Question: How do you feel about women breastfeeding in public? Apparently there are still people still confuse a baby’s right to eat with a woman’s right to expose her breasts. Some people still confuse the lactating breast with a sexual organ. Maybe I have no right to tell them they are mistaken.
How do you feel when you see a woman breastfeeding in public?
Also, would any mother like to share a story of people's reactions to you nursing in public?
Answer: I think "that mother is feeding her baby." I guess I don't really think about it much at all.
Question: What would you do if a mosquito landed on you while you were hanging your washing out? 1. Go in and wash your hands etc incase it was infected and could infect your washing.

Question: How long will you normally hold onto a stock? And would you prefer technical analysis or fundamental? I know it varies from case to case scenario. But may I ask, on average, how long will you hold onto a stock? Moreover, would you prefer to use technical analysis over fundamental analysis for day trading?
Answer: <<>>
On average, years. There are stocks I have only owned for a few days and others that I have owned for over three decades.
<<>>
Normally, fundamental analysis.
<<>>
IF I were day trading, I would use technical analysis almost exclusively.
Question: What do you do when someone approaches you and they stand just a little bit too close? Do you take a step back? Or, in fear of them noticing, do you endure it and hope they move away first? Has this ever happened to you? A person, perhaps someone you know comes up to talk to you and they're pretty close to you, like not far away from your face, but not close enough to make it obviously weird to them?
Answer: Recently I was checking into a hotel and a guy was standing so close to me that he was almost touching me. I had my credit card out to pay for the room and didn't want him to know any of my information. I turned around and said "Would you mind giving me a little space?" He stepped back without a word (I don't think he even realized he was too close).Sometimes it is a cultural thing, or the person has no sense of personal space. I step back a little from them until I'm at a comfortable distance.
Question: What do you think of mixing classical music with pop music together? I like different kinds of music. And I listened to Vanessa-Mae and Maksim Mrvica a few days ago. I think it's a great way to use modern rhythms, noisy drums and guitars in classical music. What do you reckon?
Thank you for listening!
Answer: Up until the advent of modernism, where music became unintelligible to the average Joe, there was no difference between the two. Gershwin successfully straddled the line. Paul McCartney is trying to. Frank Zappa waded through both waters. Brain Eno ( of David Bowie circle) has some successful works considered classical.
Music is music, labels are as constrictive on it as on people.
Question: How do you know what guitar to get? I am looking to buy a guitar! I don't need anything fancy or expensive. But that doesn't mean i want a piece of junk! Question: Do you think displaying the Confederate flag is offensive? For some, the Confederate flag is a negative symbol that brings to mind racism, slavery, and the Pre-Civil War era.
For some, it's just a representation of Southern Heritage.
What do you think about the Confederate Flag and why?
Answer: the Confederate flag isn't offensive at all. I suspect however you mean the "St Andrews Cross" Flag or the "Confederate Battle Flag" which was NOT the official flag of the Confederacy.
The St. Andrews Cross flag was hijacked by racists elements; most notably the KKK and used as a symbol or racist oppression. It became offensive based on that misuse; not because of the Confederacy.
Personally I don't see it as a problem but I'm certainly glad it's not on our states flag any longer. The New Georgia flag is, at least in my opinion, a better tribute to the confederacy than the racially divisive flag that flew over georgia (and many other states) previously.
I don't think it should be banned however i usually avoid people that i see waving it... many are truly honoring their ancestors that fought bravely for the confederacy but there are certainly people that use it with racist intent.
Note that Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee were both abolitionists. Most of the soldiers that fought in the confederacy had no vested interest in slavery and were fighting a war against the invading armies of the Union that had illegitimately invaded confederate territory and refused to remove their soldiers from Confederate property (such as Fort Sumter). That War of Northern Aggression essentially ended any concept of the states being a UNION of independent states and subordinated state authority under Federal control. A grievous departure from the original intent of the constitution that has grown steadily from that to the massive federal bureaucracy we have today.
** thanks joe, i do agree with that and i did say that the symbol of the "st andrews cross" was used by some as a racist symbol.. i just don't think it's something that should be banned. however i do give anyone waving it a wide berth. i personally am very pleased with the new Georgia flag because it does pay tribute to the confederacy without the use of the offensive cross.
Question: What do you think about second guessing in analyzing something? Like saying that "It could be X, but now I'm thinking Y"
Is it bad to stop at the first answer that springs to mind?
I always thought it was kind of bad to second guess yourself, and that usually the first statement, or implication that is made, is usually the best?
What do you think?
Answer: Second guessing yourself is not a bad thing when you are logically trying to work through something. In an essay, second guessing yourself is a very bad thing, generally only in argumentative essays (research essays may have both opinions as their main effort is not to persuade but to inform).
Argumentative essays are intended to be Structuralist - in that they MAKE things fit even when they don't. Deconstructionists are the ones who analyze those works and deduce that Structuralists make things appear to fit with their line of thought even when the don't.
As an essayist, you generally need to be a Structuralist.
I don't know if your question pertained to essays, but I gave you the answer to both the questions I thought you might be asking.
:)
Question: How do you make a really cool introduction for YouTube videos? I have a regular dell computer. I use Windows Movie Make for my videos. I just want to know how to make a really cool intro for my YouTube videos. (Not pictures with music in the background) So if you could help me by giving me a website that would be great.
Answer: "really cool" editing software.
Windows Movie Maker does not fit those standards.
Any cheap (not free) software will do. By cheap I mean $40+

Question: How do you develop a positive outlook on life and stop negativity? There seems to be negativity everywhere, and it is basically how I am. Always worrying about someting, always expecting the worst, society pressures, pressures and expectations from family peers, and that of myself. The list goes on and on and on and on. It's ALWAYS something.
Well, I personally don't want to lead a tortured life, and it doesn't have to be that way. But everywhere you look, something else is negative.
How does one develop a positive outlook on life and stops this negativity?
Answer: Have you ever gotten something new, like a new car, and chosen that one because you thought it was kind of cool and unique, you hadn't seen many around before, etc?
But then, within a few weeks of driving the car around, you start to notice them, more and more, and then it begins to seem like they are everywhere?
This happens because you weren't looking for them before so you never saw them, but you are now and so you do. Where I'm going with this is that, to have a positive outlook, you have to be actively looking for the positive. There is plenty of negativity in this world, but there is also plenty of positivity, and whichever you are actively looking for is what you will find more of.
When you begin seeing the positivity in the world, your state of mind will begin to change. You will begin to see positivity not only in other people, but in the most simplest things. When positivity begins to build in you, it is then your job to spread it back into the world, even in small ways. Just saying hi or holding a door for someone, complimenting someone, helping out even though you aren't required to, little things like that go a long way, in both spreading positivity and building your own.
Question: How do you go about stocking up on clothes for the upcoming season? As the seasons are changing, I am realizing its time to start getting warmer clothes for the fall and winter. With 2 kids under two, and a boy and girl (they can't share clothes)So I have lots of shopping to do it looks like...
How do you go about stocking up on the upcoming seasons clothes for your little ones?
Answer: I don't buy too many clothes brand new unless it's for a special occasion or it's just something really precious and a decent price. Most of my son's clothes are bought at thrift stores (we've got some nice ones that carry name brand clothes like The Children's Place, Gymboree, Gap, etc. I also live in an area where they have Just Between Friends sales. You can find all kinds of things there, not just clothes. I just recently bought a lot of fall/winter items for my son a couple weeks ago at one. I even bought a pair of Gymboree Christmas pajamas (totally cute) that still had the tags on. I only paid $5 for the set as opposed to the $39.50 on the price tag. That's the way we roll! hah! =)
He's growing so fast that I just can't justify buying brand new, brand name clothes at full price when he's only going to wear them for a short time. I'll let someone with disposable income do that.
Question: What do you think, when you see someone with obvious self injury scars? On my arms and legs I have lots and lots and lots of self injury scars. They're pretty obvious, especially on my legs. With my arms I wear bracelets and makeup so they aren't completely obvious, but the ones on my legs are very obvious and there's a lot. I can't even begin to count, somewhere around 500 at least. What would you think if you saw someone in public wearing shorts with so many scars on her legs? Would you think she's wearing shorts just for the attention?
Answer: Attention Seeker
I know its not a genuine mental disorder like being bi-polar or schizo, because I'm 27, and teenagers didnt do it as much when I was a teen. It was virtually non-existent in the 1950's. I saw the TREND get bigger and bigger as I reached my late teens. Now with this new generation of teens I see questions like this all over the place on here. Of course there were a few here and there when I was a pre-teen, maybe 1 in my whole school. Now theres at least 20 in any given school. Its for attention, nothing more.
Question: What do you do with the semen after you masturbate? If you wipe it up with something, what do you use? Is there a particular piece of cloth you have handy for this purpose?
Answer: I use an old t-shirt I catch the semen in before it gets on anything else. Actually I have 2 because one wouldn't have enough time to dry. I hide them in the back of a drawer nobody would ever go into.
When they get too scrungy I put them through the washer when nobody's home.
By the way, the best time to masturbate is when they come out of the dryer and they're nice and warm..mmmmm.
Question: What happens when you get an ECHOCARDIOGRAM done? Its the transvascular type. Do you have to remove your bra? Will they give me a gown or something?? I am VERY uncomfortable being completely exposed like that.
Answer: You will have to remove shirt and bra and you will wear a gown that opens up in the front. The person doing the test (atleast when I got mine done) doesn't expose your chest. They just slip there hand with the instrument used to do the test under the gown. Atleast that is how it was for me. But I highly doubt they will expose you.
