Question: what is the best (cheapest/most potent/ highest quality) resveratrol on the market today? i'm looking for the best buy on resveratrol. there are so many brands on the market but they are too hard to compare. i'm taking Longevinex brand now but it's a bit too pricey. are there any better/cheaper quality brands available? thanks.
Answer: Longevinex has less by fillers and more quality ingredients than some of the others. I would say that it is worth the extra price.
Question: Can anyone reccomend a good resveratrol product and not on the expensive end? I want to take reseratrol and have found many products but anyone have any recommendations for a good cheap brand or bulk powder. Thanks
Answer: Organic concord grape juice!
Question: What is a good cheap wine from Krogers? Looking for more resveratrol in my diet.
Answer: If they carry Charles Shaw (infamously known as Two Buck Chuck) that's pretty good wine in the less than $5 range. Funny story about that wine - the wine is not cheap because it's bad. It's cheap because in the divorce settlement, his wife got half of everything. Well, one way to "stick it to her" was to drastically lower the profits of the winery. Way to go Chuck. Too bad he's also hurting himself, but the consumer wins in the end as this is a very good wine for the ridiculously low price!
Question: what is the cheapest high dosage resveratrol?

Question: Scientifically based, proven skin care? I would be very grateful if you would take the time to write an article about how to make up a skin regiment out of ingredients you might already have around the house- mostly in the kitchen probably.
Don't get me wrong. i am not by any means advocating that the use of so called "natural" ingredient is somehow more beneficial in any way to the skin - taking that as a fact, as most people do, would be just stupid, with no bases in science, but in folklore and lack of sufficient scientific information.
All matter in the universe is made up of atoms, and every single carbon atom for example, would be absolutely chemically identical to every single other carbon atom. Well, there are differences in the number of electrons - carbon atoms with different number of electrons are called ions, and differences in the number of neutrons, which make up isotopes, if there are differences in the number of protons, that'll be a different chemical element, but my point was referring to the fact that a naturally occurring carbon atom and a man synthesized one, providing they are identical in electron and neutrons numbers, do not, in any way, behave differently.
Therefore all ingredients used in cosmetics, whether natural or man-made, have to be the subject of the same safety regulations.
"Natural" doesn't really have an official definition in the first place - in the E.U. at least it doesn't - and in my opinion that's a good thing! ill explain in a minute - and without regulations, any company could promote their products as being natural which due to popular belief translates as better and as a result, to bigger sales for the company making the claim.
The truth of the matter is, everything out there is natural! so a definition or regulation restricting the use of the term would not be required. Organic, sure, that's another thing, it refers to a more specific concept, but "natural", i simply can not imagine anything from this universe or a parallel one that is unnatural! This is a paradox in my opinion!
Well, back to less philosophical and more practical stuff, the reason i am asking u to write such an article is that, financially, we're all having a hard time in this period, and no matter how cheap a cosmetic product is, ultimately, it is going to have a monetary cost - we live in a monetary sistem, everything has a cost,
Further more, although "organic" or "naturally occurring" and "good for your skin" are not interchangeable, there is certainly a lot of stuff to be found in a household kitchen that can have potentially beneficial ingredients for your skin.
Again, the reason im asking this is purely money, not false beneficial claims related to "natural" products.
Also, im not referring to old, dated, or superstition based remedies, but on scientifically proven ingredients. im sure there are some to be found in there somewhere! most of the state of the art ingredients used in expensive skin care are ultimately derived from plants and plant
extracts, very few are actually entirely synthesized in a chemical laboratory,
For example, i read that the two primary proteins contained in milk, casein and whey, applied topically can have good water-binding properties. Caffeine has potential as an antioxidant. Resveratrol found in red grapes and red wine has anti-inflammatory properties, green tea is an antioxidants and has anti-inflammation properties, pomegranate is also antioxidant and has anticancer properties.
When the financial situation demands it, people can afford to cut loose on cosmetics. Food is another story. You have to eat in order to live - so in one way, food is forever! or at least as long as you live.
Answer: Well...apple cider vinegar can be used as toner, and I have used nutmeg/milk face masks that have really helped with my skin. I know cucumber soothes skin. sorry...I don't have much to talk about
Question: When drinking red wine for the health benefits, how much is too much? Recently I've been looking into the benefits of drinking a glass or two of wine per day. I haven't been much of a wine drinker, but decided to pick up a bottle of "Cono Sur"- a $10 bottle of merlot rose. I've had less than half a glass (with dinner) and I'm already feel a little warmth in my stomach. Is it okay to feel a little tipsy, or is that a sign you're drinking too much? I'm not talking drunk, just feeling a little loose. Also, how much does a "glass" amount to? My glasses are pretty large, so I filled it considerably less than half way.
And my last question- I've read that more expensive wines are better for you, because the fruit is richer therefore more antioxidants and resveratrol. I'm not up for spending $100 on each bottle of wine, so what fruits, ingredients or cheaper names should I look out for that will give me the benefits of a more expensive bottle without breaking the bank?
Answer: If your looking for health benefits, you can do no better than check my link which gives you the recommended amounts of alcohol.
All recommendations are based on the number of units of alcohol in any particular drink, the safe limit for women is no more that 14 units per week and no more than three units in any one day.
For example there are one and a half units of alcohol in a small glass (125ml) of ordinary strength wine (12% alcohol by volume).
I'm sure you can work out the amounts for your glasses, any more than this amount you not only negate any health benefits but could start damaging your health.

Answer: Resveratrol is found in grapevines (Vitis vinifera L). It occurs in the vines, roots, seeds and stalks, but its highest concentration is in grape skins. Wine also contains resveratrol. The concentration of resveratrol in red wine is much higher than that of white wine. The main difference between red and white wine production, besides the grapes used, is that for red wine the skins and seeds are involved in the process, while white wine is mainly prepared from the juice, essentially avoiding the use of grape skins and seeds. During the wine making process, resveratrol, as well as other polyphenols, including quercetin, catechins, gallocatechins, procyanidins and prodelphidins (condensed tannins), are extracted from the grape skins via a process called maceration.
Resveratrol, as well as the other polyphenols in wine, is thought to account in large part for the so-called French Paradox. The French Paradox—the finding that the rate of coronary heart disease mortality in France is lower than observed in other industrialized countries with a similar risk factor profile—has been attributed to frequent consumption of red wine.
In addition to grapes and wine, dietary sources of resveratrol include peanuts and mulberries. Resveratrol is also found in significant amounts in the dried roots and stems of the plant Polygonium cuspidatum Sieb. Et Zucc., also known as the Japanese knotweed. The dried root and stem of this plant is used in traditional Chinese and Japanese medicine as a circulatory tonic, among other things. This traditional Chinese and Japanese remedy is also known as Hu Zhang, Hu Chang, tiger cane, kojo-kon and hadori-kon. Most of the resveratrol-containing supplements which are marketed in the U.S. contain extracts of the root of Polygonium cuspidatum. Darakchasava, an ayurvedic herbal remedy, has as its principal ingredient Vitis vinifera L, and therefore, contains resveratrol. It is mainly used in ayurvedic medicine as a cardiotonic.
Resveratrol, which is also known as 3,4',5 trihydroxystilbene and 3,4',5-stilbenetriol, exists in cis- and trans-stereoisomeric forms. Resveratrol is the parent molecule of a family of polymers called viniferins. Cis- and trans-resveratrol occur naturally as do their glucosides. Resveratrol-3-O-beta-D-glucoside is also known as piceid, and the respective cis- and trans-glucosides are called cis-piceid and trans-piceid. The molecular formula of resveratrol is C14H12O3 and its molecular weight is 228.25 daltons.
Question: Can resveratrol be more pure? I have received resveratrol from netbio.com I trust them pharmacy quality products, and they extract resveratrol from polygonumcuspidatum roots.
I do not know what the heck the root is that, but its really abundant of resveratrol as they guarantee, even they show its chemical knit.
It is not cheap because most of cheap resveratrols have minimum amount plus fillers
Netbio.com is a New Jersey lab, and I get their pagage within 3 days in Brooklyn NY
