Question: what are the vegetables used to make seven green vegetable juice? some of the ingredients are: green apple, green ampalaya, celery, pepper and cucumber. i need to know the other 2 to make seven green vegetable juice.

Question: What vegetable juice do you recommend? I'm trying to maintain a balanced diet.
I have been using t his program that tells you what you need more of and I need more vegetable.
It's not a whole lot, so I wanna make up the diff. with vegetable juice.
I bought a V8 vegetable juice but I threw up when I tried to drink it.
I just need to know a tasty vegetable juice that won't make me throw up.

Answer: I agree with using a juicer and raw vegetables, but if, for whatever reason, you can't do that, try V8's V-Fusions(sp?) As it's said in the commercial, it has a full serving of fruit and vegetables, but it tastes like fruit juice. It's available in four different flavors. They have them at Walmart.
Question: How to store freshly made vegetable juice for the next day ? I usually make fresh vegetable and fruit juice at home everyday. I don't really have the time anymore so i was wondering if it was stored in an airtight container straight after i make it and put in the fridge , how long would it last for without losing its nutrients and goodness?

Answer: Making ice cubes would be my best guess!
I say this because most juices of that type need to be consumed asap! I have not found a way to store these without it losing its enormous benefits.

Answer: Boiling the vegetable juice might actually cause the minerals and vitamins to be leeched out. Raw is the best way, just make sure you wash them well.
As for types of juice, tomato and carrot are best, but you can make veggie juice out of nearly every kind. Cabbage, carrot, tomato, cucumber, celery, pepper, etc. Combining them can make for some tasty surprises, so experiment away!
Question: Does daily vegetable juice count as part of ones vegetable consumption? I don't eat enough vegetables but I do drink a glass of vegetable juice every day. Does the juice make up somewhat for the lack of vegetables?
Answer: 8 ounces of 100% pure vegetable juice can count for one of your 3 recommended daily servings of vegetables. That is not to say that three 8 ounce glasses will count for all of the recommended daily servings of vegetables. Juice does not bring fiber and many of brands of vegetable juice are extremely high in sodium. Still best to eat your veggies. By the way, the serving size for the recommended vegetable intake is only 1/2 cup. That's not very much. The same goes for fruit, but it is only two 1/2 cup servings of fruit, or 1 cup total ... and as with the vegetable juice, you can substitute one serving of fruit with 8 ounces of 100% pure fruit juice.
Question: When is the best time of the day to drink Vegetable and Fruit Juice ? Does it make more sense to have Vegetable juice in morning and Fruit Juice in afternoon or vice versa?
Answer: Drinking the fruit juice in the morning would make more sense because if your cranky and just waking up i would want something sweet. Veggie juice in the afternoon would keep you going during the day
Question: Is it any different using a juicer to drink vegetable juice or eating them raw? I am looking to get nutrients not fiber so would if matter if I used a juicer to drink vegetable juice rather than eating them?
Answer: The skin of fruits and vegetables have fiber and vitamins and nutrients, so if you juice them you will lose some of that fiber, and vitamins and nutrients.
Question: Vegetable Juice-the one that I make taste terrible. How do you make one ? I add potato, carrot, apple, spinach, cucumber & tomato. The taste is terrible. I could not swallow the second glass almost vomit out. DO you have any palatable vegetable juice recipe of the above ingredients?

Answer: What you should do is add more fruits. The taste of the fruit juice will cover up the taste of the vegetables. You should think about adding something like watermelon because it contains more than a half cup of water and is filled with vitamins a, c, and b6. Also, add some berries because they have a lot of antioxidants in them and make everything taste yummy!

Answer: Yes! I would recommend V8, because you can get different types of it, a lot to choose from! Examples; carrot juice, apple and banana, ect.

Question: Would refrigerating fresh vegetable juice reduce the nutrient content? I drink a cup of vegetable juice with every meal. I'm getting tired of juicing for fresh vegetable juice because I eat 6 times a day. I hear that vegetable/fruit juice are best fresh because it starts to lose nutrients and other beneficial things (e.g. enzymes, anti-oxidants, and etc.) over time.
Answer: It will. Oxygen is the enemy of fresh anything so keep it really cold or frozen and away from any air. Or fill the environment completely with nitrogen (easier said than done)

Answer: I have a Champion juicer and I use it regularly. I've never, however used a recipe. Throw in whatever veggies/fruits you have, get a good cross section/variety and gear the amounts to your personal taste. On person's proportions of different produce won't necessarily appeal to your own taste buds. Any fruit/veg juice with a mix of produce will have antioxidant qualities.

Question: Do Powdered Vegetable Juice Capsules Really Have Benefit? I bought them from the vitamin store. The green powder in the capsules are made from vegetable juice. I believe the enzymes are gone, Supposedly there's still antioxidants in the powder.
Is this true?

Answer: There may be some benefits, depends on the product. But fresh is always best :)
Question: Can you make vegetable juice without a juicer? I really love drinking V8 but I don't always have the time and money to go buy some. I don't have a juicer, but I was wondering if there was any way I could make vegetable juice without a juicer.
Answer: Basically the same way you make soup, although you need some sort of blender, or emulsion blender.
Heat veggies in pot, until soft then blend them up if too thick possible to add chicken stock/broth.
Question: Can I substitue a days' worth of vegetables with vegetable juice? I drink vegetable juice, no problem. Just don't like vegetables on their own.
Answer: Yes you can, but you'll loose out on fibre which might make your tummy hard. Not good in the long run, but for a day or so, no problem.
