Weight Loss Supplements
Question: Are weight loss supplements dangerous or do they work? I am doing some weight training for the first time. I love working out and want the best possible results. I'm seeking to become a personal trainer, do some excersise videos, and be in a few fitness magazines. Do weight loss supplements, such as hydroxycut or slimquik, really work? Are they dangerous for your body? How do they work?
Thank you kindly for answering. I appreciate you all.
Answer: theyre ripoffs... and they arent healthy for you..if you read fine print they tell you to eat right and exercise so that tells you that they dont work.. so its better just to do it the old fashioned way, eat right and exercise!
Question: Does anyone know of any particularly good weight loss supplements? Does anyone know of any particularly good weight loss supplements?
I’m looking for something to help curb my appetite (not to replace a meal, just curb the hunger between meals) and boost my energy, but not make me jittery.
I’m just looking for a good supplement that is legal, helpful and over the counter.
I’m not trying to lose massive amounts of weight but I feel like I need a little boost to go with my better eating habits and exercise.
I think I will try the whole chocolate thing!
Answer: The first thing to learn about weight loss supplements is how and why different types work so that you can find the best one for your own body. There are some good articles posted here that explain how and why different types of diet pills work. http://www.weightlossfatloss.us/diet_pills.asp Find the right one and they work great.
Question: Why are weight loss supplements dangerous for those with thyroid disease? Why are most weight loss supplements dangerous for people who are suffering from a thyroid disease? Is this reason still substantial for those whose thyroid is regulated with medication?
Answer: They can be dangerous because alot of them contain ephedra. Ephedra can affect your heart rate and blood pressure, things that are already slightly unstable because its being controlled thyroid replacement hormones, such as synthroid.
Question: Can anyone recommend any weight loss supplements? I am trying to lose a few pounds and wondered weight loss supplements actually work. Any help would be appreciated.
Answer: I've been trying out these Cell Press Plus capsules, http://mydietshopz.com/ceplredbispe.html to help me loose a few pounds. They aid in helping you feel more full before your meals and I take them about an hour to an hour an a half before I plan to eat. I found that I was an over-eater, so I figured I should try this out and so far so good. If you are looking for something on the lines to help you achieve fullness before a meal, I suggest you try these capsules. Hope this helps you out!

Question: what weight loss supplements worked for you? in your opinion, what weight loss supplements and/or appetite suppresents worked for you? i dont want to hear that they are all scams, cause i know some do work and i want to know if any have worked for you. thanks!
Answer: None
This industry is dominated by big corps looking for easy profit. All those so called supplements do is clog your body.
You can suppress your appetite and feed your body with all necessary vitamins and minerals, by learning more herbal, natural way to stay the way you really want.
I have a lot of knowledge hands on on fantastic products which are very affordable and would cut deep in profits of some produces in USA and Western Europe, but it is too late, those herbal supplements are becoming more and more popular, and will make a huge difference in our lifestyle .

Question: Where to find the best Ephedrine + Caffeine supplements for weight loss? Desperately in need of useful weight loss supplement to help lose 30lbs gained during pregnancy. HELP!!
I've been doing some research and discovered that the best weight loss supplement combination is 25mg Ephedrine, 200mg caffeine, and 5mgs Yohimbe. However, I haven't been able to locate a supplement that contains these ingredients. Do you know of any? Also, what are the best sites to find these products?
Answer: This is not a healthy way to loose weight but it's your life and your choice. I am loosing weight the natural and healthy way on a no diet weight loss plan. I have lost 30 pounds in just over 40 days and I did not skip meals, buy or eat special foods, nor did I have to take drugs. The ingredients in this natural weight loss plan are awesome and this plan is simple and it only takes 15 minutes a day to implement into your life. I generally eat fairly healthy, salads on occasion, fruits, my veggies, grilled or broiled vs fried but I do still eat fast food a few times a week with my kids but it has not stopped my weight loss. Also I have not exercised as I cannot physically due to lower back problems. Whatever your choice is best wishes to you and I know you can do it the naturally and healthy way because I am and I'm 45
Question: Do Herbal Weight Loss Supplements Work? Since herbal drugs or herbal supplements are not really tested by Food and Drug Administration or i mean maybe not all. I was this planning to buy herbal weight loss supplements, do you think it is effective or I would just waste time losing weight taking this drug? I really need more information about this. Thanks in advance!
Answer: Taking herbal weight loss supplements would really help you lose weight but it is best taken with proper diet and exercise. Like all supplements, weight loss pills approved for sale by the FDA are safe, but there is no guarantee they are effective.
Question: Which are the best weight loss Supplements? I would like to know that which are the best working weight loss supplements and Pills that i can buy online?
Answer: Diet pills are a waste of money, don't work, and some are actually bad for you with nasty side effects. No pill, potion or supplement will help. Please don't fall for all the spam adverts you see. Most of the sites are scams and people have lost a lot of money ordering these products on line with the so called "free trials".
All you need is a good healthy diet - lots of fruit and veg, and exercise. It takes time and motivation:)
Question: Are there any weight loss supplements (pills, tea, etc.) for people under the age of 18? I am younger than 18, and I want to be on supplements to speed up the weight loss. Normally I would stick to a healthy diet, but I need to be in good shape by April. Any ideas? Thanks!
Answer: I have been through it all and know what's it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can't be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I've worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.
Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.
First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can't eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...
This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it's good for the heart.
However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It's so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I've found a great addition to help any one out, it's a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don't get all crazy on me and say diet pills don't work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn't meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It's an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace.com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it's the best pill I've tried and I've tried cupboards full. Now this doesn't mean you have to follow my foot steps but I've successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.
Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.
Question: What are some good non-expensive natural weight loss supplements? What are some good non-expensive natural weight loss supplements that you can find let's say...walmart for example? Something that you can buy on a monthly basis and not end up broke.
Not something like Hydroxycut or Slimquick...I've heard they're no good
Answer: There is no such thing. It's all a matter of calories consumed and calories burned.
There are around 3500 calories in 1 lb of fat.

Do the math, work it out and save your money
Question: What weight loss supplements would you suggest? I've decided to lose about 50 lbs by the time the summer is over and so far I'm making great progress. I started my diet a little over a month ago and have already lost 14 lbs. I joined the gym. I go at least 4 times a week. Usually every day though unless another plan interrupts my schedule. I am watching what I eat. I have cut my calories significantly and even started keeping a food diary, in which i also keep track of my exercise. I bought a pedometer and count me steps, basically I've improved my way tremendously since the year started. My question now is in regards to those infamous "weight loss pills". I would like to add something to increase my energy, boost my metabolism, and just speed up the process. I am kind of in a hurry because I am planning a vacation and would like to possibly complete this before my initial plan. But how can you trust anything out there, really? Has anyone taken anything that they were satisfied with? Or does anybody have any tips in general?
I tried the Slimquick, I even tried TrimSpa, but stopped taking them soon after. Trimspa still sits in my closet i took like 4 of them. Slimquick i used a whole bottle of, bought another one, went through half and then stopped because i wasn't sure if they would interact with medications that i started taking at the time. I can say i was pretty satisfied with the results slimquick gave me. Still I would like to see what other options I have. The cost is also a concern, simply because I'm not rich and can't afford to spend $100/month on weight loss pills. A friend of mine [body builder] swears by Hydroxycut. But not many other people I talked to recommended it, so any suggestions?
Answer: DO NOT TAKE DIET PILLS! They are dangerous!!
Last year I was visiting my parents and took diet pills on top on my exercise routine and normal diet. I was 26 at the time, 5'11, 180 lbs. By week three I was sick. I had diarrhea, dry heaves, dizziness, headaches, and a general feeling of being sick. I thought I had caught the flu or something. I had lost 13 lbs in 4 days. One morning I told my mom I didn't feel good. My vision kept blacking out and I felt (for lack of a better way to say it) stoned. Later that afternoon I was walking from the bathroom to my bedroom (a 5 foot walk) and I passed out. I was rushed to the hospital emergency where they did a bunch of tests on me.
My pulse was up to 120, My blood pressure was 150/40, they had to start me on an IV, the did an EKG on me, took blood and urine samples, and a whole barrage of other tests.
They finally got me stabilized and said that I was dehydrated and malnutritioned. I told him that I took diet pills. When I mentioned diet pill, the doctors face lit up and said that's why. He said they can cause a whole bunch of health problems, including death. He told me to toss the diet pills or next time I might not be so lucky.
I was kept in the hospital for almost 10 hours, given 3 or 4 IVs, potassium, juices, and monitored (by the EKG, blood pressure, and heart rate machines) every 15 minutes.
Please take my story as a warning. If you seriously want to loose weight there are better ways (I know because I've lost weight after this)
The quickest way is to cut out red meats, starches, breads, sugars, alcohol, and sodas.
Eat veggies (salads are good), soups, and drink TONS of water. If you get hungry between a meal, drink water to fill up.
In moderation eat white meats, and fruits (fruits contain natural sugars, and that can put on weight)
Practice portion control. Yes, you'll feel hungry at first, but think of your goal, and soon your stomach will start shrinking and you won't have that feeling anymore.
Eat 5 times a day. A small breakfast. A mid-morning snack, such as an apple. A small lunch. A mid-afternoon snack, such as carrots. A lite dinner. Do not eat any later than 7pm (6pm is better.)
Go exercise for at least an hour a day, incorporating weight training. Weight training builds muscle. Muscle burns fat. You get the idea. It also gives tone and definition. Also do a few yoga and pilates exercises to help tone those hard to reach and stubborn areas.
Question: What kinds of weight loss supplements are there that don't affect your thyroid? I need to lose weight fast. No matter how much I work out and change my eating habits, it doesn't happen. Does anyone know what supplements out their actually work? I see so many pictures in the magazines for Hydroxycut, and you can tell that the "before" picture is fake. They obviously told some buff guy to gain weight, and then lose the weight again (the "after" picture). Which ones work!!!!! I need to lose 25-30 pounds within 3-4 months. Sooner would be great too.
Answer: Well here is the problem, the only thing that actually honestly works is ephedra and the FDA is doing their best to ban it.. so Im using stimerex ES but they have just changed their formula thanks to the FDA. But I have a few recommendations which are closer to the old formula and should work. The old formula of Stimerex ES with ephedra works hands down. Ive recommended it to several of my friends and they have all lost weight ..including myself..with no exercise...yes i know this is not healthy..blahblahlabh.. but here is the email I received with the different options:
If you noticed on the website Hi-Tech has changed their formula. We have had this formula for the past 1 1/2 months. It now contains 25mg of Ephedra Extract rather than the 25mg of Ephedrine Group Alkaloids (Both Ephedra but uses a different part of the plant). Also their proprietary blend contain different amounts of the same properties. I believe with Hi-Tech leading the Industry in their Ephedra products they have received a lot of flak from the FDA. Ephedra is not officially banned yet but they changed their formula for what ever reason. Lipodrene and Stimerex are still one of our top selling products, but we do have other products that contain the similar ingredients as the old Stimerex-ES (such as Tri-Stack, ECA Stack, Hydroxyslim, Yellow Cross, Yellow Bullet, etc
