Question: Boost????? I know that a 302 can handle 9 psi of boost on a stock bottom end easily. Does anyone know the " safe limit " of an 84' 351w with a stock bottom end ? I plan on running a twin turbo setup on my Mustang which is equipped with the 351. My compression is 9.0:1 and future plans are to run better rods and crank. Answer: Is this engine already assembled or in the planning stages? There is more to it than just slapping two turbos on a 351, the cam is going to be a major player in the game with boost added to the mix. You want a cam with duration and lobe separation that is compatable with forced induction To add: two turbos might be a possibility, you can run a twin turbo set up and run 9 psi (as an example). Question: How much boost can I run on a stock engine? I was thinking about supercharging my 1996 V6 Mustang. How much boost can I run and still have a reliable driver? It has 120K miles on it and runs really smooth right now. After boosting it for a few years, I was planning on either rebuilding or replacing the motor with all the goodies in it. I would be using ATI Procharger intercooled kit. I was thinking maybe 7 or 9 pounds. Do you think this will be ok for awhile?? I have reasons for not getting V8 so that's not an option. Answer: they have a new Mustang Shelby 400 with a supercharged v6 with 400 hp.but it uses the 4.0 sohc Explorer engine, a very nice package. Question: What are some ways to boost my immune system for this cold and flu season? It seems that every year I get at least 3 or 4 colds/sinus infections and the flu at least a couple of times and it seems that it just gets worse every year. Answer: Try taking AirBorne (a supplement that boosts your immune system) and try to steer clear of people that exhibit symptoms of cold/flu. Also you might want to try increasing your daily intake of vitamins, especially Vitamin C which can be found in orange juice and other fruits/juices. As you mentioned, smoothies can do wonders for your immune system, given they contain proper ingredients. Tropicana has a delicious brand of smoothies that are high in vitamins and nutrients that help to safeguard you against bacteria/other germs. Make sure you get plenty of rest each night, otherwise it significantly lowers your immune system's ability to fight off disease and other air-borne germs. Answer: you can buy a wireless repeater, works like a router, only it will repeate the signal from the main router, not use it's own.

Answer: Eat foods that are complex carbohydrates (e.g. -- they have fiber in them) or that also have protein in them. Pears are a good example; so is cantaloupe. Almonds and peanut butter are great, too. By eating something that isn't a simple sugar, sugar will go into your blood gradually, giving you a continuous flow of energy, rather than making you jittery and then causing you to "crash." Question: How can I boost my wireless connection that is provided throughout my apartment building? My wireless internet is provided throughout the building by SpotOn Networks and has a lot of people connection to one access point. It's terribly slow because there's so many people on the system and I would like to be able to boost my connection somehow without buying a separate internet service.

Question: What is the best phone to use on the Boost unlimited plan? I love this Boost mobile unlimited plan but their phones suck. I need a phone that has the capabilities of a Blackberry but that actually works with the Boost unlimited plan. The Blackberry 8350i wont work. I need to be alerted when I have an email and I need to be able to send and receive text. Which phone can do all this that is compatible with the Boost network?

Answer: That theoretical Boost phone you're talking about does not yet really exist. At this point you have two basic alternatives, 1) Mod the Blackberry so it has ALMOST all the functions of a Blackberry service. The good part is that it is free, that bad part is you have to hunt down the apps to make it happen. Opera mini is a common one. If you're willing to take this route: You can start at Boosthacks.com. Crackberry.com Howardforums.com and use the search term Boostberry which is what they call a Blackberry W/ Boost sim. Or you can just punch Boostberry in Ebay. There are some people who mod it for you so you don't have to so their Boost berry has all the apps preloaded, internet and I think email and texting depending on the seller and model. If going this route, ask a lot of questions to find out before buying. The other is go get Nextel Service Blackberry service so that the Blackberry has the service it was meant to have. The problem with that is that obviously is going to costs more. But will give you everything you were meant to have. Boost has no true smartphones. The Blackberries and maybe the Windows Mobile equpped i920/i930 for Nextel are about it. The i920 /930 can also be unlocked to take tmobile, att and foreign sims but it can't send texts even thought it can receive on Boost. Boost isn't really designed to accomodate smartphones. Most of the prepaid carriers aren't (They usually have good talk rates but expensive data/internet) .
