Question: What's the Best Resveratrol Supplement that I Can Buy Online? I have read countless articles online and in health-related magazines that Resveratrol is one of the most potent antioxidants out there (not to mention that it helps you lose weight, improves skin conditions, and countless other benefits), and really want to try one of the supplements available out there. Problem is, there's so many.
I'm looking for one that actually produces results please!

Question: What is the Best Resveratrol Supplement? I'm looking to start taking resveratrol supplements, but I don't know which one is the best resveratrol supplement. If you have experience with resveratrol supplements, or know of a good link where I can find info on them, please let me know. Thanks! :)
Answer: Hi Jessica,
I've been taking resveratrol for a little over four months, and I haven't looked back! I'm happy to see people are finally realizing that resveratrol sources like red wine don't yield the benefits that resveratrol supplements do.
Anyway, here's the article about resveratrol and resveratrol supplements you asked for, I hope you find it as useful as I did:

Question: Has anyone taken a resveratrol supplement or know of someone who has? How long did you take it? What specific supplement did you take? What kinds of results did you get from it?
Resveratrol is the ingredient found in the grape skins. It is found in red wine.
Answer: I have taken Resveratrol a few times in different formulas. I took Jarrow Resveratrol, Nature's Way Resveratrol and an antioxidant combo that contains Resveratrol, and grape seed extract.
Resveratrol is an antioxidant and can be helpful for many ailments, but it unlikely you will notice a difference from taking it because it works on a cellular level, its not a medication that affects specific symptoms as far as I know. Most likely it would inhibit disease in the brain and heart, and reduce the affects of aging, but you don't wake up one day and have a new heart, brain, or look 20 years younger of course!
Here is a link to numerous published medical studies on Resveratrol:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez
More studies need to be done to determine all the benefits of resveratrol. There does not appear to be any toxicity findings so far.
Question: What is the best Resveratrol supplement? 'Best' being considered, in this case, highest relative amount of trans-Resveratrol and lowest amount of carcinogens.
Recommended distributors appreciated.
Answer: USP Verified Dietary Supplements
Graphic of USP verified Mark
What the USP Verified Mark Means on a Supplement Label
The distinctive USP Verified Mark represents that USP has rigorously tested and verified the supplement, to assure the following:
1. What's on the label is in fact in the bottle—all the listed ingredients in the declared amount.
2. The supplement does not contain harmful levels of contaminants.
3. The supplement will break down and release ingredients in the body
4. The supplement has been made under good manufacturing practices.
USP is an independent, not-for-profit organization. No other organization in the U.S. that tests supplements is recognized in federal law as the nation's official standard-setting body for medicines and supplements. USP standards are enforceable by the FDA.
Why it's Important to Know What USP Verified Assures
1. Integrity Tests based on USP standards have shown that contents of many supplements sold in retail stores don't match the label and that some supplements contain significantly less or more than the claimed amount of key ingredients. There may be a serious health risk when supplements taken to prevent a specific health problem do not contain ingredients in appropriate quantities. You must be sure of the identity and amount of ingredients in your supplements if you want to be sure you're getting value for your money.
2. Purity Some supplements may contain lead, mercury, other heavy metals, pesticides, bacteria, molds, toxins, or other potentially harmful contaminants. You must be sure these contaminants are not present at levels that can cause health problems.
3. Dissolution If a supplement does not break down properly to allow its ingredients to dissolve in the body, it means you won't get the full benefit of its contents. It's important for you to know that the supplement has been tested against recognized standards, as the USP Verified Mark indicates.
4. Safe manufacturing Assurance of safe, sanitary, well-controlled, and well-documented manufacturing and monitoring processes is proof that the supplement manufacturer is quality-conscious and concerned for your well-being.

Question: Is there anyone out there currently on the supplement Resveratrol? If so, how long have you been taking it and for what reason(s)? Have you noticed any positive results? How much do you take and why? Do you use it in conjunction with any other supplement?
Answer: I'm actually taking a supplement called Bee Anti. It's got 2000 mg of resveratrol, as well as bee pollen and royal jelly. I work a lot of hours - first at the day job and then on our home businesses. I also don't get as much exercise as I should.
I started taking Bee Anti and I did notice that I generally felt better. The biggest difference I noticed was that my skin cleared up a LOT. I'm almost 40, and I've always had problems with acne. Now I'm not having any problems at all, and the resveratrol was what made the difference.
The dosage for Bee Anti is two caplets per day, so that's what I'm using.
As far as other supplements, I do take glucosamine for joint health and a multi-vitamin. Hope that helps!
Question: Is the supplement Resveratrol really as good as Dr Oz says? have you tired it, do you know of anyone who has and is it worth the try at least. You honest opinion is appreciated. Please I am only wanting to know about this supplement. Thanks
Answer: Honestly, only if you get it from someone who knows what they are doing. Over and over I see people who act like it doesn't work and there is no quercetin in it OR it's a cheapO Walmart version of the supplement. It must have quercetin unless in liquid form!
Over and over I hear nay sayers spout about alternative meds being bunk when DUH only SOME of them are bunk and inferior. Anything on the shelf at Walmart is likely to be pretty bunk. Not everything works for everyone but quality resveratrol will do some DNA repair. It might not be enough for someone's cancer if they have a tooth infection or something, but it's got a great track record with certain types of cancer.

Esp. Prostate cancer.

I will give you a product recommendation. It's a well researched remedy and you can find a lot of university studies on it. The track record is solid on this one.
Question: Where to buy the best and cheapest Resveratrol supplement online?
Answer: And you need it as much as because . . . . .?
People spend $20 billion per year on vitamins and supplements. According to Everyday Health, here's an article that will tell you why . . . those PRODUCTS by any other name do NOT WORK. It is false advertisements.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) doesn’t have to approve supplements — no agency in the United States does. So it’s up to consumers to bring health concerns to light. “It’s important to understand the difference between over-the-counter medications and dietary supplements,” say Pieter Cohen, MD, an internist at Cambridge Health Alliance and instructor at Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, Mass. The FDA gets involved only after the fact, if the supplement later appears to be causing harm. By that time, the supplement may already have harmed many consumers who used it. “The burden of proof is on the FDA to determine [a supplement] is dangerous and remove it from the market,” Cohen says. Consumer complaints are the primary trigger for investigations. One recent investigation of the dietary weight-loss supplement ephedra resulted in it being banned for sale in the United States.
Question: Does anyone else know anything about the supplement resveratrol? I have been taking it for about four months, and would like to know what others have experienced with it, as well as any other input anyone can provide. Thanks!
Answer: Resveratrol is an antioxidant that could also be commonly found in wine. So far, by taking resveratrol for about a year now, I've noticed lesser wrinkles and smoother skin. I've also noticed that I feel more energetic at work. I am personally using this brand of supplement. http://www.slideshare.net/janetmoeller/x3-resveratrol-review-benefits-of-red-wine
Question: Is Resveratrol supplement good for all ages?
Answer: This question was asked previously by another asker and I answered that also. My apologies therefore that this is pretty much a copy and paste of my previous answer.
Resveratrol's chemical structure is similar to a phytoestrogen and may have estrogenic properties. Thus it may interfere with oral contraceptives and it is advised that women who are pregnant or intending to become pregnant should not use the product. Also, it is advised that it should not be taken by children or young adults under eighteen, as there are as of yet no studies showing the affects on children's and young teens natural development.

I don't know why you are considering taking Resveratrol but you might like to watch Horizon's: 'Don't Grow Old' documentary: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUge7Wcj9cI
[this is part I of 6] ....it is worth watching the full documentary.
It pretty much debunks the "hyped up" value of resveratrol in terms of what is being touted out there really. Taking antioxidants will no doubt help your general health and well-being but they are not the be all and end all, so to speak. And ageing is certainly not so cut and dry to be down to oxidative damage alone. Genetics plays a major role. If you watch part 6 you will pretty much come to the conclusion also that your attitude to life plays a major part. Allahu alim.
Best wishes.
Salaams.
Question: I'm 24...is that too young to be taking the Resveratrol supplement? I know Resveratrol has several benefits, one of them being it reverses/prevents aging. Am I too young to start taking this? Thanks.
Answer: No you are never to young.
The sooner, the better.
Resveratrol is not addictive or known to be having side effect.
Unhappily it doesn't reverse the aging.
It's maybe a preventer causing partial slowing in aging.
Question: What is the best brand of the supplement Resveratrol? any other good youth supps welcomed.............

Question: What all the things will be cure or prevented by using resveratrol? Tell me what all the things will be cure or prevented by using resveratrol. And also tell me is that resveratrol supplement is use to prevent the cancer , blood sugar , inflammatory …
Answer: What is Resveratrol? The excitement surrounding Resveratrol is understandable. Having the capacity to deliver cardio-protective and chemo-protective properties are not simple health benefits that you can find on food nutrients. In demonstrating promising results to recent laboratory tests in promoting overall well-being, the nutrient has been making round of headlines in newspapers as well as in numerous health magazines. Perhaps an in-depth discussion of its properties will be helpful in understanding what is Resveratrol.
Resveratrol is a nutrient that is found abundant in plants. Popular sources include red wine, grapes, blueberries, and peanuts. In food supplements, it is found in pills containing red wine extracts, grape seed extract and polygonum cuspidatum extracts. Originally, the substance was isolated by Takaoka from the roots of white hellebore. Later on, the substance was discovered to be present in Japanese knotweed. In 1992, along with the popularity of the health benefits of drinking red wine, it was suggested that perhaps the secret behind those benefits is its high Resveratrol content.
Muscadine is the variety of grapes that is widely used in making red wine. In its skin, Resveratrol serves as its shield and protection against diseases. Resveratrol is actually produced at the outer layers of a plant and its fruits to serve as their first line of defense against the diseases brought by pathogens. The substance was found to be effective in fighting the adverse effects of invading fungi and bacteria in plants. Hence, it protects against infections. While Resveratrol is found present in the vines, stalk and fruit of grape plants, the fermentation of plant extract improves Resveratrol content. The fermentation process of plant extract is an important determinant of Resveratrol content. In this light, grape juice is not a good source of Resveratrol, but red wine is!
Among the other plant sources of Resveratrol, red wine contains the highest levels of this nutrient. Regular and moderate intake of red wine is therefore essential in ensuring sufficient Resveratrol intake. Red wine typically contains 0.2 to 5.8 mg/L depending on the variety of grapes used. Generally, red wine has higher Resveratrol content than white wine. Red wine is fermented with the skins of the fruit while white wine is fermented after the skin was removed.
Scientific studies were performed to determine the extent of Resveratrol's health benefits. the addition of Resveratrol to the diet of yeast, mice and fish have shown positive results such as increased life span by up to 50%, lowered cholesterol, increased activity and minimal cell damage as related to the rate of aging. In many cases, the nutrient's ability to fight cancer was proven. It inhibits tumor activity and the initiation, promotion and progression stages of cancer.
These results have concluded that the nutrient has enough properties to help prevent or manage cancer and cardiovascular diseases and other related conditions, particularly those that are age-related. On the other hand, the physical benefits of Resveratrol are helpful in enhancing athletes' performance. In effectively maintaining healthy levels of insulin and glucose, it helps establish excellent metabolism rate which allows the body to produce enough energy and strength to bear with the physical demands of sports training.
With the scientific community's continuous pursuit to optimizing the health benefits of Resveratrol, we can expect more of its significant health benefits in the future. For now, it is nice to know that it only takes a sip of a relaxing red wine and a pill of nutrient supplement to enjoy the benefits that Resveratrol brings.
