Question: What are probable reasons for changes in health after ingesting vitamins and minerals? Can you identify probable reasons for changes in health after ingesting vitamins and minerals?
Answer: It is a wellknown fact that there is a "competition" between healthy eating/living and pollution. The more pollution (in the food we eat, the air we breathe etc), the greater is the need of vitamins and minerals.
If we inherit a less good health, it means we need to set higher demands to our diet.
Increased strain by one metal (cadmium as an example) requires a better protection of the opposite mineral zink.
Let me for a moment refer to our aging process as a rust-process. Areas in the body that only get sufficient oxygen only now and then, easier gets weakened - sometimes referred to as a "reperfusion-injury". This process is hurried up by certain vitamins and minerals, also called pro-oxidants because they hurry up the oxidation-process, or say the rust-process.
To stay healthy is to take sufficient - not too much and not too little - antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. That way, our body is helped back to the homeostasis - the optimal balance.
Hope it helps
R.O.
Question: Can taking to many of these vitamins hurt my health? I am taking one Prenatal Vitamin and one B-100 complex vitamin a day to enrich the health of my hair and 1 calcium pill for my bones a day. I am also taking (a day) a melatonin pill to help me sleep (prescribed by my doctor), one fish oil pill, and 1 biotin pill (also for my hair). The vitamins for my hair help in other areas as well. Does this sound like too much?
Answer: Provided you are eating a balanced diet you do not supplements.
It is possible to overdose on vitamins. Too much vitamin A in particular is dangerous to pregnant women as it may harm the fetus.
B vitamins are water soluable so if you take too much it is disposed of in urine.
Calcium over dose can cause stomach problems and diarrhea. Calcium taken orally is not easily absorbed by the body anyway.
Biotin is a B vitamin so is probably in the B-100 Complex and th prenatal pill.
To sum up you will have guessed I do think you are overdoing it.
Question: taking centrium mens prostate and colon health vitamins and started peeing every hour.? just started taking centrum prostate and colon health vitamins and now i'm peeing every hour. 31 years old and could usually go 3 to 4 hours before peeing. Any one every had this problem taking multivitamins?
Answer: It could be the amount of B vitamins in the product. That will sometimes have a diuretic effect and cause you to urinate more often. This should level out after taking the product for several weeks.

Answer: Hi ,
I take Arbonne Hybrid for woman. They are vitamin packs and they have an amazing ORAC value for the antioxidants. they have minerals, calcium, and are made with special stuff for digestion. Arbonne only sells them through their consultants, but you can sign up as a consultant and purchase with a discount. No other purchase requirements. Just like having a Sams Club membership.
Email me and look at my profile if you want more information. I would be happy to send you their complete details.

Answer: Stress less. This means finally ending that draining relationship, quitting the job you hate, trying that new hobby, going out with friends, hiring a babysitter-whatever it takes to release some stress!
I just went through the same thing (I am young too, 23) and found that my financial problems and relationships were literally draining the life out of me. Anxiety will rob you of all of your youthful energy and make you old before your time. Find out the sources of your stress and anxiety and take steps to eliminate them or at least get them under control. Here are some ideas:
-get your physical health checked for piece of mind
-clear up financial problems, come up with a budget and stick to it.
-cut ties with people who are draining you emotionally, financially, etc.
-strengthen relationships with those who love and care about you and that are supportive
-pick up a hobby
-keep going to the gym
-meditate (seriously)
-drink more water
-take vitamins. B vitamins are helpful with energy.
-eat healthier
-drink less
-quit smoking
I have found these all to be helpful. It sounds to me that you are mentally exhausted as well as physically. Thinking positively and surrounding yourself with good people will do more for your health than any pill or vitamin out there!

Question: What are the health benefits of taking daily multi-vitamins? Those ones for men or woman. I just started taking the woman daily multi-vitamin and I was curious as to the health benefits of taking them.
Answer: In general, a good daily multivitamin/mineral supplement improves your overall bodily functioning and boosts both your physical and mental health and well-being. Sometimes supplementation with specific nutrients may be more appropriate in order to address any individual specific needs. For example, CoQ10 is especially helpful for those at risk for heart disease, and Vitamins C and E, taken in combination to help ward off Alzheimer's disease. A multivitamin supplement usually contains the recommended daily dose of a variety of vitamins and other nutrients. Sometimes, multivitamin supplements are formulated for specific age groups, or individual conditions such as pregnancy. Multivitamins also are at their most efficient when they are in liquid form, as the body has been proven to absorb them five times more efficiently than multivitamins in pill form.
Many people report a feeling of general well being when they are taking their daily multivitamins regularly. The individual vitamins and nutrients in a quality daily multivitamin dose delivers to you their specific benefits of each individual vitamin, plus you get the combined (synergistic) benefits of all of the ingredients working together. Vitamin E, for example, a fat-soluble antioxidant vitamin helps to neutralize potentially damaging free radicals in the body and it is particularly important for the protection of cell membranes as well as maintaining healthy skin, heart and circulation, nerves, muscles and red blood cells. Vitamin C on the other hand is water soluble, but like Vitamin E, it is an antioxidant. It helps white blood cells combat infection, is essential for wound healing, for the formation of collagen, for healthy skin, and for the formation of other important structural materials in bones, teeth and capillaries. It also helps with the absorption of iron from plant sources. Vitamins D, K, A, and other nutrients in a multivitamin supplement all have specific beneficial effects on our bodies ranging from minimizing the risks of heart problems to helping to ward off Alzeheimer’s disease.
It is important to take your daily multivitamin in a liquid form regularly to enjoy these benefits to their fullest extent. Vigorous training, for example, increases the production of free radicals in the body. When involved in an exercise program, we should, therefore, increase the intake of antioxidants such as beta-carotene, vitamin C and vitamin E, and ensure you take adequate amounts of the proper vitamins and minerals required to maintain strong, healthy bones and joints such as calcium and iron. Also, older people over 55 years, convalescents, those who consume large amounts of alcohol, those with active, busy lives, people with colds, smokers, those exposed to excessive pollution, athletes and routine aspirin users need to take more daily and regular multivitamins.
