Sweat Sweating Excessive Sweat Hyperhidrosis
Question: Excessive Sweating...? (Hyperhidrosis)? I have hyperhidrosis (Excessive Sweating), and most people only get it in there hands, feet, and armpits. I have it in all of those areas plus my thighs! I want to get the surgery, but one of the side effects is that I would sweat more from my thighs, stomach, and back.(So it really wouldn't help me too much). Any other solutions, because I really can't handle this anymore. I can't even walk around school without feeling like s*** because people insult me. I'll do anything!
I've tried certain dry and I got irritated. I also wear t-shirts underneath whatever I can. I use Mitchum deoderant/anti-persperiant now (the mens one, and Im a girl). It works okay when I have a t-shirt on.
I got botox. Don't ask me how I forgot about that. lol It didn't really work... I may have stopped sweating 1% than I normally do.
Answer: awhh babe! you seriously sound like me 3 weeks ago!

Question: How to naturally cure hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)? I sweat like crazy every day. Whether it's hot or cold I sweat. It's freaken gross. Does anybody know some natural remedies to minimize the sweat???
Answer: Hey
There are different ways that can help you to stop your excessive sweating.
Here are some useful methods to avoid hyperhidrosis:
Avoid Sugar
having high sugar level in the blood produces hyper activity and anxiety that can easily produce excessive stress, and as a result excessive sweating.
Don't drink Alcohol
Drinking Alcohol causes the dilatation of blood vessels that result in an increase in body temperature and therefore excessive sweat.
Don't Eat Spicy Foods:
Spicy foods are similar to alcohol, it makes the heart pumps more blood and therefore the body, to regulate itself produces sweat.
Choose The Right Cloths:
Don't over dress, and in summer or any other hot weather avoid synthetic fibers. Choose breathing fabrics like cotton. This will ventilate your body and void any accumulation of sweat.
Stop That Caffeine:
Caffeine is a stimulant that increases the anxiety. Caffeine could be found in coffee and other soda drinks.
Don't Smoke:
Smoking is also a vessel dilator just like alcohol.
Learn Yoga or Meditation:
One of the most common causes for excessive sweating is stress. To avoid or reduce stress you should learn to control it. The best way to control is by learning meditation or yoga techniques. Mastering those can make a huge impact on your life.
In addition to these tips there are also many products and solutions for excessive sweating like botox, Acupuncture and Hypnosis.
In my opinion and from my experience the problem with many of these solutions is the expensive price and the fact that many of them simply won't work for most of the people.
There are only few recommended products that actually work and can help you to stop the hyperhidrosis in a matter of weeks.

Question: I have hyperhidrosis(excessive sweating). Is it possible for it to go away on its own? I am otherwise healthy and not nervous all the time, but i still sweat even for example when i am watching tv or reading a book. So far the treatment options i have seen are unsatisfying and mostly really expensive. Is it possible for it to stop on its own?
Answer: Unfortunately I don't think it usually goes away on its own. Various types of treatment are available, in particular for focal or localized hyperhidrosis. The main forms of treatment include:
topical medications (applied to skin): Topical medications contain aluminum salts in higher concentrations than those found in regular antiperspirants. They are used to treat mild forms of hyperhidrosis. Some irritation may occur with this type of treatment including burning or stinging.
oral medications: Certain medications that reduce sweating by affecting the nerves may be recommended. Side effects associated with these medications include dry mouth, constipation, increased heart rate, urinary difficulties, and blurry vision.
botulinum toxin A: This treatment is used for focal hyperhidrosis in the armpit area. Treatment involves injecting the affected area with a chemical that blocks the signal from the nerve to the sweat gland. Injections are made into the skin (intradermal). Side effects include pain at the injection site, itching, and headache.
surgical procedures: Surgical destruction or disruption of nerve pathways that cause sweat glands to produce sweat may be used for people who do not respond well to other treatments. Risks of the surgery include infection, bleeding, and nerve damage.
iontophoresis: In this form of treatment, the affected area is submerged in water and an electric current is passed through the water. It is unclear exactly how this treatment works; however, the electrical charge may affect the production of sweat from glands. This method is time-consuming and requires several weeks of treatment to reach normal levels of sweating. Side effects include dry, peeling skin.

Question: international cure for excessive sweating hyperhidrosis? how to get paper work to come to america for the cure of hyperhidrosis excessive sweating
Answer: Not sure. But suffer from the same thing. How are they going to treat yours?
Question: Help! Excessive sweating/hyperhidrosis? Ok, so I'm thirteen. When I was twelve or so I started to sweat excessively in my underarms and palms. It's really embarrassing and is such a pain. I tried prescription-strength deodorant, but that didn't help. I shower daily and drink water, which I heard can help, but I am not seeing a difference. Recently I discovered that my condition could be called "hyperhidrosis", and I looked it up and it said possible treatments include Botox and surgery. Again, I'm thirteen and Botox probably isn't the best thing for me. ): Please help!
Answer: I don't know what you mean exactly by "prescription-strength deodorant", but theres an over the counter one that worked for me. I had the EXACT same problem as you when I was that age, always wearing dark colours and I would even come home at lunch just to throw my shirts in the dryer.
The one my dermatologist recommended was called Drysol. You can get it at any pharmacy without a prescription, but its not on the shelves, you'll have to ask the pharmacist. It will burn like hell when you put it on the first time, but its worth it, trust me. Now I only have to use it once or twice a week (I use regular deodorant everyday) and I almost never sweat. It's been about...3.5 years. Give it a try, I know how crappy it feels to be sweating all the damn time.
EDIT: It's expensive, about 20 bucks, BUT since you won't be using it EVERYDAY after a while, it will honestly last 6+ months.
Question: hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), please reply!!!!!? I have a problem with sweating to much. So I went to the store today with my dad for medicine, when i thought about getting certain dri. I asked my dad for it and i told him when i sweat i sweat a lot, but he did not beleive me! So he would not bye it. Instead I got a deodarant called Mitchum because I have heard some people on here say that it worked. If you can please reply, or if you can can you talk about your experiences with Mitchum deodarant for women! Thanks everyone!
Answer: Hello I'm from Argentine, and i have stoped sweating under my arms because of a desodorant named alumpak.
Before this, i tryed 3 other special desodorats recommended by others specialists with no results.
A doctor from a hospital recommended me this, and i got good results under my arms, but i steel couldn't find a way to solve the problem with my hands and feets.
So i recommend to you to go to a good doctor and maybe he could find a solution to you.
If not, search about botox.
Good luck!
Question: Which antiperspirant is best for Excessive Sweating ? ( hyperhidrosis )? I am currently using this antiperspirant for my excessive-sweating:
http://www.megadry.com
Answer: I've tried a lot of stuff... I don't recommend surgery, tons of side effects (that's why my dermatologiest said at least). I've tried a few brands that promise a lot, like that Maxim stuff, that stuff sucks. I'll try that MegaDry antipespirant for my heavy sweating however.
Thanx for the link.
Question: Excessive Sweating! Hyperhidrosis? Help? Okay it's like this just started happening this year whenever i'm at school im sweating like crazy under my armpits and it soo embarassing that i have to bring a jacket all the time. My friend says I mite have hyperhidrosis but what can I do about it I tried changing my deodarant to suave 24 hour protection but it doesn't work @ all and i think its weird how I only start sweating when in public can anyone help me??
Answer: Girl, I have the same prob! Even if I'm cold, my sweating leaves stains! I have tried some of the clinical strength stuff like you did, but it never worked for me either. But I finally found a anti-perperant that works well. Its called Certain Dri. I found it at the drugstore for about 8 bucks. You apply it at night only, and then in the morning, I apply one of the Secret deodorants (the yummy smelling ones) so that even if I sweat a little, it won't stink. Also, you should invest in some cardigans! Seriously! They won't make you super sweaty and hot, but if you need to cover stains that are still drying, they're perfect...
Good Luck
Question: Do I have Hyperhidrosis? (Excessive sweating)? When I am nervous, or am thinking, I get really worked up I guess and I start to normally sweat under my armpits, and in my hands, and this happens a lot when I am just chilling out talking to people in my life.
Sweating under my armpits has been such a big issue, and I don't want people to see my sweat marks, it would embarrass me. And I am always sweating under my armpits.
Is this Hyperhidrosis? What can I do?
I always use deodorant too, I've tried a bunch of different ones.
Answer: Don't worry, you not alone. I have something like this too and i was a bit embarrsed to tell my mom and my doctor. But my doctor prescribed DRYSOL for me. Although i still continue to sweat under my arms, i see a big diffrence because its not as much as it use to be. Ask your doctor about it and im sure he could give it to you.
i wish you goood luck! :)

Question: Does anyone have any "cures" or helpful ideas for excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis)? For underarms. The only solutions I've been given by my dermatologist are botox ($2,000 a shot, it requires 15-20 shots. Two underarms. Nice.) and a liquid applied at night called Drysol. It can be very irritating and barely helps. Does anyone have any other ideas? I've had this problems for 3 years and I don't think I can stand it any longer :[ !!
Answer: There are oral medications for this condition. One is called Ditropan. You can also have surgery for it. These are facts. Your derm is a quack. I recommend seeing your regular doc and asking for a referral to someone who can correctly assess and treat your condition.
As far as temporary solutions, talc and baby powder have been found to be somewhat effective. Good luck-I;m sure this has to be so debilitating to you.
Question: Hyperhidrosis(Excessive Sweating)? Does anyone have any ideas on how to cure hyperhidrosis or help the amount of sweat decrease? Thanks a billion for all your answers.
Answer: Choose your foods carefully. There are certain foods that trigger sweating. Avoid eating spicy food. Spicy foods can increase perspiration. Tomato is great for controlling sweat. There are many creative ways that you can prepare tomatoes, in your dishes. Or try searching for homeopathic remedies products that will help you to overcome excessive sweating naturally.
Question: Best pills to take for treatment of full body Hyperhidrosis? Or excessive sweating? I know some pills may have small side effects, but what would be the best and cheapest to cure sweating. I have plenty of water, and will be fine. Unless these will cause huge huge issues, then it's okay. This issue is more of a worry than having a heart attack at age 60 :)
Thanks for anyone who helps. Also, I don't want to be spending hundreds of dollars on a months supply of pills.
Answer: Generally, OTC antiperspirants are used for profuse sweating. The most effective are those that contain aluminium chlorohydrate. But, such preparations may themselves cause irritation. Inflammation and infection can result from the combined effect of shaving and chemicals.
There are also conventional oral medications for controlling sweating, but again unpleasant side effects may occur and they should be used only for extreme cases. These work by drying bodily secretions, and tend to come with unwanted side-effects such as dry mouth, blurry vision, dizziness and cardiovascular concerns. As a last resort, there are surgical procedures to control perspiration, but they are usually reserved for cases resistant to all other form of treatment.
Natural Remedies
Many people are now turning to natural remedies as a first step towards treating excessive sweating caused by overactive sweat glands. There are a number of natural ingredients that can help reduce sweating and treat some of the underlying causes. Nat mur. helps to reduce excessive sweating and clamminess.
Lupulus as well as Castoreum and Argentum Nitricum help to address sweating, especially when related to nervousness, panic, anxiety, or obsessive thoughts. Lastly the ingredient Syphilinum helps to control fluid levels in the body, while also helping to control body odor which commonly accompanies excessive sweating.
Losing weight - If you have a weight problem you will be putting stress on your body. When you do this you will increase your sweating problem. It is wise to take steps to convert to a healthy diet, and not get too heavy. The heavier you are the more strain will be on your entire system.
Apply antiperspirants nightly - At bedtime, apply antiperspirants to sweaty palms or soles of the feet. Try perfume-free antiperspirants.
