B Complex
Question: What's the difference between B-Complex and Super B-Complex vitamins? My doctor prescribed Super B-Complex, fish oil omega 3, and vitamin E. The stores have so many brands and Super B is the hardest to find. Also, which brand is the best?
Answer: It just has more B-vitamins than regular B-complex. Nature made makes Super B-complex vitamins and they are suppose to be one of the best.
Question: What is the difference between non B complex vitamins and B complex vitamins? I know that Vitamin C is a non B Complex, what else should I know?
Answer: Whole food supplements and some "natural" supplements will give foods as sources for the nutrients they contain. If a supplement is synthetic it will usually show the following as sources:
B complex – no source listed
B1 – thiamine mononitrate or thiamine hydrochloride
B2 – riboflavin
B5 – calcium D-pantothenate
B6 – pyridoxine hydrochloride
B12 – cobalamin
Folic Acid – pteroylglutamic acid
Biotin – d-Biotin
There is much controversy concerning the body’s reaction to synthetic vs. natural vitamin supplements. Many believe that the small differences between synthetic and natural are of no consequence. However, clinical evidence and several studies indicate that the body detects the difference and that natural forms of vitamins including A, B-complex, C, D, and E are more absorbable and assimilable by the body and have a more profound effect on deficiencies and disease than synthetics. This question comes to mind: Isn’t it possible that this could be true for all nutrients? Also, it has been shown that sensitive individuals who have reactions to the synthetic vitamins can take the truly natural forms with no problems
Question: Does vitamin b complex have all kinds of vitamin B or just some specific ones? Also if I take B complex would it maybe give me more energy? Should A teenager be taking B complex at all?
I need more energy.
Answer: You probably don't need it if you have a balanced diet, however I take it for acne, as do some people I know. The side of the bottle should say what it contains...I think it has all the B vitamins, or most of them anyway, 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 12...those are the main ones. There are different types with different ratios.
Question: Can You Place a Vitamin B Complex pill Under the Tongue for Energy? Ive been wondering about energy sprays for under the tongue, and just wanted to know if its possible to place a normal B complex vitamin under the tongue for the same or similar energy results.(not the sublingual). I know that things absorbed under the tongue make their way through the body/glands faster, but I'm not sure if it would be safe for a regular vitamin since it would be a different dosage.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Answer: It wouldnt dissolve. Putting medication under the tongue IS sublingual. There is a liquid vit. B that you can take and put under the tongue. But you have to remember that B complex has more than just vit B in it. If your just wanting the energy source from Vit. B, then I would just get a reg B-12. It boosts brain power as well as energy. It's not like slamming back a red bull if thats what your looking for. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any other questions.
Question: What are the benefits of taking Super B-Complex vitamins? What are the benefits of taking Super B-Complex vitamins? What do they do for your body?
Answer: These are great vitamins. They help fight off depression and boost mood. They also give you energy. Some B vitamins cannot be produced by your body so you have to take a supplement. I have found too that they help with my complexion. Dont take them right before bed, they may keep you up!
Question: What are the benefits of taking b complex capsules? I take 'b cosules'(name of the b complex capsule, at irregular time, one every day, whenever I remember it. Please state it's benefits and suggest best time and dosage.
Answer: Energy metabolism, fighting Homocysteine, and mental health are the primary benefits of any B complex.
Some people also get more benefits like fighting stress... but that's more on a case by case basis, depending on what's causing the stress
Question: Why am i still tired after taking my B complex vitamins? I have been taking a b complex vitamin as well as a multivitamin to help me wake up or boost my mood, but all it is giving me is a feeling of being tired and i also feel hungery. I have tried just taking the b complex, but still feeling the same way. Cant seem to find any answers on this. Anyone with the same symptoms?

Question: I took a Super B-Complex dietary supplement today for the first time and my urine is bright yellow, normal? I took a Nature Made Super B-Complex dietary supplement today for the first time and my urine is bright "neon" yellow. Is this just my body getting used to the high amounts of vitamins/minerals, or is this not normal?
Answer: Very normal, I take a GNC mega-men vit twice a day and take two bright yellow leaks during the day.
Question: Is it okay to take One A Day teen advantage for her and also a B complex vitamin each day? I am taking the One a Day teen advantage multivitamin each day but I also wanted to take Nature's Bounty B Complex to help with my hair and nails. Is this a good idea?
Answer: Looking at the make up of the One A Day, it contains all of the B vitamins (B1, B12, etc.) at either 133% or 150% of the RDA (recommended daily allowance). You do NOT need to take additional B vitamins. If you take in more than your body needs, the excess is just excreted anyway; you'd be spending money on additional vitamins for no additional benefit.
Question: What are the benefits of b complex vitamins? What are the benefits of b complex vitamins?
Answer: B-complex is only vitamin I can really tell a difference. Helps with mood & energy.
* PYRIDOXINE B6 Involved in breakdown & assimilation of protein. Protects cardiac health, reduces edema & stabilizes female hormone levels.
* BIOTIN enzyme that carries CO, during certain biochemical reactions involved in carbohydrate metabolism. Also acts as a co-enzyme in the assimilation of other B-complex vitamins. It is destroyed by eating raw egg whites & some kinds of raw fish.
* COBALAMIN B12 difficult to obtain from vegetable sources. A B12 deficiency results in pernicious anemia, nerve degeneration, premature senility, pronounced fatigue & mental illnesses.
* PANTOTHENIC ACID B5 The "stress" vitamin, used by the adrenal glands, along with cholesterol & vitamin C, to manufacture cortisone & other steroids in response to stress. Deficiency encourages sensitivity to allergy, infection, degenerative diseases, ulcers & hypoglycemia.
* FOLIC ACID for proper hemoglobin formation in red blood cells. Deficiency results in anemia, poor growth, skin pigmentation disorders & premature graying of hair.
* INOSITOL Vital lipotropic nutrient that sustains liver health & helps detoxify carcinogens, particularly excess female hormones. Helps normalize blood cholesterol levels. With choline, inositol is used by the liver to manufacture lecithin.
* NIACIN B3 essential to mental health. a cholesterol lowering agent.
* RIBOFLAVIN B2 common vitamin deficiency & results in cataracts, failing vision, watery eyes & eczema.
* THIAMINE B1 co-enzyme in breakdown of carbohydrates. Maintains levels of glucose. Deficiency results in weakness, cardiac damage, abdominal distention & poor oxygenation. Severe shortage results in death.
Question: Does B Complex work for men as well as it works for women? I have found a B Complex vitamin to calm my nerves, and lessen my stress level... I was wondering if it works the same for men.
Answer: Both men and women need the same vitamins and minerals. B vitamins, in general, are good for nerve function, immune system enhancement and support and increase the rate of metabolism. Natural sources come from meats and beans. If you take it as a supplement be careful and follow the recommendations for dosage on the bottle because overdose of some of the B vitamins can be dangerous.
And, getting 6-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep at night would certainly help ....
Question: How many B complex vitamin pills should I take a day? B-50 Complex vitamins.............
How much b-50 vitamin is too much?
Answer: NONE.
The B-50 product is junk. It is all so called synthetic vitamins that are nothing more than "chemical activators," not vitamins that nourish the body.
It says the complex provides 50 mg. of 10 important vitamin B supplements. Most doses meet the USRDA. B Vitamins are precursors of coenzymes involved in the conversion of cellular energy, manufacture of hormones and proteins, and repair and maintenance of nerve structures. They also function as lipotropics which converts fats to other useful products.
What they are saying is that vitamins that are found in food that contain cofactors and natural nutrients do those things. Their vitamin product wasn't the ones used to come to that conclusion, right? Right.
It is a very well known fact now that chemical activators like in that product only help you at first for a short while and then damage your DNA. This actually shortens your life expectancy.
When you take this garbage, you probably will notice right away that your pee turns yellow. Ever wonder why? Your body is trying to tell you something. It would be better for your body to put the bottle of "B" chemical activators into a strong plastic bag and take it to the hazardous waste dump and deposit it there. If you flush them, you may be risking fish getting it or worse, going into your reclaimed water supply.
A good example of why this happens is look at the Thiamine, for example, vitamin B-1 in the bottle. It is made from "Coal Tar." A non living, chemical.
The vitamin b-12 is most likely cyanocobalamine from a vegetable source. Your liver, if the pill dissolves in time, has to convert this into methylcobalamine before the body can use it. Normally, B-12 comes from an animal source and is broken down by protein digestive enzymes in the stomach to convert the larger molecules into smaller molecules.
Your intestinal flora, that is about 3/4 of your immune system, is responsible for making most of your "B" vitamins, but if you've taken just 1 antibiotic, your intestinal flora has been destroyed and you are not getting good "B" vitamins into your body. You need to get a good quality probiotic with the right balance and type of bacteria to replenish this. You can also get "B" vitamins in your food, but not enough to fix the problem from taking antibiotics.
The best source of "B" vitamins I've ever found in 40 years of researching this is at: www.healthline.cc (not .com). This product contains "B" vitamins that are from living sources of friendly bacteria production and therefore you are getting them in their "end chain" form. This is highly biologically active and very potent. You will notice after taking this, you will not see "yellow pee." It is being digested quickly into your body. It is in liquid form and is alive when you get it.
The probiotic these people sell is excellent. There are 12 different cultures in this and the potency is wonderful.
I suggest you get both those items and for the first couple days, only take 1/2 tsp. in water or juice. Increase it to 1 - 2 tsp. per day for about a month.
Take the probiotic, 1 in the a.m. and then 1 in the p.m. After doing this for 30 days, you can stop taking the "B" vitamins or as I do, take 1 tsp. per day. Keep taking the probiotics and then eat lots of fermented vegetables and fermented RAW dairy products. This is what the cultures in the world do that have NO cavities, NO heart disease, NO cancer, and NO diabetes.
Question: When is the best time to take Vitamin B Complex? E.g. before Dinner, after Breakfast etc.

Answer: hello, i take vitamin B Complex aswell i take it after my breakfast, as the directions say to take preferably with a meal, if your like me by lunch time i would of forgotten i keep them in the bathroom next to toothbrush, i would check with your G.P first to make sure it is o.k to take them just incase it does interfer with your medication, if he does say is o.k when taking them, your notice when you go to the toilet your urine will be bright yellow do not worry it is normal as vitamin B is water-soluble and it is not stored in the body and is losted through sweating and urination. Best one to get is a timed-released one then it will be released into the body through out the day, any that has been lost will be top up again. hope you found this useful.

Question: difference between a b12 injection and a b12/ b complex injection? I am wondering the difference between a b12 injection and an injection of b12/b complex. I want to get the most energy and mental clarity I can. I would also like to reap the benefits of less stress/anxiety. Let me know if you know the difference and which would be more beneficial to me.
Thanks!
Answer: There are many different b vitamins.
A b12 complex contains many of these other b vitamins. Typically b12 is the only one deficient so they usually only inject this by itself. If you want to get the most benefit, you could try the b12 complex.
