Question: What are the best weight loss foods that taste good? I love cereal, oats, veggies and fruits. I am getting married in three months and am really trying to drop a few lbs. Even some high fiber energy foods!!
Answer: started this Diet (lifestyle change) in the middle of November at 140lbs, and now at 119lbs
A DIET IS WHAT YOU EAT....there for we are all on a diet....
THINK LIFESTYLE CHANGE
You got the change the way you think and feel about food
TRY THIS, and stick to it.
The first 3-4 weeks are the hardest until your body adjusts to the change.
Results will be in about the same time
Fruits and Veggies
Eat more plants and keep away from stuff that was made in plants.
Don't eat anything that comes in a can, box or package....
.....THEY HAVE ADDITIVES IN THEM THAT MAKE YOU ADDICTED TO THE FOOD.....
If man made it, don't eat it
NO white BREAD or SUGAR
NO FRIED FOOD...
Stay away from FAST FOOD
Walk your dog, or walk a friends dog
Don't think of it as a diet, but think of it as a lifestyle change
I have lost 25.5 pounds in 2 months, drink lots of water. I usually eat a meal of what ever I want once a week....controlled portion....this really works.........
Write down every thing you eat
Take a multi vitamin at night
Question: What are the top weight loss foods? I'm 15, and need to drop about 10 pounds. Just wondering what are the best weight loss foods, ones that kick up the metabolism, etc.
Answer: I haven't heard of any foods that increase your metabolism, but to lose weight, decrease your calory intake and exercise more, such as running on a treadmill for half an hour every day.
Question: What are some good weight loss foods? I'm 17. I'm not overweight, but I'm trying to set a record at my school for bench press (300 pounds- I bench 285). That's for the 135-150 pound weight class though, and I weigh 154 approximately. I already work out regularly (swimming, running, lifting, etc.), and I'm not loosing much weight, so I figure it's my diet.
I need something that I can snack on throughout the day, and is a good filler, without a lot of calories/sugar.
Answer: A combination of good carbohydrates, fats, and proteins will help you lose weight easily. For example, good carbohydrates are low fat milk or soy milk, vegetables, and fruits that you can have in your daily diet and make sure you do get rid of them. Good fats are olives, nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, etc.), and avocados because your body does need some type of fats. Also, have lean proteins (fish, turkey, chicken, eggs, beans, etc.) so you won’t go hungry during the day.
Question: What are good weight loss foods? I'm trying to loose a couple of pounds and I was wondering what foods were best for loosing weight.
I was thinking..something along the lines of eating healthier..
maybe maybe
Answer: Eat less. Only healthy food. No greasy, fast food or high carbs.
More exercise.
Question: what are some healthy weight loss foods? i work out from 2 hours a day id just like to know what foods to eat if i wanted to lose weight. like, whats healthy? veges grilled chicken and fish....any ideas?
Answer: Pretty much all vegetables are good. Some have a little more calories than others but generally they have few calories and lots of fiber. Also, if you like bread or pasta, try to eat whole wheat and make sure they don't just "contain" wheat but actually are whole wheat. They not only have fiber and less processed grains, but whole wheat has been found to have other health benefits as well. Try to drink plenty of fluids but not juice or soda. Drink water, and if you don't like just plain water, drink flavored seltzer waters that don't have calories or very few. People don't realize it when they drink all their calories because they don't feel full. Turkey has less fat than chicken, and make sure you eat baked chicken or saute it in a small amount of olive oil and use seasonings for flavoring (i.e. spices, garlic, onions, etc.). Try to avoid too much salt because that can make you retain water. You do need some sodium in your diet though. That's it for now. Good luck.

Question: Can a primary care doctor sell weight loss foods/supplements?
Answer: There's no reason why they can't, but if my doctor was trying to sell me crap like Juice Plus or Jenny Craig, I would seek another doctor. :) They can give you prescription weight loss drugs, if you went trying to find weight loss help, you should check out your prescription options and ask him about them specifically (or the other doctor you choose to go to)
Question: What weight loss foods to eat? weight loss foods to eat
Answer: Try adding "calorie burning" activities to your daily routine. Simple ones might not need that much extra time but if you then keep at it they will add up.
Maybe when you get home,,. instead of walking in just go round the block once. Or take the stairs instead of that elevator. Once a week, skip dinner but have a piece of celery instead. Whatever you do, stick to it, then when it has become routine, add more.

Question: Good Weight loss Foods? Fast and Easy to make a must.? I have decided to try to lose a few pounds but have no clue what I should be eating. I hate to and therefore never cook. I eat hot pockets for lunch and Mcdonald's for dinner usually. So I need good fod ideas for my new weight loss plan. But it has to be fast easy stuff. Like Natural foods (besides all the fruits and veggies) and wrap ideas and what kind of wraps I should use. And if there are any processed foods that are less than terrible for me. And just for the record I am not a big chicken fan. Except for processes chicken slices which I am sure are not healthy :o) Any other tips you have are welcome. I really want to succeed this time. Excerise ideas would be welcome too as I plan to start one of those as well. I understand I need both healthy food and excersise to lose the weight and keep it off. That is why it is so important to me to make it as easy to fit into my lifestyle. So i'll stick with it, so any loss will be for life.
Answer: I think that this is a battle you will face for a lifetime unless you decide to change your lifestyle. Hot pockets and McDonalds are not good food choices. You have to prepare your foods.
Simply eating fruits and veggies everyday require some thought. Go to http://www.mypyramid.gov and find out what you should be eating everyday. How you choose to prepare those foods is your choice- simple cooking techniques are easy to learn - and a salad with no-low cal dressing, a piece of fruit, and a container of yogurt, is as simple as anything to fix for lunch. Learning to eat fish is a lifeline to maintain weight loss.
Make sure you buy at least 3 servings EACH of fruit and vegetables for each day. No cooking involved!! I make sure I buy 21 pieces/servings of fruit every week.

Question: What are some tasty foods for weight loss in the summer? What are some good ideas or recipes for delicious foods that can help you lose weight in the summer?
Answer: You don’t need to starve yourself, nor do you need to start a crazy diet to look good in your new swimsuit. Summer weight loss can be best achieved through consuming fewer calories than you burn, and by choosing healthier foods to eat. It’s easier to make better food choices in the summer – heavier food choices and meals full of calories are a turn off from the heat of the summer months. The best summer weight loss foods are those that you don’t need to slave away in the kitchen to prepare, and they are light and refreshing!
The easiest way to cut back on calories is to eat more vegetables and fruits, as recommended by experts. That’s one of the best weight loss tips! Because produce is at its best during the summertime, it’s great to enjoy delicious fruits and vegetables from your local markets and grocery stores. Produce is also full of good antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, and fiber too! Enjoy as much as you want as well – don’t limit your portions, as you can’t hurt yourself from enjoying such healthy foods!
If you’re looking to save some time making your meals, add prepared foods like soups and chicken to your fresh produce. It might end up costing you a little more, but you’ll really save time in the long run. Here are some examples of great foods to enjoy that can promote quick weight loss:
Grilled Veggies
You can use grilled onions, zucchini, carrots, bell peppers, asparagus, garlic, and eggplant to make tasty and healthy quick weight loss foods like:
•Grilled vegetable, ricotta, and fresh herb pasta and frittatas
•Grilled vegetable pitas
•Grilled vegetable and goat cheese salads
Salads
There’s no formal recipe needed when creating a delicious salad. They can also be made up fast for a quick and healthy meal. Rinse off and slice up your fresh produce. Add some fruits, vegetables, low-fat cheese, toasted nuts, fresh salad greens, and some light raspberry vinaigrette or ginger. You can complete your meal by adding a whole grain roll.
Also, try a good bean or whole-grain salad such as wheatberry or tabouli.
If you decide to flavor your salad with fresh herbs from the garden, you can save calories by adding less dressing. You can also add some meat or fish, as long as it’s done lightly.
Chilled Soups
Another great choice for a low-calorie meal is cold soup. Gazpacho and cucumber-dill soup are both great beginnings to delicious meals. You’ll be able to eat less and feel more full by beginning your meal with a nice tasty low-cal or broth-based soup.
Fruit-Based Desserts
Instead of choosing a traditional dessert rich in calories, satisfy your cravings and sweet tooth with a more natural dessert, such as:
•Grilled banana sundaes made with low-fat ice cream
•Frozen grapes
•A chocolate-covered frozen banana
•Grilled white peaches with blackberries and honey
•Grilled pineapple with rum and pecans
•Frozen, dark, sweet cherries
Watermelon
A crisp and juicy slice of watermelon is not just a great summer weight loss fruit, but it’s very refreshing as well! Also, because half of the watermelon is made from water, it can satisfy your thirst as well!
Low- and No-Calorie Beverages
Smoothies, sodas, sweetened teas, and sweetened specialty coffee drinks are all easy to drink when it’s hot outside, but they can have a surprisingly high calorie count. Keep an eye out for drinks like that since you’ll be drinking a lot during the summer to quench your thirst. Also remember that drinks can help you stay cooler from the heat, but they usually don’t have any affect on your appetite. You can still enjoy refreshing treats and drinks while you maintain your diet during the summer!
