Question: How to start a home based web designing company? What it needs ,How much will be the starting expense? Hello everybody ,I want to start home based web designing business of my own and learning web designing right now. I have just started learning web designing .Can any one tell me how long it will take to start the business and gaining enough skills that are necessary to open the business? And how much will be the cost of starting it including everything like important soft-wares ? I just have a laptop and internet connection. What I need more and Can you ,please , suggest some good tools(prefer free tools). How should I start it?
Answer: It appears that you have never been in business before, therefore, I would strongly recommend that you talk to a business counselor before you do anything especially spend money. You have to determine whether you'll start a web only based business or one with a store front. I'd call the local office of SCORE (go to the link below and input your zip code to find the chapter nearest you), the advice is FREE.
The counselor at SCORE will most likely advise you to write a business plan which is very good advice because it will force you to dig out all of the start up details and the costs of starting this small business and force you to also understand all of the aspects of this business including the customers you'll concentrate on (your market) and how you'll go after them.
You'll need to register the business with your state controller's office and make sure that you check to see whether any city and county licenses are needed where you live. All of this will come out in a business plan.
Try linking to YCHANGE International and read some of the articles especially the ones about a business plan and starting a business.
Question: Should I start my birth control on the sunday start or day one start? I started my period today.September 20th, I am going on vacation on december 20th! So i will be on my period. :( Im so upset about this. I went to my doc to start my birth control.Should I start my pills today, day one start or Sunday? Will it make a difference? Please help! Thanks.
Answer: i'd start today. that way it's effective right away. when you do a sunday start, it will take at least 2 weeks to be totally effective. if you don't want your period on december 20th, skip your innactive pills. some doctors don't reccomend that though, so talk to your doc about it.
Question: Will I start loosing weight If I start walking to and from school? I am 17 years old, 6'3 and weigh 224 pounds. Starting January, when we get back from break, I am going to start walking to and from school which is in total 4 miles. I am starting to eat healthier and less and take weightlifting in school. I am going to try to start tomorrow and through winter break, if it doesn't snow, by walking to and from the local college close to me which is around 2 miles in total everyday. How long would it take for me to start seeing results because I really wanna get thinner?
Answer: You will lose for sure, results in 4-6 weeks, Remember the scale may not be significantly lower but you will become smaller in size, walking will build muscle, so look at your clothes getting bigger not the scale looking less.
Question: When will I start my period while taking birth control? You're supposed to start taking birth control the Sunday after your period. I started taking it one week later. I've been taking it faithfully every day and this is my first month. 2 days ago I started the "white" pills. I haven't started my period yet. My question is, after you start the white pill, when will your period start?
Also, is it normal for the pill to upset your stomach a little bit. Sometimes I feel sick to my stomach but it's different than the pregnant sickness.
Answer: My pills are completely backwards from the sounds of it. When you say "white" I will assume you mean the pills lacking hormones, sometimes considered placebos. It depends on your body and the pill. If you were irregular before it may take a few packs to regulate your cycle and figure out when you will start. You should (theoretically) start the pill during the placebos generally from the first to fourth day (again this will depend on the pill since some have more days of placebo than others). Also, while you are beginning the pill it may upset your stomach, if the directions say drink plenty of water with the pill, then do that it may help with the upset stomach, otherwise take it with crackers/toast. If that does not help the time of day may make a difference so discuss that with your doctor if it does not clear up.
Question: When I start my vehicle with the command start, the heater blower motor does not start anymore. Why? I just recently had a new blower motor put in, and a few weeks later this happened. Now I can still start the vehicle with the command start, but have to go put a key into it for the heater to start blowing. I still have a few days left on the "30 days parts and labour" from when I got the blower motor put in and am wondering if it is possibly a bad install on that? Please help -its very cold here :) Thanks!
Answer: Are you starting it automatically, with one of those remote start things? If so, the remote start may have something wrong. A blower motor should either work or not work, if it has power, and is turned to the on position, it should go. If it used to work differently, you should have the blower motor looked at, maybe there's a crossed wire or something
Question: How soon after starting the placebo pills should my period start? This is my second month on birth control. I'm sexually active so I'm really careful about taking the pulls at the same time of everyday. I took the first placebo pill of the month last night, and I still haven't started my period. So my question is, how soon after starting the placebo pills should my period start?
--Last month was abnormal, I was on a 3 week period.
Also: I've been feeling like I'm going to start soon, and my face is breaking out. All common factors for me when my period is about to start.
Answer: Its always been within 24 hours of taking the first reminder pill for me. It could take up to three packs of pills for it to become regular first day of the sugar pill though. I'm sure you've got nothing to worry about as long as you really have been taking the pills at the same time every day.
Question: When did you start showing with your second pregnancy? I didn't start showing until 18-20 weeks with my first pregnancy. Will i start to show earlier with this one? When did your second pregnancy start showing? Also when did your morning sickness start if you had it? I'm just over 6 weeks and have just been starting to feel slightly queasy when i'm hungry over the last few days. I can't remember when it started with my first!
Answer: I am sure you've heard this a million times, but every pregnancy and every woman is different.
With that said, typically consecutive pregnancies show a lot sooner! First time pregnancies take longer to show because the stomach/uterus has never been stretched out before. But once that is happened, it makes the stomach and uterus more flexible and boing - you're showing sooner! I am on my first pregnancy (technically) and I started showing a little at 3 months, but it really became noticeable at 4 and 5 months. I definitely needed to get into maternity clothes by that 4th month.
As far as morning sickness goes, that is different with every pregnancy. In my first pregnancy, I only had slight queasiness, but no morning sickness and definitely no vomiting.
Question: Truck took awhile to start before work not it will not start? This all started yeasterday morning. The truck took awhile to start up before work. Then it started normally the rest of the day (6 times the rest of the day). This morning it took even longer to start, then it wouldn't start at all on my lunch break. I can listen to the radio and all of the lights come on normally. The truck cranks like it is going to start but just keeps cranking. Any ideas?
Answer: Starter
Question: How long after starting Birth Control should a woman start her cycle? I have always had irregualr periods (even after having my daughter a year and a half ago). I've had 2 periods this year. So I went to the doctor and she started me on birth control exactly 3 weeks ago today. I have yet to start my period, and was just wondering how long it typically takes to start. I know every woman is different, I just don't know if I should start to worry if I don't start sooner than later. Thanks!!
Answer: It takes 2-3 months to get into a regular cycle. Don't be surprised if it's really light or late the first couple of months.
Question: I already started taking the placeo pill and started my period. Can I just start a new pack? I have four pills left, and I just started my period. And I have something planned tomorrow and my period can't interfere. Can I start a new pack and forget about the other 4 remaining placebo pills or not? And will it stop/slow down my current period if I did start a new pack?
Answer: It won't stop your period, sorry! You'll keep bleeding for another few days. Once it starts you can't make it stop.
For future reference, there's nothing wrong with skipping the placebos altogether and just starting a new pack as soon as you finish the hormone pills in the old one. That way you'll miss your period completely which can come in really handy if you have something going on that you don't want it to interfere with. You can do it for a few months in a row but doctors recommend having at least 4 periods per year.
Question: How does one start or find info on starting a community service project? I want to start a project to aid shelters with children't birthdays. I'd love for it to be something that could grow into a non profit but right now I need to start small and test the waters. I am having a difficult time finding info on where to start and how. For example, do I just start collecting birthday party items and then try to find shelters? How do I organize this so it can be most effective? Most important I need funders because I can't afford to pay out of pocket. Any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks a bunch! :)
Answer: I would suggest that you start by working with your local non-profit organizations for support. Many volunteer centers have databases of local non-profit organizations that can help you with your project. You might be able to start a project in conjunction with your volunteer center.
You can find your volunteer center through the following links:
http://www.handsonnetwork.org/our-network/
http://www.pointsoflight.org/centers/find_center.cfm
The Points of Light Foundation has a great resource site for you as well:

In conjunction with your volunteer center, you will be able to get additional people as well as some ideas for fundraisers.
Good luck!

Question: When starting baby foods, is it true that you should start them with meats? I have always heard veggies and fruits. My son is 6 months and we haven't started him on meats yet because this is what we were told, but this weekend my husband was reading a pediatric association published childcare book that says to start with meats? Is this right?? Am I wrong for starting the other way around?
Answer: Oh, man... I hate baby food 'rules.' They do not, on the whole, make a lot of sense, and most aren't supported by research.
I plan on letting my daughter have at whatever she wants to grab as soon as she's old enough, within reasonable limits...
Anyway. Some good advice from Dr Jack Newman (NB: a Canadian -- as people've pointed out, here in Canada, the 'baby food rules' are a bit different) --
"When the baby is starting to take solids at about six months of age, there is little difference what he starts with or the order foods are introduced. It is prudent to avoid highly spiced or highly allergenic foods at first (e.g. egg white, strawberries), but if the baby reaches for the potato on your plate, make sure it is not too hot, and let him have the potato. There is no need to go in any specific order, and there is no need for the baby to eat only one food for a certain period of time. Some exclusively breastfed babies dislike infant cereal when it is introduced at about six months of age. There is no need for concern and no need to persist if the baby doesn’t want the cereal. There is nothing magic or necessary about infant cereal. Offer your baby the foods that he is interested in. Allow the baby to enjoy food and do not worry exactly how much he actually takes at first. Much of it may end up in his hair and on the floor anyhow. There is no need either that foods be pureed if the baby is six months of age or older. Simple mashing with a fork is all that is necessary at first. You also do not have to be exceedingly careful about how much the baby takes. Why limit the baby to one teaspoon if he wants more? You do not need to waste your money on commercial baby foods.
Be relaxed, feed the baby at your mealtimes, and as he becomes a more accomplished eater of solid foods, offer a greater variety of foods at any one time.
The easiest way to get extra iron for your baby five or six months of age is by giving him meat. Infant cereal has iron, but it is poorly absorbed and may cause the baby to be constipated."

Question: Why do my legs start to itch when I start running or jogging on the treadmill? I recently started working out and i noticed that sometimes when I start jogging, My legs start to itch really bad. I was told it was my sudden adrenaline boost and the rushing of my blood. If this is the case, how do I stop it from happening. Like i said it happens sometimes. I usually happens if I power walk first and then start to run. If I just start off running, it doesn't usually happen.
Answer: This is fairly common for some to have an itching in their legs soon after they begin running or walking. I think it has more to do with blood circulating. It is not serious and it will not continue forever.
Question: What if you start birth control pills on day three of your period? I know if you start it on day one of your period it will be effective immediately. It also says that if you start the Sunday after your period that it will be effective the following Sunday (seven days). What if you started on day three of your period? I started my period on Sunday and started taking the pills on Wednesday so I was just curious.
Answer: If you start your pills within four days of the start of your period they are effective immediately.
If you start at any other time, it takes 7 days to become fully effective.
You'll see a lot of misinformation about this (having to wait a month or more, for example), but the above is true.
