Question: sunglasses? I got a pair of prescrive sunglasses ( Maui Jim ) .... I want to know if i want them none prescrive again if they could just take the lence that are prescrive out of the frame. thank you

Answer: Yes, any Optician store can take existing lens out of eyeglasses, and cut a replacement lens (prescription or not) to put back in.

Answer: I don't mind spending $200 on sunglasses if i know they're quality and will last. In the past i would buy sunglasses in a store for $25 bucks but was tired of them breaking or the lens poping off. Then i decided to buy a pair of persols for around $200. I got them 2 yrs ago, wear them often and they're still as good as new.

Question: What sunglasses are good for people with long eyelashes? I have really long eyelashes, but when I wear sunglasses, especially when I am wearing mascarra (which I can't do without), my eyelashes break off! Plus, it's generally uncomfortable for me when they keep batting against my glasses. But of course I want to wear sunglasses, so I need some suggestions that are practical and fashionable!

Answer: big prada glasses or something similar that sticks far out. i have the same problem except i wear glasses and i have naturally dark lashes that fade to invisible halfway to the tip of the lash so i curl my lashes so they don't stick so far out you might want to try it you can find a curler at your local wal-mart if you don't have one

Question: What type of sunglasses would look good on a diamond face? I've been trying to figure out my face shape for a long time, and I thought it was oblong but I've decided it's diamond. I look awful in sunglasses so maybe I'm picking the wrong ones. Which type of sunglasses look the best on a diamond face?

Answer: On a diamond shaped face you do not want to accentuate the wideness of the face at eye level. To have good looking glasses with such a face, it would be wise to choose for wire or wraparound sunglasses, in order to avoid any extra width on the upper half of your face. In addition, frames with a straight top line or cat eye frames (e.g. Ray Ban Wayfarers) will probably suit you good. If you also have other strong facial features like a strong chin, bold frame styles can be especially good (although they can usually also overwhelm more subtle features).

Question: What type of sunglasses have a cross and skulls? I saw some guy wearing them on a bus but have no clue what type of sunglasses they are. The sides were in shape of a cross, almost like a plus sign, that was silver and had four small skulls inside of the cross. They frames were medium size. Mens sunglasses.

Question: How do you tell if sunglasses are made of glass? I recently bought some sunglasses and they are supposed to be made of glass, but they feel like plastic, like most other sunglasses. So how do i tell if they are glass or plastic?

Answer: Slightly less destructive than a hammer is checking by temperature -- Glass holds its temperature more. Compare the feel of anything in a glass jar the fridge to something in plastic. Glass feels cooler than plastic. Or hotter if just out of the dish washer. If you touch a piece of plastic to your cheek it will usually feel room temperature, whereas if you do the same with a piece of room temperature glass it will usually feel somewhat cold. Also these days they don't drill holes in glass lenses to attach frames anymore, so if they have a hole to hold the lenses in place then they are plastic. (Unless they were made before the 1980's) Another way to tell the difference between glass & plastic is to tap it with your teeth...

Question: What is the right way to wear sunglasses? I bought a new pair of sunglasses recently and I never noticed that a lot of people wear their sunglasses over their eyebrows so that they don't show, mine are a little underneath. I don't know if that's still ok to wear them like that. Please advise, my sunglasses were a little pricey so I do not want to wear them the wrong way.
