Question: How can I sue a nutrition supplement store for selling a product that leads to rapid hairloss? ? The product is a multi vitam but apparently it contains ingredients that cause hair loss. This has happened to many other people too.
Answer: Contact an attorney. I'm not a lawyer, but I bet your biggest problem will be showing that the supplement was the cause of the hair loss.

Question: Nutrition supplement for a kitten instead of a high costing food?? Instead of buying a small expensive bag of all natural cat food like Orijen or Innova, can I use Iams kitten food and feed the kitten a weekly supplement that would work just as good as if I was feeding it that better quality food?
Answer: I would not advise it. And I certainly would advise against Iams, which is low quality for high cost.
Cats were never meant to eat dry food, also known as cereals or kibble. We, humans, make them eat it for convenience to us. It has nothing to do with them or their nutritional needs. It's completely species inappropriate.
All small domestic cats descended from desert cats. In the wild, desert cats derive their entire liquid intake from their prey. They do not have a thirst mechanism because they don't need it when eating a species appropriate diet. They get all they need from what they eat. Additionally water was usually not available to them in their desert climate. So they do not often drink water. Regular ol' house cats have descended from those same wild desert cats.
So in a home environment, your kitty does not get the moisture it needs from dry food and it’s almost always in a constant state of dehydration. Water fountains are encouraged to TRY to get your cat to drink more and your kitty may even enjoy it, but it will never meet its water intake needs drinking from a bowl.
Deadly feline illnesses such as diabetes, kidney failure, obesity, allergies, Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD), bladder stones, kidney stones, urinary tract blockages and Urinary Tract Infections (FLUTD), with and without deadly crystals run rampant these days. Cats are not taking in enough water to stave them off. Proper water intake through a species appropriate diet alone can prevent most of these conditions.
Overall, wet is all around better for any cats diet, be it canned or Raw and they should never be fed dry cereal kibble if we wish to most closely match their wild nutritional and dietary needs. Kibble meets our needs… not our cats.
I recommend varying the diet with a constant rotation of accepted canned foods that your cat enjoys. If you do this, and allow your cat the same assortment they would have in nature when eating mice, bugs, birds and rabbits, your cats’ digestive system won't be so sensitive and you won't have to run around looking for a specific brand when your store is out. You will have a nice variety to choose from instead.
Canned foods I recommend for your rotation:

Question: Is Beet Pulp a good supplement for added horse nutrition? I am concerned about a horse who is unable to gain and maintain a healthly weight. I am looking for an alternative diet in addition to 10% protein pelleted feed. Have you ever used Beet Pulp to supplement a horses standard diet? If so, how much do you feed and what were the results?
Answer: I have used it and was not happy with the results, my horses had diarrhea the whole time they were on it. However, I hear that many many people use it with great weight gain. I know that you should really soak it prior to feeding, it expands, and if you feed it dry you can over feed and colic the horse.
Add it slowly to the diet so that your horse adjusts to it, but, as I said, mine never did. I used shopped alfalfa and molasses with great success for weight gain.

Question: What's the best protein/energy/nutrition shake or mix supplement? i'm about 14 (girl) and i wanted to build up some muscle. obviously no steroids or anything and I was told to stay away from high-calorie. What's the best deal?
Answer: I've been an avid weightlifter for four years now. And the thing i've found most helpful (recommended by my dad, also a long time weightlifter.) Is actually chocolate milk. Chocolate milk contains the right portion of Carbohydrates to ensure a quick recovery, and protein to help rebuild muscle tissue. When you gain muscle weight. Its actually new muscle tissue building over your 'injured ' muscle tissue from the workout. So chocolate milk is actually the most beneficial thing to drink post-workout.
Question: I went to edge nutrition today and bought a supplement that's 3 months over the due date? I was being dumb and didnt think to look at the due date, first off is I safe to consume still? It's labelled 06-10 and on the receipt it says no refunds or exhanges so does that mean I can't even bring it in and get a newer bottle? Thanks alot!
Answer: Well to start off selling an expired product is illegal. They may not have meant to sell you the product, but if they refuse to give you an exchange for a new bottle of the same type of supplement then they can be taken to court. Secondly, you CAN technically take supplements after they expire but they will loose their effectiveness after time. For instance, lets say you buy a multi-vitamin that expired 2 months ago; that multi-vitamin will not give you the nutrition that it promises to give you on the bottle because its...well...old. Hope this helped.
Question: Which company offers the best vitamin supplement in terms of nutrition?
