Answer: Cancer in many ways is related to ones length of exposure to carcinogens, the time needed for mutinogenic changes to occur or be detectable and if you live long enough for a cancer to show symtoms of cancer. All of these factores favor higher cancer rates as one grows older, however many increasing rates of certain caners today are occuring in younger populations. There are amny arguments to exactly why this is occuring, but an aging population isn't a factor if cancers in younger people are increasing. The most common factors cited are poor western diets, exposure to more toxins, increasing UV exposure, our lyfestyle choices among many others. So eat that crappy broccoli, excersise regularly and never smoke, drink, go outside, or breath unless you absolutly have to to minamize possible exposure to any thing cancerous. It just that easy..............not!

Answer: they get to see this junk earth be filled with more garbage, they get to see more crappy adverts on TV, more corruption, the transition from free country to authoritarian, more wars, more debt, more pollution. more sickness, more scams, etc.

My friend is a hospital admin, he says that it costs the insurance companys more if you live longer, have an extended stay in a nursing home setting, than what it costs to treat smokers.. if he knows this then the insurance comanys know this. whats the deal?? do they really care that much about us or is there a bigger payoff in the future???

Answer: You're just seeing this now? Insurance companies are out to make a profit, bottom line type stuff. They really couldn't care less about who lives or dies, it's all about actuarial tables that tell them a good risk from a bad one. Don't think for one minute that any one of the executives at the insurance companies give a crap about little Susie who's dying a horrible death because she doesn't fit into their tables. Question: If smoking, eating butter and all the other things are so bad for us why are we living longer? In the 50`s most adults after the war smoked like troopers, ate nothing but butter, had an egg everyday and if they could afford it a nice rasher of bacon cooked in dripping with a nice slice of fried bread. Everything was cooked in good old lard. They were encouraged to `Drink a pint of milk a day` Fish and Chips were a weekly treat. Yet these are the folk who are now living longer and seem to be causing the government such a problem. Makes you think!

Answer: Living longer is partially a statistical thing, not necessarily to do with health in later life. Most if not all of the diseases which killed many children a few generations ago have been eradicated through vaccination. Modern drugs and surgery keep many people alive into old age who would have died around retirement age without such innovations. Sadly, long life, in my humble opinion, is only a good thing if it of good quality. I don't smoke, don't drink too much, but I do like my butter, and bacon and eggs!

Answer: Because with the influx of seniors and older persons, who are managing and living healthier lifestyles, the diagnosis, cure, and treatment of diseases, and education about risks .. people become wiser to healthier steps to prolong their lives. Children suffering from obesity, is most environmental and behavioral..even if a person is young, and a parent is either lazy or uneducated about nutrition, once they mature, they can take steps to reverse unhealthy lifestyles. I think also once you get older, you do all that you can to prolong your health.

Question: How Do I keep My Roses Living Longer? A part of my Valentine's gifts from my boyfriend was a dozen roses.. I've had roses from him before, and I find that they die fairly quickly.. Is there anything I can do to make them live longer?

Answer: The will does not have to be updated and it CERTAINLY cannot be updated if the person who drafted the will is now senile. It will depend on the laws of your state and the language in the will regarding whether or not the estate of the dead niece can inherit. In my state, the surviving niece would receive 100% of your great aunt's estate unless there was a provision in the will that made it clear that the estate of an heir could inherit.

Answer: My females have always outlived males - females of most species outlive the males. Don't keep them on pine or cedar shavings - they're toxic to rats. Try and find some hardwood (ie aspen) or paper shavings instead. Clean them out every other day. Answer: The electricity company would know if a new tenant has moved in (if they connected in their name) and if you moved and reconnected in a new place. Ask to speak to a supervisor when you ring them and don't just ignore it because it can affect your credit. You could also get an affidavit from your landlord stating the date you moved out and an affidavit from your new landlord or the person you are living with now. By the way I am sure you know by now it is up to you to cancel or transfer phone, electricity or any other services.
