Question: natural remedies? what are some natural remedies to help keep control of seasonal allergies?
Answer: #1 REMEDY: APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
Apple Cider Vinegar is hands down our favorite remedy for stopping most allergies like pollen, dander, dust, animals food, etc. We aren't kidding! We wish more people knew about this amazing home remedy for allergies.
We have found that when apple cider vinegar is taken either as a daily tonic or at the first sign of an allergy (i.e., sinus headache, stuffy nose, watery eyes), one can completely stop the histamine response or allergic reaction.
There are a couple ways you can drink apple cider vinegar. One way is to put 1/8th cup ACV in 16 oz of water and sip it throughout the day. The other method is to gulp the mixture at once. Depends on your preference, really. Sometimes you just have to take this dosage once to stop the allergy and sometimes you need to take it up to three times a day. If taken at the onset of symptoms, allergies will usually disappear between 1 -3 hours after taking the first dose of Apple Cider Vinegar. If you've been experiencing allergies for a day or more, your symptoms will disappear after about 24 hours. If they don't, make sure you continue to take water/vinegar mixture for several days! The great thing about apple cider vinegar is that it appears to repair the immune system over time. So while you may take it every day for a month or two to begin with, you can taper off it and then only take as needed.
Question: Natural remedies? Are there any natural remedies out there for ovulating more often. I started tracking my temperature in October and have noticed I only ovulate every three months. I've seen my doctor, hormones are normal and the next step is the HSG procedure which I keep putting off because of expense and pain. Does anyone have any suggestions about natural remedies. I don't have a lot of time. I'm 42.
Thanks in advance
Answer: Yes, taking vitex (chaste tree berry) help regulate cycles...It takes a couple months of regular use to see good results but it works and it's safe to take until your 3 months pregnant or when your breastfeeding. The reason why they say only the first 3 months of pregnancy is because after that it can start to encourage milk production too early.

Question: What are some natural remedies for terrible low Blood pressure? I have repeatedly terribly low blood pressure and I need some home or natural remedies for this. It is usually anywhere from 110/ 75 to 90 over 60 well I had some pretty scary readings this morning. Close to the point where I would be going into shock. SO I need your natural remedies for low blood pressure. Meaning I need to bring my Blood pressure up.
I'm completely uneducated in this regard. So in advance thanks for educating me.
Answer: The numbers themselves are one thing, the more important question is what do you FEEL like? If you aren't dizzy or light headed or passing out with those low BP readings, there probably is nothing to worry about
There are some endocrine disorders that can cause low BP, but you would need to have blood tests through your physician to rule those out (TSH and cortisol levels at least)
Since people with high BP are adviced to cut back on salt...it is actually very reasonable for those with symptomatic low BP to make sure they are getting salt in their diet.
Question: What are natural remedies(home remedies) to treat an abscess? I am having an abscess under the skin. I have been taking anti-biotics for it as recommended by the doctor but there is no relief.
I need to know any natural remedies to treat an abscess which is under the skin
I had heard that dipping a washcloth in a hot infusion of chamomile tea does some work. But the abscess just became red and softer. Is it bad or good?
Answer: Add 1 cup vinegar to your baths(which you should take every night)
Put a small amount of anti biotic up your nose. I know it sounds gross, but that's what my doctor said to do
If the abscess is not responding to your prescription, then it might be MRSA, an anti biotic resistant strain of abscess. Discuss with your doctor about the possibility of MRSA testing. If it turns out to be MRSA, then they will probably change your prescription. Hopefully that will work.
Also, I know it hurts, but clean it every night. Also, if you're brave enough, STERILIZE your hands and just kinda take the scab off the top of the abscess. This should cause the pus to come out. Clean it up thoroughly, then throw away whatever you used to clean up the pus. This should relieve it a lot.
However, if the abscess does not go away after this, go to your doctor and they will lance it. It hurts, but it makes the abscess go away, and if none of the above stuff works, then your abscess will do nothing but get worse.
And make sure to keep the house clean, especially if you are living with other people.
Question: Any natural remedies for headaches and dizziness? I am a fairly healthy person, blood pressure and iron levels are good. Lately (the past week and a half) I've been having lots fo dizziness and some headaches. My chiropracter hasn't been able to figure out what's causing it yet. Though it could be related to allergies and quitting smoking (smoke free for 3 weeks now). Does anyone have suggestions for natural remedies to dizziness especially?
Answer: Hi! Your crown chakra is either being used too much or not enough or you are experiencing "Symptoms of ascension". Mother earth is involved in an energy shift and we're all a part of it. Many, many people have these same complaints and often have other "Symptoms of Ascension ". They visit the Dr. The Dr. runs tests and finds nothing wrong with them. Most likely not a serious thing and should go away. To balance your crown chakras, you can use color therapy. For this, wear the color purple or violet or blue (any shade from royal-navy). Aromatherapy: use fragrances of lavender, clary sage (very strong oil, though, frankincense, tea tree or chamomile. you can also meditate with a clear quartz crystal, amethyst or lapis lazuli. Good luck! Please click on these links. They describe the symptoms of Ascension
Question: What natural remedies are good for arthritis? I have inflamatory oesteo arthritis and it is very painful. Any suggestions for some natural remedies?
Answer: I'm not sure where you are from, but here in Canada they have an all natural medicine called "Lakota." It has been a best-seller for years and years here. I tried Glucosamine but it did nothing for myself, personally. Within 2 days of going on Lakota "Rheumatoid Formula" I was virtually pain-free, it was unbelievable. I stopped taking it the past few weeks to see if it really was the Lakota that was making a difference, and the pain has returned so I am going back out to purchase some more at the local drugstore. If you are a non-Canadian resident, I would still ask your local Pharmacist and check out their website. I know how terrible it is to have an auto-immune disease, especially on a bad flare-up day, and I wish you nothing but the best of luck and best of health.
Question: Which natural remedies work and which natural remedies don't work? It seems like everybody is going natural these days and using natural remedies instead of synthetic remedies to prevent and treat a variety of canine parasites and diseases. Have you tried any of these remedies? Which ones worked and which ones didn't work?
Answer: Planting lavendar in your garden can deter fleas from your yard.
We had a bad infestation when we moved into our new place. We treated the house but couldn't get them out of the yard.
Planted some lavendar bushes in each corner and now we are flea free (we still use monthly flea prevention too of coarse)
Could have been co-incidence but it worked for us!
Another one that worked for a friend of mine whos dog was having seizures was feeding green beans daily.
Sounds kooky but she weaned him off the meds he was on and fed the beans daily and he hasn't had a seizure for years.
Question: What natural remedies have excellent results in treating boils? Please share what natural remedies or concoctions you know really work.
Answer: It is important to have a healthy balanced nutrition plan to avoid them.
If you have one magna plasm will draw out the core in a beutifully clean fashion.
If you do not want to use magna plasm
peel a potatoe and leave it in the fridge over night.
Using a metal dinner fork grate a fine amount a little bulkier than the boil itself.
Gently squeeze out excess juice but it should still be moist. (make sure your hands are thoroughly clean)
place in a plaster and put the plaster on the boil with the grated potatoe in direct contact with the boil
change every 12 hours
It will draw out the core and leave a very clean hole.
This is gentle and relatively painless and great for children.
Another way is to use MANUKA honey 12 plus or more.
heat it on the plaster in a microwave for a few seconds until warm. Not tooo hot as you do not want to burn the skin.
Place on the boil
change every 4 to six hours.
This works faster but you can feel the core being drawn out
Once the core is out and the hole very clean
Keep covered with Lavenser essential oil. 1 drop neat on a plaster. This will encourage healing.
Question: What natural remedies work to reverse baldness? What natural remedies work to reverse and prevent baldness? My doctor says I have the early symptoms of a classic case of female pattern baldness. What do you think I should do?
Answer: Male or female pattern baldness are from the sae problem. Hair loss is often linked to poor diet, especially consumption of fried foods, hydrogenated oils and INFECTION (including bacterial, viral, fungal or parasitic) that may be in the scalp itself (often causing dandruff) or it may be a systemic infection. It's also linked to mineral deficiencies, intestinal infections (where waste products backup into the liver, that can affect the head and scalp. Mineral deficiencies can be caused by infections ANYWHERE in the body and a deficiency in co-factors that allow the body to even absorb what is consumed. Lack of sunlight, heavy metal exposure (especially due to bad dentistry that is rampant in the U.S. now due to the materials, chemicals, and procedures being followed as a "standard of care" dentistry), etc.
If your hair is coming out in clumps, that is typically a parasite. Since it is "female" pattern baldness, that is typically due to dihydrotestosterone (a derivative of testosterone) "DHT" that hardens the galea (skin on top of the head) and chokes the hair follicle to death, resulting in hair loss.
This type of hair loss can be slowed and even reversed by eating a high quality Oat Grass because the Oat Grass prevents the formation of the DHT.
There is some genetic issues, but contrary to popular belief, it is very small. Most are due to the above factors.
I found a great source for the Oat Grass in capsules that contain no excipients and works for most of my clients. Go to: (800) 370 - 3447 and order the Oat Grass and take lots of it. I think you will see a big difference. I would also get two other nutrients they sell. The Oat grass comes in a product they call "Greens Mix" and I get it in capsule for (they also sell it in powder, but most prefer the capsules). It is part of a 3 nutrient combination they call, "super food trio." I would get all three because this will give you most everything your body needs as a supplement each day and will only make you healthier.
Also, if you are experiencing excess testosterone or a low estrogen issue, you may want to consider an endocrine issue that could be contributing to this problem. Sometimes, PCOS happens because the ovaries are enlarging due to deficiencies in fat. If you are on a LOW FAT diet, or LOW SALT diet, you need to free yourself from the lies you have been told about fat and salt that is rampant misinformation being spread by people, doctors, etc. that have no clue what they are talking about when it comes to nutrition.
I strongly urge you to seek out a Certified Nutritional Therapist (not just a nutritionist) and have them test you for deficiencies. They can test you and tell you exactly what nutrients your body is lacking and help you with the correct supplements and quantities of that specific to you deficiency and also recommend diets that will make you healthy instead of that "make believe health" you get from drugs that ALWAYS damage your body in some way.
good luck to you

Question: What natural remedies can I take for Depression? I am a 40 yr old male with clinical depression and anxiety. Currently, I am under a physicians care and on prescription medication. However, I heard certain foods and natural remedies can help with emotions and endorphins. I want to eat healthier and live fairly close by to Whole Foods Supermarket? Can anyone help me?
Answer: I drink St. John's Wort tea. It's one of the more traditional herbs used to treat depression and anxiety. If you can, go for Traditional Medicinals brand. They're the only tea brand I've ever heard of to use medicine-grade herbs in their teas.
I brought the tea to my doctor, and she told me it wouldn't react adversely with my prescriptions, but it's always good to check depending on what you are on. Particularly with mood-altering meds.
Endorphins are also good, and you can get them by exercising. For an extra boost, try some positively-reinforcing yoga. Yoga is great because not only does it work out your whole body and stretch your muscles, but it's a way to work out that's also soothing to your mind. Regulating your breathing and meditating can also add to your overall mental health.
I've included some of my favorites below. :) Good luck! Depression is a heck of a journey, and we all need what help we can get.

Question: What natural remedies would you recommend for help with shyness and fear of public speaking? I'm looking for herbs and natural remedies that will take the edge off that might help me to relax in social situations. Thanks
Answer: Take deap breaths, practice what you are going to say when public speaking and imagine the entire audience has no clothes on!
Question: What natural remedies would you recommend for slipped disc- and hip joint pain? Have had a slipped disc and as I get oder the pain never really goes away. I don't want to use conventional NSAIDs as I had nephritis twice as a child. Now I notice I'm also getting a pain in my hip joint when I lie on it. I'd like to know if there are natural remedies that work for relief of chronic pain.
Answer: * Lie on your back with your knees bent. Keep your back in a neutral position — not overly arched and not pressed into the floor. Avoid tilting your hips up.
* Cough to activate your core muscles. Holding the contraction in your abdominal muscles, raise your hips off the floor.
* Align your hips with your knees and shoulders. Hold this position and take three deep breaths — or for about five to eight seconds.
* Return to the start position and repeat. For a challenge, try alternately extending one knee while maintaining the bridge position.
This actually works. Breathing and alignment plus the movement is an excellent home remedy. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Question: What are some natural remedies that work for mild depression? I have mild depression and I don't want to take prescription meds. I know they help some people but I want to try some natural remedies.
Which remedies/herbs/vitamins work well?
Answer:
St Johns Wort is a very good herb for depression and works well.
It would also be worth trying to find out what might be causing the depression.
Maybe you could get a book on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy which would help you to understand all the different reasons why we can feel depressed and it would also show you new patterns of thinking and behaviour to help deal with your depression.
The Feeling Good Handbook is one of the best books for this.
