Question: Smoothie.!? can strawberries, sunny D, and milk make a smoothie. please help me. i have no idea.!
Answer: sorta but maybe not the sunny D.
You can try:
Ingredients:
Strawberries
Milk
Ice
Yogurt or IceCream (if you want)
Sugar (if the strawberry isnt sweet enough add alittle sugar)
First put the Ice in the blender. Then the strawberries then the yogurt if you are having yogurt . Finally, you put Milk in last so that you won't make a big mess. Blend it for 15 seconds or more depending how frozen or how juicy you want it. Taste it. If the smoothie doesn't taste tasteful add a little sugar and blend for a second and taste it again. If its still not sugary enough for you, you can try again but if you want it to be more healthy add a squirt of orangejuice but JUST BARELY.
Hope that helps! <3
Question: What are healthy smoothies for breakfast and what should I eat with my smoothie? This might sound weird but i was wondering if a strawberry-mango(mabey even bannana) smoothie served with some pasta in milk would be healthy. I figured pasta defintly gives you energy and its an old family recipe to put it in milk which also provides calcium. Im just trying to eat more fruit and vegetables.
Answer: Well if you want to have more vegetables and fruits then why not make a smoothie using that you can use all kinds of fruits and vegetables also use as much low-fat or skim milk you want. But i do not suggest eating pasta because although fruits have carbohydrates on them they are good crabs but pasts contains bad carbohydrates which means if you are trying to loose weight you'll have to try harder than before!
Question: What's the difference between a smoothie maker and a juicer? I've just been given a kenwood smoothie junior maker for my birthday and I've been making smoothies without any problems, but now I want to try making some juices.
In particular, I want to make carrot juice, but I'm worried that my smoothie maker won't be able to process the carrots. (ie too fragile or not enough power) so, is there any difference between a smoothie maker and a juicer?
Answer: Yes! Your smoothie maker will turn that carrot into baby food mush. The juicer will extract only the juice and keep the mush separate. Good luck!
Question: Blender ratings: difference between ability to smoothie and puree? I'm in the market for a good blender. In reading Consumer Reports, they rated a Kitchen Aid excellent for purees and very good for smoothies. They rated a Braun blender exactly the opposite of the KitchenAid (very good for purees, excellent for smoothies). Isn't the ability to puree or smoothie the same thing?
Answer: No, not the same. Smoothie refers specifically to very thick drinks, often containing ice, that will load the motor heavily.
I suggest you take a look at VitaMix units, too. We have one that we've used for something like 10 years. Yes, it was expensive. But it's got a BIG honkin' motor, handles both wet and dry stuff, and I have yet to come up with something it won't grind up.
Question: What is a good smoothie recipie with these ingredients? What is a good smoothie recipe that serves one-two people? I have Strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, OJ, Grapefruit juice, naked juice (blue machine), vanilla, sugar, and ice available to use. Maybe something else to add, but I can't think of what else would be needed in a smoothie.
I also have frozen banana, but I don't like my smoothies too thick and sweet unless it is from ice and strawberries.
Answer: ok...First get 6 strawberrys in the blender, then naked juice...then get a ziplock bag and put 6 ice cubes in it and crush them till u have small chuncks...and blend...(P.S. if its to thick, put some OJ in it.)

Question: What is the white liquid put into Smoothies at smoothie stands? I go to a smoothie stand at the mall that I go to and I LOVEE them! I've tried to get recipes off of the internet but none of them taste the same. Do you know what the white liquid stuff that they put in the smoothies is?
No I've asked them before and they wouldn't tell me! Thanks anyways.
Answer: It might be corn syrup. I think that's nice and sweet and has a distinct flavor. The people in Philly lunch carts use it to make their smoothies.
Question: How to make a strawberry smoothie without milk? I usually don't have any breakfast, but that's bad so I decided to try having at least a smoothie. I have the blender and the strawberries, it's just that I don't know how to make a smoothie without milk, because milk in the morning makes me sick.
Does anyone know how to make one? And it would be nice if it weren't too sweet.

Question: How can I make a really good, creamy smoothie like the resteraunt makes? Have you ever been to tropical smoothie?? Well there smoothies are delicious! I just got a really nice blender and I want to know the secrets to making a good smoothie! Please Help!
Answer: I used to work at a smoothie bar. That was one of the biggest questions that the customers would ask. "How can I do this at home?" And I would answer...
The first thing that you need is a high quality blender. Sounds like you already accomplished that. Good job! :)
Next, you need good base ingredients. If you want to learn how to make a smoothie correctly, you must understand that smoothies need a base. A base creates a creamy texture for the smoothie. It is the “body” of the smoothie, so to speak.
If you were to let a smoothie with no “base” sit, the blended fruit settles more quickly to the top. The base thickens the smoothie, suspending the fruit through the whole drink for a longer period of time.
Base ingredients can be bananas, pears, coconut milk, mango, avocado, nuts, etc.
To make a delicious smoothie, you need ripe fresh or frozen fruit. Fruit that has a lot of flavor. Otherwise, you will find that the smoothie will be bland and tasteless.
Here are some of my favorite smoothie recipes:
Brainy Blueberry Smoothie
1 large ripe banana, peeled and sliced
1 cup blueberries, frozen
1 packet of vanilla stevia
1 tsp of lemon/lime juice
1 cup of pure water
3-6 ice cubes
First, pour water and juice into the blender. Second, place the banana on the bottom with the frozen berries and ice on top. Blend on low for 10-20 seconds. Then increase the speed to medium/high until creamy smooth.
The Mango Blues
1 large ripe banana, peeled and sliced
2/3 cup mango, frozen
2/3 cup blueberries, frozen
1 packet of vanilla stevia
1 1/3 cup of pure water
5 ice cubes
First, pour water into the blender. Second, place the banana and stevia on the bottom with the frozen fruit and ice on top. Blend on low for 10-20 seconds. Then increase the speed to medium/high until creamy smooth.
Basic Pina Colada Smoothie Recipe
1 banana, peeled
1 orange, seeded and peeled
1 cup pineapple, frozen
3/4 cup mango, frozen
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup pure water
Pour milk and water into the blender. Toss in the orange and banana with the frozen fruit on top. Blend until smooth. Serves 2
Almond Joy
1/2 cup raw almonds
4-8 dates, soaked in the water (depending on your desire of sweetness)
1 packet of stevia
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tablespoon cacao/chocolate
1 1/2 cups water
16 ice cubes
First, blend the almonds, dates, stevia, vanilla, cacao, and water. Then, add the ice and blend on high until smooth. Serves 2
I hope that this helps you find your perfect smoothie recipe. Enjoy!
Question: How to make smoothies like the ones from Tropical Smoothie Cafe? Does anyone know how to make the smoothies that they make at the Tropical Smoothie Cafes? I've watched them put in the fruit and I am assuming sugar and ice but do they use milk too? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks =)
Answer: Not familiar with the Tropical SMoothie Cafe, but I will give a few suggestions.
You are right about the ice.
You do not need to add sugar, the fruits have a ton of natural sugar, frutose, that accounts for the sweetness, sugar would just make it unhealthy.
Typically, one would not add milk either, but either frozen yogurt, ice cream (decreases the healthiness), or I tend to use just regular vanilla yogurt.
Question: How to make a cheap, easy smoothie without a ton of ingredients? I am on a budget but love smoothies. I want to know how to make a simple cheap smoothie without having to buy a bunch of ingredients.
Answer: 1 yoplait yogurt
1/2 a bag of mixed frozen berries
1 banana
1/2 cup of orange, apple, or adwala juice
That is the recipe for deliciousness! Blend well.
Question: How do I make a good strawberry smoothie with these ingredients? I have frozen strawberries, apple juice, peach/strawberry yoplait yogurt. Can someone tell me step by step on how to make a good smoothie with the ingredients i have? and tell me what major ingredient I must have for a good smoothie.
Answer: I would put yogurt about 1cup in the blender. Add about hand full of slightly thawed strawberries (place in microwave for 1 minute), splash of apple juice and about 2 hand fulls of ice. Blend until you do not see any large chunks of ice. Enjoy!!
Question: How to make a good creamy strawberry smoothie? I don't have many ingredient's good for making smoothie's. I have strawberrie's, frozen pineapples, milk, and low-fat, plain yohgurt. Any good recipe's for creamy and thick smoothies?
Today I made a smoothie with some yogurt, milk, strawberries, and some frozen pineapple. It was good, but I was wondering, how many part's milk/juice, and how many parts yogurt and fruit should a smoothie be to be nice and creamy?
Answer: add lots of summer fruits and bananas to the mix and blend - delicious!
Also, add some kind of fruit juice - but not too much if you want it thick (:
