron supplement every night. Mainly because I am a vegetarian.
Question: What mineral supplement is often prescribed to treat red blood cell deficiencies?

Peer-reviewed clinical studies
Have balanced nutrients that work together

Enzymes preserved

Questionable additives - color, preservatives
Many products that call themselves natural isolates only some know nutrients.
Only has to be 15% natural to be labeled natural per FDA
Heat processing destroys enzymes
Harsh binders and fillers

Question: Has anybody had any results from using miracle mineral supplement aswell as chemo for lung cancer? I know the alternative treatments for cancer are a bit of a minefield, & sometimes just hype. But am trying to help out my mother with seeing what might be able to be used to combat Lung cancer (non-smoker), or at least assist with the chemo (taxol). Yes I know that you have to be wary of anything with miracle in the name. Any info would be gtreat.
Answer: One of the risks taken with unknown supplements and vitamins are what effect they will have on a cancerous growth . . . cancer is a persons own DNA that has mutated . . . what may be good for the body may also be equally good for cancer growth. So, in effect you may wind up doing the complete opposite of your intention . . so it is a minefield . . a real risk because there is no literature one way or the other . . in other words I am sure you are thinking that what harm can it do to give this substance a try . . well the harm is apparent if the supplement ends up promoting cancer growth or shortens the patients life considerably and they die from the supplement use.
If that isn't bad enough for you . . there are some mineral supplements that have been debunked, misused and have lead to patient death.

If you are seeking out 'alternatives' you might try cancer centers that offer Integrative or complementary services . . this way you will know which products don't intefere with tradional treatments and you can work in conjunction with an oncologist for the complete benefit of your loved one:

Question: which is the best vitamin/mineral supplement or herb extract for improving the condition of the hair?
are
roemary
silica
royal jelly
of any use?
or is it simply a case of eating a good variety of fresh foods, with lots of fruit & veg plenty of tap water...and a minimum of stress?
Answer: Since the subject within your question hasn't been addressed, I'll answer that.
Rosemary is a good antioxidant, so it helps for basically everything in your body (including the skin and eyes), plus it can help to promote a more positive mood.
Silica is a mineral that is very good for many things within the body including the hair, skin, nails, and bones.
Royal Jelly is good for energy, immune system, and helps with general overall good health.
The most common and popular natural ingredients for helping hair health would be Silica, Biotin, Foti, and MSM. However, the important thing to remember is that none of these will help the hair that's already grown.... that hair is literally dead and only external things (cleansing shampoos, for example) will help the appearance or strength of your hair that's already grown.
When you take any of those hair health products, they will make the hair that is being grown stronger and healthier, and most customers notice a difference between the healthier hair and the hair that grew before they took the products. In any case, I wish you good luck!
Question: I want a mineral supplement I take to be evaluated by an independent testing lab in Columbus OH? Cannot find anything like this online; anyone have any suggestions?
Answer: You might try the OSU. They have a lot of labs and if you know someone they can probably help you out. I wouldn't reccomend just walking in and asking! But, if you know someone in the science program there then see if they can help you. That place is huge on research, I don't see why a phone call could hurt.
Question: Is Miracle Mineral Supplement for real? I hear a lot about this recently discovered natural mineral formula. Is it for real?
Answer: Yes, I've been using it for two years! My family has been cured of MRSA, Herpes, and high blood pressure. I have a paralyzed vocal cord from the 1976 "Swine flu shot". It kills those viruses also. So don't take the vaccine! It is very toxic! Check out this video and take control of your OWN health care!
