Question: Energy drink? I had a mountain dew "tall boy" energy drink. It took nearly 3 hours to get a boost of energy at all. Is that normal? I want an energy drink that tastes good and works quick. What kind should I get?

Question: What is the best kind of energy drink that really works, gives more energy to exercise? I've tried those 5 hour energy drinks and I don't feel a thing. What is the best kind of energy drink that really works, gives more energy to exercise longer? I want something that really works. Any idea what I should get? I don't wanna spend too much money on whatever energy drink that really works, I just wanna get whatever energy that really works for one or two weeks and by then after all that good workout I should have the energy to be able to exercise without those drinks.
Answer: Energy drinks are in fact pretty poor compared to other products for energy. But unfortunately you'll probably have to pay through the nose for them. If you buy creatine powder and take that before a workout and you get more blood flow to muscles therefore more energy. (It's also non calorific-but expensive) if you want a decent energy drink try red bull and you'll be bouncing of the walls in no time.
HOPE I HELPED :)

Go to http://www.cocaine-drink.com/
and you can get a complete list of nutrient and ingredients
then show it to the folks or print it off and give it to them.
the only negative about these products is you can get very bad headaches if you drink a lot of them and then stop, They are not meant to be drank like a soda or glass of juice or water.

The name of the energy drink would be good and how many i should drink would be good also =) thanks guys.
Answer: none whatsoever. what do you want to stay up all night for study ? party?
first, just drink coffee or nothing at all, after 3 o clock or so tiredness kind of goes over and you can continue studying
for partying, amphetamine guarantees that you wont sleep that night. if you are not into drugs you are more likely to drink yourself under the counter than to sleep from simply being tired

Question: Is it good to drink an energy drink before a work out? Is it good to drink a Rockstar, Monster, or Red Bull before working out? I've heard that energy drinks really aren't good for you, though I heard that some men drink it before working out. I'm curious to know, is it good for you to drink before exercising?
Answer: They are not the healthiest choice to begin with, but on the other hand I still drink them.
But definitely not before exercising.
They have been known to make you heart race, and using them before working out, could be very dangerous.
Energy Drinks Should Not Be Consumed During Exercise
Energy drinks should not be confused with sports drinks such as Gatorade, which are consumed to help people stay hydrated during exercise. Sports drinks also provide carbohydrates in the form of sugar and electrolytes that may be lost through perspiration.
The caffeine in energy drinks acts as a diuretic and promotes dehydration.
Here is an article about how they affect your health.
Around the USA, the drinks have been linked with reports of nausea, abnormal heart rhythms and emergency room visits. [1]
Energy drinks may cause seizures in those who suffer from certain forms of epilepsy due to the "crash" following the energy high that occurs after consumption.[4] France banned the popular energy drink Red Bull after the death of eighteen-year-old athlete Ross Cooney, who died after he played a basketball game after consuming four cans of the drink.[5] The French Scientific Committee (J.D. Birkel) concluded that Red Bull has excessive amounts of caffeine.[5] Denmark also banned Red Bull. Britain investigated the drink, but only issued a warning against its use by pregnant women.[5] (SOURCE WIKIPEDIA)
Many reasons NOT to use them before working out.
I only use gatorade, propel, and water when I work out, I'd Suggest the same for you.
Good luck and I hope this answers your question!

Question: Is it okay to drink a monster energy before a boxing match? I want to know if it's okay to drink a energy drink, like monster energy, before a boxing fight, to be full of energy and to not get tired easily. Is it okay? Explain.
Answer: No it is not ok. The sugar rush will lead to a sugar crash and you will decline in performance. In fact I remember reading in yahoo sports a week ago about a guy on the Lakers who had a sweet toooth and it was hurting his play on the field because he lost focus after the sugar rush wore off. The crash will make you tired and you won't perform better than with natural conditioning training. So it is not illegal in that sense but it is not recommended. I knew a kid back in high school in track that drank an energy drink and collapsed right after the race.
Question: does RockstaR energy drink really work? ok, so i have tried RockstaR energy drink because i heard it's one of the best energy drinks that taste good and gives you energy; however, I don't feel energized at all! i have tried 2 types of RockstaR, original, and the ZERO CARB(this one supposably was the best at energizing and has more caffeine) i sometimes work late so I try out the energy drink but end up feeling sleepy even after drinking RockstaR. and yes i drink the energy drink when and before i feel sleepy or out of energy. anyone know whats going on here? and what energy drink "really" works?
Answer: The reason you feel tired after drinking one of those so called "energy drinks" is because Caffeine does not give you energy. It stimulates your nervous system and adrenals. That's not energy, it's stress. Caffeine triggers a classic fight-or-flight reaction. You might appreciate the following link:

Question: What Energy Drink effect inside your body? I want to know what happen if you drink Energy Drink and then how you feel? What Energy Drink effect inside your body? Could you tell me which energy drink has a lot of caffine?
This question is interesting or not?
Answer: Energy Drinks make you feel very alert and hyper. All they pretty much do is give you a high dosage of caffeine.
Caffeine dilates your blood vessels and allows a lot more blood to flow through, which makes you more alert and awake.
All Energy Drinks have a LOT of caffeine. For example: Red Bull, Rockstar, Tab, Monster, and many others.

Question: What are the effects of drinking an energy drink before athletic activity? I am doing a project for my college class and it would really help me out a lot if you could tell me how energy drink effect your performance. It would even be better if you would time yourself doing some sort of activity before you have an energy drink and after. Thanks so much
Answer: That depends on what you call an Energy drink.
Something like Gatorade is intended to quickly hydrate you, and does so because the 7% carbohydrate solution passes through the intestinal wall faster than plain water. Gatorade does a lot of testing and research (using amateur athletes like me....). See link below for data
If you're talking about something like Red Bull, that's a bad idea. I made the mistake of having a Red Bull once before an off-road triathlon. I had heart palpitations through the swim and the first couple miles of the bike before I wore off whatever was in it. Needless to say it hurt performance because I was afraid to go hard before my heart rate settled down.
