Testosterone Support
Question: do testosterone support supliments work ? well do they ?
and if they do what brand should i get
Answer: to a certain degree yes but, depending on what you want to use them for is the bigger question.
I'm guessing you want to get a little bigger and a little more ripped? if that is the case, you need to eat really good and get a firm work out plan. Be dedicated and you can put up to 14lbs of muscle in about a month if truly dedicated.
Question: Would you support removing testosterone from convicted sex offenders? In the Czech Republic, they are doing just that: http://news.yahoo.com/s/time/20090211/wl_time/08599187846200
Answer: The problem is in their brains, you'd need to remove that.
Question: Anyone know of a doctor that does testosterone injections for a transitioning man in Arizona? my girlfriend in transitioning into the male form but we're having trouble finding a doctor that would support this or even administer testosterone injections for her. does anyone know of a good reliable doctor in Arizona? preferably Phoenix? thank you soo much for any help i can get :) !!!
I GIVE BEST ANSWER!!!!
Answer: What she needs to do is go see a therapist. They will diagnose her with something relating too Gender Indenity disorder. That way her insurance will pay for her therapy which she WILL need for a year (no surgery or hormones without therapy), and it will also pay for most if not all of the cost of her injections. Possibly some part of her surgeries.
I would talk to the therapsit about any good reliable doctor.

Question: Is testosterone levels linked to Penis Size? Hey im 15 and just wondering if my 6 days a week 2 hour training in track and taking (ZMA) a anabolic support mineral supplement, + naturally ive had oilier skin, more muscle development, deeper voice, and overall maturity at a much younger age. ALSO if i did hit puberty younger, will it end before others? And is all of this indicative of high Testosterone which would meen more penis growth?
Answer: testosterone levels are not indicative of penis size. More sex drive and agression, but not size
Question: What should I expect now that my FTM boyfriend is on Testosterone? I'm nervous. I've been told that with him being on T, his views of me would change.
In other words, he'd leave me for a fresh start.
I love and respect him and all of his decisions and I support him 100%, and he knows this. I know I need to discuss this with him personally but a little support from anyone who has gone through a similar situation would help.
Answer: I'm skeptical that his views of you would automatically change from being on testosterone... I don't think that he will leave you because he's on hormones. If you're worried about that, I recommend that you talk to him about it.
There will of course be physical changes, but there may be emotional and behavioral ones too. His voice will drop gradually, and he'll start getting more body and facial hair. He may get more acne, and he may find that he sweats more or has some difficulty sleeping. He might feel a little more aggressive and/or be more horny. He may find that his dysphoria lessens and he feels more comfortable with his body.
Question: What are some things I can do to support a healthy prostate? I excersise daily and take 1500mg of saw palmetto berries a day,
At 23 years old I've been having problems for a little over a year, is this normal? I know I need to see a doctor but I dont want to be put on drugs or anything that will screw with my testosterone and I dont exactly have the financial means either.
Answer: Try Prost-RX. It's a combination of several herbs, NOT just saw palmetto.
Question: Since a fetus is not human to many of you, do you support aborting black fetuses to help reduce crime? After all, it's not human, right? And since blacks have the highest levels of testosterone they are much more violent, and hence commit more crimes (it also explains why they excel in sports). So this is a way we can put a stop to problem before it happens. What do you think?
Answer: Grow up, Junior.
Question: How to increase testosterone, and decrease estrogen in my body? Im a male.? I think I have abundant supply of estrogen in my body... and oh, Im a guy. help please?

"Information:
Testosterone:
Pubertal
Pubertal effects begin to occur when androgen has been higher than normal adult female levels for months or years. In males, these are usual late pubertal effects, and occur in women after prolonged periods of heightened levels of free testosterone in the blood.
Enlargement of sebaceous glands. This might cause acne.
Phallic enlargement or clitoromegaly
Increased libido and frequency of erection or clitoral engorgement
Pubic hair extends to thighs and up toward umbilicus
Facial hair (sideburns, beard, moustache)
Loss of scalp hair (Androgenetic alopecia)
Chest hair, periareolar hair, perianal hair
Leg hair
Axillary hair
Subcutaneous fat in face decreases
Increased muscle strength and mass[11]
Deepening of voice
Increase in height
Growth of the Adam's apple
Growth of spermatogenic tissue in testicles, male fertility
Growth of jaw, brow, chin, nose, and remodeling of facial bone contours
Shoulders become broader and rib cage expands
Completion of bone maturation and termination of growth. This occurs indirectly via estradiol metabolites and hence more gradually in men than women.
Estrogen :
promote formation of female secondary sex characteristics
decelerate height growth[11]
accelerate metabolism (burn fat)
reduce muscle mass
stimulate endometrial growth
increase uterine growth
increase vaginal lubrication
thicken the vaginal wall
maintenance of vessel and skin
reduce bone resorption, increase bone formation
morphic change (endomorphic -> mesomorphic -> ectomorphic)
the only one thing that supports I have testosterone, is the deepening of my voice.
and thats all, but the things that support I have high levels of estrogen, cannot be counted.
Im a growing up teenager, so I need to increase my testosterone for me to develop. please.
Answer: You are at the age you could have a couple of major growth spurts so not to worry. It could happen any time soon.
There is a definite positive correlation between testosterone and growth hormone [research].
Some forms of exercise can trigger testosterone spurts [research]. Make sure you get some daily exercise for general health and well-being. LIGHT-weight dumbbells for your biceps might help but do not overdo it, and don't go beyond that in terms of weights at your tender age.
Get lots of sleep ...particularly try to get to bed before 11pm if you can do so. Early full sleep [7-9 hours optimum] is linked with raised growth hormone levels [research].
Drink chamomile tea and add a little raw unpasteurised honey to this. Both of these contain an aromatase inhibitor [apigenin]. Aromatase is an enzyme we can all produce that converts some testosterone to oestrogen. Take also fish oil [may contain a potent aromatase inhibitor] and eat pumpkin seeds [rich in zinc and may also contain an aromatase inhibitor in its oil fraction].
From the weight you say you are, it is doubtful you produce too much oestrogen because 108lb [approx. 7.5 stones] makes you light in weight for your height, so am assuming you have very little in the way of fat deposits.....and fat is a source of oestrogen for men and women via aromatization in fat cells.
Make sure you get enough protein to sustain growth. Assuming you are non-vegetarian....red meats are both a testorone booster and good source of quality protein to sustain good growth during active growth phases. And if you are not allergic to milk drink lots of milk for invaluable minerals to support growth. Eat green leafy vegetables and seeds and nuts for more minerals ...including magnesium. If one was allergic to milk a combined calcium/magnesium tablet [2:1 as most combined tablets are...the optimum ratio] from a health store could be taken alongside the main meal.
Acne/spots can be a sure sign one is producing lots of testosterone.
If you are concerned about your development at all you should really talk to your doctor. Hopefully, they could put your mind at ease and run some blood tests if necessary.
Try not to stress.
Be optimistic if you are otherwise healthy and eat well.
Best wishes.

well f ck you roger.
Answer: I would suggest that if you are suspicious about your hormone levels, you talk with your doctor. It is not uncommon for guys to have low testosterone, and both your testosterone and estrogen levels can be checked with a quick blood draw. Additionally, if you are found to have low testosterone, it can be supplemented to ensure proper sexual development.
Concerning your height, it is more dependent on growth hormone secreted from the pituitary gland than your sex hormones. This too is something your doctor can check.
Question: Boyfriend has low testosterone? My boyfriend of several months has told me he has a problem with low testosterone and that it led to the breakup of his previous marriage. We are not sexually active yet. I really care about this guy and want to know how to best support him with this. Seems if he is telling me this then it is something he feels I need to know about, so what are some suggestions on how to be sensitive to this situation?
Yes it's been medically confirmed
As a woman, it is not easy for me to relate to what this might do to a guy's ego, etc. so I am basically looking for how I should be emotionally supportive about this.
Answer: You didn't mention that he has confirmed it medically. So does he just think so? Or does he know so? Either way it shouldn't interfere with TRUE love. But personal preference is always there. Seems like you're okay with it.
Communication is vital, So it all depends in his feedback as you both talk. Only you two will know as you listen to each other and share your thoughts and feelings.
Question: How do your children cope with their abnormalities? My son was born with only one fully developed testicle, his body was only able to support blood flow to one testicle thus making the other one shrivel up and having to be surgically removed. His urologist said his one testicle is very large for his age, he also said he will have no problems with reproduction or testosterone. Of course I love him and am concerned about how he will view this and wanted to know other peoples stories or advice. I am sure I will get some smart-a$$ answers, hopefully they will be funny instead of demeaning. Thank you.
Answer: well, it migth be a big deal for him in highschool after sports when they are all taking showers.. or not.. he might be all eager to show off his one ball..lol.. Its hard to know.
When I was a kid ( 4) I fell down head first on a chair and split my head open and got like 6 stitches on it. My mom was horrified and was sure I would be ashamed of it when I grew up. I never really even thought of it since its pretty much always been there. It faded to a light scar over years and yeah you can see it although I doubt if its something that people first see when they see me and if it is then so be it. It doesnt bother me and never has and I guess really because its always been there. Maybe thats what'll help your son too. hes never known anything different, its not like he has any memory of having two of them..
Question: Do Gays Lose testosterone? I beileve Gays become Gay from birth, but do we have any intense Science people in here that can tell me if you can literally LOSE testosterone by watching something "Gay"?
Most people who bash gays can't support their claims..so this is their last defence that they "lose it"
Answer: uh no don't think so. i don't think you can lose testosterone by watching something gay. I think lower levels of testosterone in the womb might be a contributing actor and maybe one of the major ones but with respect as to lose testosterone with respect to doing what you said, na don't think so.

Question: Why do liberals always gay bash Gay Republicans? For example, a recent response to a question about the apparent lack of testosterone in liberal men evoked a rant that included an attack on gay "conservatives":
George Rekers (anti-gay Family Research Council founder who was caught with his gay lover last month)
Larry Craig, etc.
Isn't it interesting how gays support the very party that has no reservation trashing Gay Republicans. Sort of like a "Stockholm Syndrome" for GLBT liberals.
Answer: Well Leftists just can't seem to understand how a homosexual person was able to see through all their deceit. Leftist politicians just use them for votes and that is it, so when they find a homosexual Republican, they can't understand it and then they politically bash the living hell out of them. For instance, why is it that same sex marriage is still illegal if we have both a Democratic run legislative and executive branch? It is because the Democratic politicians do not really care. Republicans do not hate gay people and we are not homophobic. We just do not believe in same sex MARRIAGE. Homosexual Republicans are obviously ok with a civil union and they support the Republican party because they believe in our ideologies.
This also holds true for every black Republican and Republican woman.
Question: women attracted to testosterone? Hey I have this theory and it seems to have some support e.g. Cunningham (1995) that women aren't attracted to guys who are considered good looking neccessarily but they are physically attracted to guys who have masculine features which are caused by high levels of testosterone. Guys can be ugly and still be physically attractive. For example Mike Tyson is more physically attractive than a more handsome guy with less testosterone e.g. Chris Rock. So its testosterone not facial beauty that makes a man attractive. Im interested in psychology that's the reason for some of my strange posts. Does this seem to make sense to most people?
Answer: Women are attracted to the kind of man you are genetically, and the offspring you produce. High testosterone is associated with strength, stamina, etc...all of which was the classification of a 'good mate' way back when we were hunters and gatherers. I think of now as a combination of our past (the testosterone attractiveness) combined with behavior (how he treats kids, personality traits, etc.). I think the combination of the two is a more evolved approach for a more evolved species aka humans today. Interaction & experience evolves each person to be stimulated and turned off by different things. You're better off combining a few theories to gain any ground.
