Answer: Well to hold a curl(btw I have had the same problem) do not have a shower right before. You use a gel or hairspray of your choice(personally gel) and put it on your hair before you start to curl. Don't put to much or too little. This might make your hair super curly but you can use a thinner curling iron. Once you have finished (or after each curl) spray your hair with a little hairspray and it should stay!
