Question: tips?????????????????????????????????? ok so im a very very nervous and anxious flyer, and next week im flying to san fran from london on my own im 18 and its my first flight alone....................please comment if u have tips
please im freakin out
Answer: OH my dearest newest friend Darren. Don't worry, you will be fine. The longest flight I have ever taken is LAX to BKK(bangkok) it was 17 hours!! Make sure you have all the docs needed to travel, also bring a backpack on board with you with plenty of things to entertain you and keep you comfortable ( bring a blanket for recreation- you know what I mean.. wink) Make sure you bring some cash in case the airline you are traveling on sells their meals or drinks. Bring a neck pillow and ear plugs so you can nap (you will especially glad about these if you get seated next to a screaming child!) Also bring a book and your ipod. Keep in mind that for transatlantic flights you usually get entertainment such as movies playing in the cabin, and meals! Hopefully you get some sexy flight attendants that you can look at!! Good luck!
Question: TiPs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!? I need beauty and fashion tips or even homeade recipes it can be make up, hair or skin for a teen girl. I don't care about what kind of fashion. Please if there's any website include it. Thanks.

Also it doesnt matter if you straightnent your hair or leave it wavy just were a really cute head band or a pretty hair ribbon I looks very nice.make sure that you were a really cute blush that matches your skin tone like peach or a light pink put it on your cheek bones to highlight you face or if you cant see your cheek bones first highlight your cheek bones then under your cheek bone use a little shade darker blush to contour.

Question: TiPS!!!!!!!? does anyone have any tips on song writing? i started writing a song but i only have 1 verse and a chorus. i know most songs start out as poems but mine didnt. any advice becuase i am haveing trouble continuing it. Thanks!
Answer: when writing a song, write about what you really feel b/c if you write about something you don't feel anything about, the effect just isn't there
if you feel strongly about something you're writing and the audience hears it through your voice, they too will feel what you are feeling, and that is what makes a good song
there doesn't have to be a rhyme or pattern, as long as your message gets through (though rhyming helps make a song catchy)
also when writing, just write whatever comes to mind and keep the pen or pencil moving...you can edit later
you want to make sure that the flow keeps going
also, every time somethings comes to mind, write it down (it could be that part one of your songs is missing)
also, like my creative writing teacher always said : "there is no wrong, just write."
Question: How do waitresses get tips deducted from their paycheck? I read that waitresses have to keep an accurate log of how tips they earn and give that info to the restaurant so that it can be deducted from their check. But if the waitresses keep the tips (cash) and are earning minimum wage, how do the tips get deducted? Isn't it likely that the amount received in tips would exceed the amount of the check (minimum wages)?
Or is the waitress supposed to give the tips to management so that they give her a check which includes all tips and minimum wages?
How does this work exactly in California?
Thanks
Answer: Don't know about California but management deducting them here is illegal (UK) and would be theft. Gratuities are for the people intended. There are different systems though. Some places pool the money and share it out. It may be that the management manage them and the staff get it added to their wages (tips here are taxable). That saves the staff from having to work out the tax.
You'll have to hope a lawyer or someone answers for more accurate details.
Question: Tips on cooking already pre-cooked frozen buffalo wings? You know, the ones that come in a box by TGI Fridays. Every time I cook them they don't taste very well. I follow the directions and such but can never seem to get them just right.
Anyone have any tips on different ways to cook them or any tips on seasonings or anything? Any tips in general?
Thanks.
Answer: Oh yes, I do know the ones that you are talking about and have tasted that "blandness" no matter which flavor I pick! I did this test once and it worked for me. I set the oven temperature lower than what the box had suggested. I usually add about 15 minutes to the time and lowered my oven temp by 20 degrees. Remember, these are fully cooked anyways but the freezing process takes away alot of the flavor and you just need to revitalize it. With a lower oven temperature, you can toss these wings with some melted butter, just to get the juices flowing again, then I drizzle some EVOO, dust them with some seasonings, whatever you prefer and toss them in a bowl to fully cover the wings. Then, I put them onto a pan and cover them with tinfoil for the first 1/2 of the cooking time. Then, I take the foil off for the second half of the cooking time so they crispen up a bit. Although I think fresh is best, I hope this helps you to enjoy them!!!!! Good luck!
Question: Tailgating tips- What are some tailgating tips or unique ideas for tailgating? I would love to hear tips that make a tailgating experience easier, more enjoyable, or more interesting. Please no references to websites, I have looked up this subject on the web myself. I am asking for your personal tips and ideas.
Answer: Three simple rules for a good tailgate party.
1. Plenty of BOOZE.
2. Plenty of FOOD.
3. Plenty of FRIENDS.
You can't go wrong with that combination.
Question: What tips do you have for a new english bulldog puppy? I just got a new puppy that's almost two months old and she is an english bulldog. She always wants to go to sleep and when i want to sleep she's awake all night. Tips? Also, does anybody have any kind of tips? Answer: My tip:
Get tips about puppies BEFORE you get a puppy.
Question: The tips of wings are airplanes that are vertical? I see on commercials for air carriers that sometimes the tips of the plane's wing are vertical vs horizontal. What does this mean?
Hopefully I'm explaining this right, but some planes the tips are not vertical and some planes the tips of the wings are pointing up.
Answer: The vertical part of the wing on the end of it are called winglets.
They are used to reduce induced drag. You see them a lot on some of the newer 737's. Southwest has found such a drastic fuel reduction with them that they are going to put them on all of their aircraft.
Hope this helps answer your question.
Question: How many tips do Baristas actually make? I am beginning a job as a barista soon and was told we will get tips. (I, honestly, think this is kind of weird because baristas are paid at least minimum wage and do not rely on tips.) I was just curious if anyone else works in a coffee shop and makes tips. How much on average?
Answer: When I worked at Starbucks, we got tips weekly. All of the tips from the tip jar were collected every night, and at the end of the week, the tips were divided up based on how many hours each person worked. At my home store, tips were generally about $1.25 or so an hour. I usually got about $20-$30 dollars a week in tips depending on how many hours I worked that week. When I worked at a few stores in Vegas, tips worked out to be about $4.00 an hour. It all depends on where you are.
Question: Is splitting tips between bartenders legal? I work at a baseball park and there are potentially five different bars you could work at. The management now wants to make the bartenders split tips. We have not done this for the past five years and now half way through the season they want to do it. They are only planning on splitting tips between four of the five bars and the other bar does not have to split. Is that legal to split tips but not make some bartenders split?
Answer: There is nothing in law to state who should keep tips, if they wanted to the owners could say you had to hand them over to them.
In fact a lot of places do this with credit card tips, the business gets them, not the workers.
IMHO splitting is the fairest way of doing it, that way the blonde with long legs & big boobs who does very little other than flirt with the customers doesn't get more than the hard worker who has to cover their work while they are doing this.
Question: Does anyone have any tips on how I can start my Cross Stitch Design business fom home? I'm thinking of starting my own home business soon using my own cross stitch designs, which I can produce quicker than I can cross stitch them. Does anybody have any tips I could use to start it? Or do any of you do this kind of work from home or know someone who has that might be able to give me some good tips?? And what about having/using a website to sell my work on? Any tips on starting it too since I don't have a website yet but I would like to use one for this. And what about copyrighting my designs for both the website and the booklets that I would be selling my designs in?? Can anybody provide info on that or where I can learn more on it? I'm half deaf so phone use will be a major problem (which is where the website helps) and I can not work full time due to a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) I suffered when I was a child, which caused my deafness and hearing loss. Any tips and info would be helpful and muchly appreciated on these. Thanks.
No spam please just honest answers.
I'm American.
Answer: It may be less time consuming and more cost effective for you to sell items (or even set up a store) on Ebay than it is to design your own website. Most of your correspondence will be over the internet, which is a plus. BUT, you may want to consider getting a videophone for those times when you do want people to be able to call you. Go to www.sorenson.com. The videophone and the service are FREE. : )
Question: Tips for coaching a young girls soccer or volleyball team? I might be coaching a young girls volleyball team soon, or a young girls soccer team next spring, but I need some tips! I've played both sports so I do have some knowledge of WHAT to coach, but I don't know HOW to coach. Any websites w/tips, drills, etc would be great too. Thanks!
Answer: Well depending on what age they are the best thing to teach them would be the basics. I don't know volleyball but for soccer this would include dribbling, trapping, passing, shooting etc. Teach them proper technique and have them repeat it over and over. Also make sure to have them use their "weaker" foot when doing drills so that they do not become one-footed players. Positioning and tactics should also be worked on, but at a younger level the basic skills are more important. I have seen books on drills that you can use to teach certain skills. Books such as Dummy's Guide etc. Also through Eurosport you can order educational videos and such. Link below.

Question: Any tips on getting a brazilian wax at home? I am planning on buying home removal wax for body, but I need tips on alleviating the pain afterwards for a brazilian wax. Are there any things I can do or take to make it hurt less. Also are there any hair removal waxes that you recommend? Overall, do any of you have any tips for a first time brazilian wax?
Answer: dont do a DIY brazilian wax. ull regret it, i promise u that. go to the nail salon or an actual waxing place and have a professional do it!
but if ur rly going to do it yourself, take an advil an hour before (or 2) to reduce pain and inflammation after wards. i guess u should use sally hansen because most people use that brand for home waxing. make sure the follow the directions EXACTLY. u can prep the hair a little first by putting some warm water there or do it after taking a warm shower. this will open up the pores so the hair comes out easier with less pulling. after waxing, put some aloe vera or vitamin E gel on the area to soothe it. they do sell special medicated products to use after hair removal (also by sally hansen) that reduce the chance of ingrown hairs, irritation, redness, and pain.
