Acai Juice
Question: Acai Juice? I'm looking for a site that has ratings for different Acai Juices.
Monavie will not disclose the amount of Acai in it's product. Other non-mlm producers will. Monavie must have something to hide.
I know that VitaminLife.com has:
NOW Acai Concentrate for $12.59/32oz.
Ingedients: Acai Juice, Triple Filtered Water,Blueberry Juice Concentrate, Raspberry Juice Concentrate,Pomegranate Juice Concentrate, Citric Acid, Natural Flavor and Potassium Sorbate (as a preservative).
NOW® Acai Juice has a refreshing berry taste, offering 6,500 mg of Acai concentrate per 1 oz. serving.
and
Acai100 by Genesis Today for $37.89/32oz.
100% PURE wild harvested ACAI Berry Juice! No added fruit juices, sweeteners, sugars, preservatives, water or anything!
30,000 mg of pure Acai Berry Juice in every 1 fl. oz. serving
These are a few of the products I'm considering although I am still looking for a site that compares and rates all the different Acai Juices. If you find this info please post it here
********Update********
I have finished my research and decided against the above products. The Acai 100 is made from the skin, pulp and pit of the berry. The pit has no nutritive value and comprises over 90% of the Acai Berry. This means that over 90% of Acai100 is from the pit and has no value. The Acai juice from NOW is made from freeze dried skin and pulp, but it is blended with other juices. It has more Acai than Monavie, which also uses the pit, but it is not what I am looking for. There is no juice on the market that suits my needs, i.e. 100% Acai made from only the skin and pulp of the berry. I have concluded that a powder made from the freeze-dried puree of the skin and pulp is the only acceptable product . There are many powders available but my research has shown that only one product meets my criteria and is available at a reasonable price. There is a link to their website here: www.herod.biz
After buying some, I find that it has everything I'm looking for.
Thanks......Mike
Answer: http://nakedjuice.com has juice with acai berries in them.

Question: Where can you find acai juice or acai berries? I have this smoothie recipe that calls for acai juice, and I have no idea what or where it is. Please help!
Answer: I saw some at Wal Mart the other day....at the fridge section!
Question: Which is better for acai juice Sambazon or Amazon Thunder? Looking for VERY high quality, effective acai juice. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time!
Answer: The short answer to your question is Sambazon.
Due to my own misfortune, I am on a personal mission to warn people about acai SCAMS. One scam is Acai Berry Supreme. They promised me a free bottle and I would only have to pay shipping. I noticed an additional $29.95 added to my credit card from that company and had to complain to the company to get a refund. Then they started shipping me more bottles and trying to charge me for them.
Another scam is Acai Berry Power 500, which also offered a free trial bottle. They then started mailing me additional bottles of acai without my permission. Again, I had to complain to the company to get credit card charges removed.
Also beware of people trying to sell you acai products on YA. Be cautious about people warning you of scams and then directing you to their website to buy their acai products.
If you are still interested in acai, your best bet is to go to almost any health food or vitamin store and buy acai directly. I have NO financial ties to Sambazon, but they are the most well-known and reputable companies selling acai.
Question: where can canadians buy monavi Acai berry juice? where can I buy monaVie acai juice online for in canada? the acai berry site only ships to US and i found a site that ships to Canada but Im weery because it didnt have the s. in the address for security with my credit card.
Answer: MonaVie is sold through distributors through the company, and can be purchased in Canada through a distributor website. If you would like one, try going here:
http://mymonavie.com/donovanewing
You have to register in order to purchase MonaVie. If you register as retail customer, you can buy MonaVie at the retail price. If you register as a preferred customer, you can purchase MonaVie at a 15% discount off the retail price. If you register as a distributor, you can purchase MonaVie at the wholesale price.
Hope that helps!!
Question: does acai juice lower the weight of a non-overweight person? if a person is not overweight, and has a normal bmi, would taking acai juice help slim down that person a little? or does it only work if you're overweight?
Answer: It doesn't work for anybody. I don't know how the manufactures of these products can get away with telling such lies and making claims that are absolutely not true.
Just type in acai and scam. You will only lose money not weight
If you must try them buy in local health food stores or Walmart. There are more antioxidants in fresh berries - blueberries, cranberries, black cherries. Antioxidants do not aid weight loss.
Question: How do you drink ACAI Berry Juice without gagging? I am on the Acai berry Juice diet. I have to say, it works wonders on me.I stay full longer, and lose weight. But To have to drink it sucks. I gag on the taste. I usually take a mouthful of Orange juice and take the shot. But I can still taste it.
Any tips on how to drink it without feeling like it is going to make me throw up?
Answer: Mix it with Ginger Ale, or use the Acai berry pills.
You can try a free trial of Acai berry pills using a coupon code that I found here:

Question: Does acai juice really help lose weight? My mom brought home some acai juice from joblot the other day and i researched that it helps lose weight! and i'm kinda over weight, so is it true? if i drink this stuff daily will i lose some weight?
Answer: It will not make you lose weight. Acai berry juice is just like any other juice. Acai berries are marketed as being a magical weight loss people, but are nothing but a scam. Enjoy your juice, but know that the only way to lose weight permanently is healthy diet + exercise.

Question: if I buy acai berry juice or drinkable acai berry yogurt, will it still make me lose weight and get the benefit? I am interested in buying either drinkable acai berry yogurt OR acai berry juice. Which is better? Which is cheaper at the grocery store? And im not interested in taking the pills, so will I still lose weight with this and still get the health benefits from the acai berry?
Answer: you can also get a tea that has it in it too. I think it's from vitacost.com
my mom just bought some and said it's good, so i'm going to get me some too. I buy all my vitamins from vitacost too, they have great deals!
Question: Is Acai Juice just as good as any Acai pill? Alrighty, so I've been hearing a lot about Acai and how if you take it with a colon cleanser, you'll lose wait?
Anyway, I decided to go with the Acai juice instead of a pill. What would be more beneficial, juice or the pill itself?
Answer: Hello, Cassie. I think it is important to understand something about acai berries - it is just a fruit. It does indeed have a high amount of antioxidants, but a quick trip to the acai page on wikipedia will show you that it is not even the top in that region, either. For the most part, it is a scam in the sense of the companies making money off of false pretenses. Sure, you will hear about people losing weight eating/taking a lot of acai, but let me ask you a serious question.. would the result have been different if it was a lot of a different fruit? Personally, I don't think so.
If you understand all of this and still want to have some acai, then approach it as any other fruit and enjoy yourself. However, I would stay away from the "free trials" being thrown around. You are almost guaranteed to get burned here, there are a lot of reports of people being charged for extra shipments they didn't ask for.
I don't think it is very productive to just shoot down someones question and not add anything constructive however, so I'd like to recommend some reading on a diet called calorie shifting. I have heard good things about it, but I'll drop a link below and let you decide for yourself.
I hope that whichever path you end up taking that you do lose your unwanted weight, you will surely be a much happier person in the end for it.

Question: acai juice (Deep Purple color) with pulp..normal to have "dark red in the toilet?"? I've had 3 days of acai juice with pulp in recommended doses.
The berry is VERY dark red, and so is my stool, with water surrounding it also red, which looks scary.
Is this usual?
Answer: Blood in your stool if it comes from your upper stomach will be black and from your lower stomach will be bright red. Sounds to me that the acai juice is causing you to have colored loose stool. My best advice would be to stop the juice and see what color your stool changes back to.
Question: Is a serving of Acai juice equivalent to a days worth of veggie/fruit servings? Only answer this if you know what Acai is.
Answer: I know alot about acai and I can tell you this: many acai juices are not very potent. They are watered down, sugar filled, and often contain additional fruits other than acai. Usually you can look on the nutrition label to see just how much of each vitamin and mineral you are ingesting with each serving. Typically I would say that one serving of juice probably gives you 50% or so of what you might need in a day.
I recommend investing in a 100% pure acai supplement rather than a juice. You can get a free trial of the #1 acai pill on the planet, Extreme Acai, at the source link below. This is the product I use, and honestly I feel better every day.
Now let me tell you why I recommend Extreme Acai over all other acai supplements...
Firstly, Extreme Acai is a 100% acai capsule (pill) type supplement. Capsules are superior to juices, cleansers, and detoxifiers. Juices are diluted and are filled with sugar, cleansers and detox supplements tend to promote abdominal discomfort, and they are all way overpriced. Most likely you will only find sugar filled acai juice supplements at your local GNC.
I attempted this past weekend to find a good acai supplement at GNC, Vitamin World, Hannafords, and Shaws, but I was unable to find something that was cheap, high quality, and not filled with sugar and other fillers. I am going to keep getting Extreme Acai for now.
Secondly, Extreme Acai ranks in the top 3, usually at #1, of all acai supplements in most acai product polls that I've found online.
Remember, just stick with a regular 100% acai supplement in capsule form like Extreme Acai. You can try the free trial at the source link below.
Question: Has anyone used the Acai Juice Extreem pills and gotten good results? I have purchased the Acai Juice Extreem pills from Amazon.com and I was encouraged to use this product by reading the good reviews that the pills got from other buyers.
However, I was wondering if anyone else has used them and experienced good results?
Answer: pills = no no.
Question: What is better, Acai juice or Pom Juice? I've just been wondering.
Oh, and should I start drinking that stuff or is it not really necessary and just a waste of money.
Also can you tell me why one is better then another and can you back up your statement with evidence. And after you tell me which one is better, if it is the Acai juice, what brand should I buy.
Thanks
Answer: Acai and Pomegranate are both considered "Superfruits" because they have high antioxidant levels and ORAC values. The ORAC value of Acai is a bit higher than Pomegranate.
It is not a waste of money to add these berries to your daily diet. They may help in a variety areas, such as reducing inflammation, anti-aging, fighting free radicals, increased energy, lowering cholesterol...
You can find liquid supplements that contain both berries. I would suggest reading up on the product. Viva-Acai is a liquid supplement that can be taken daily and compared to other juices on the market, it doesn't have an outrageous price tag.
Question: Is acai berry juice safe for breastfeeding women? I recently ordered some acai berry juice and my breastfeeding wife is curious if she can take it as well? Does it pose a danger to my newborn?
Answer: This is a quote:
"There are hardly any studies regarding the role of supplements and their safety or benefit during breastfeeding. We have no reason to suspect that reasonable amount of acai juice drinking or taking an occasional acai supplement would influence a breastfed baby. However, we have not seen any studies regarding the influence of acai use by the mother on the breastfed baby."
Question: What does acai juice taste like? I am a little obese and I learned about acai.I went to Walgreen's to get the pills but they said that I have to be 16 to take the pills.I am thinking about getting the juice but I don't want to waste it because of it's taste. What does acai juice taste like?
Answer: It tastes like refried swamp water. And Acai is NOT gonna help with your obesity. You gotta dump the junk food, fast food garbage & sugary sweet soda's & get up off your butt & start exercising BIG time!
