Question: What is the best product for cleaning out a car radiator? I need to clean the gunk out of the radiator on my KIA Sportage and I purchased a Prestone product that you mix with water and then drive about 6 hours and flush it out and refill with antifreeze. I don't know anything about this product and I would like some input about it and about other products that might work better. The product I have is called "Prestone - Super Radiator Cleaner"

Answer: Normally alote of these products are very good, but you are going to have to flush the system out many times to get this out of the cooling system. Make sure you have the heater on when doing this so you have flow, and keep the heater on during the total process. Also after run clear water in the system for 2 days and watch for leaks, around radiator, hoses, clamps, water pump, and cylinder head area. Normally having a dirty coolant system, you had been losing coolant for a while so look for where the coolant has been going for the last year or so.

Question: What product would you use to clean a very dirty plastic tub and shower surround? I have looked on the internet and ordered recommended products from there. I have gone to the hardware store and purchased the product they suggested. I have tried oven cleaner as directed. I have used bleach. I am disabled and can only reach a little way in to scrub and then I can't scrub very hard. Nothing I have tried has worked. Does anyone have a suggestion to share with me? There has to be a way.

Answer: I've used toilet bowl cleaner and a car wash brush that is soft bristle. the car brush usually has a long handle and sort of looks like a wallpaper glue brush. I squirt the whole bottle of toilet bowl cleaner where the worst spots are and allow it to just set on there. Then take the brush dipped in water and start scrubbing in circles. It rolls off easily. I've tried many things too and I am 66 yrs young and it is a job for sure. But this seems to work great for me. Then after moving your brush around finally rinse it. I am lucky and have a hand held shower so that part is easy. The floor of the shower wasn't quite as easy so I used a pumas stone and more cleaner and it all looks like new. Then there are shower cleaner polishes but my home is a mobile home and my shower is fiberglass and it suggested using self polishing car wax. So just by doing it in sections it works good to last a bit lasting longer before it needs cleaning again. Another very good product is the Bar Keepers scouring powder. I use it for stubborn spots and a little elbow grease. It works better than all the others. I cleaned my brass lamp with it and it worked better than Brasso or other metal cleaning products. So that is worth the buy to me. Good Luck.

Answer: Good for you for taking care of your appearances! Trust me, girls like guys that actually look like they care ;) First off, what's your skin type? Do you find when you wash your face your skin get's really tight, even sometimes after you apply a moisturizer? If so it's dry. If it get's a little tight, but goes away with a little time or a light moisturizer, you've got normal skin. If it feels oily most of the time, and doesn't get tight, you've got oily skin, and if it gets oily, but feels tight after you shower, you've got combination skin. Figuring that out first can eliminate a lot of products that might be good for other people, but won't be so great for you. Also, for brighter skin, try to exfoliate 1-2 times a week, and find a nice light weight moisturizer that won't clog your pores, preferably with an SPF seeing as its summer time. If you have dry skin, a light foaming face wash with moisturizer is best. Only use it once a day, and if you get sweaty or dirty. Over washing dry skin can aggravate it and further agitate acne. This will dry out the pimple with out drying out your face. Oily and Combination skin (based on your description I'd guess you fall into one of these two categories) you need a stronger face wash that will get right into your pores, to stop acne before it starts.
